Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that researchers found in the field, the role of guidance and counseling teachers in shaping the soft skills of students. The phenomenon that researchers found in the field was the role of guidance and counseling teachers in shaping students' soft skills. The key informants and additional informants in this study were: BK teachers, school principals, curriculum representatives, homeroom teachers and subject teachers. in forming soft skills in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation of service results. The results of this study are recommended for guidance and counseling teachers in order to improve the pedagogical, personality and social competencies of guidance and counseling teachers in providing services related to shaping students' soft skills.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have not been able to understand the ability to manage emotions, are less concerned when the teaching and learning process takes place, are easy to develop emotions with friends, and there is no special service program design for the emotional development of students based on information technology. The purpose of the study was to reveal the ability of students to manage emotions and to design Guidance and Counseling service programs based on Information Technology according to the problems of students at the State Vocational High School 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang related to the ability to manage emotions. This type of research used quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study was students in class XI TBSMi State Vocational High School 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique, where researchers took the entire population of 64 respondents. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. To analyze the data, the percentage and mean formulas were used. The application that the researcher designed has been validated by 3 theoretical experts, 1 practitioner expert and 1 media expert, namely by obtaining a total expert score of 3.36 with the "very acceptable" category. The results obtained from the description of the ability of students in managing their emotions were obtained scores with a moderate category. Furthermore, with the results of the acquisition of these score categories, a development program design in managing the emotions of students in class XI TBSM at the State Vocational High School 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang can be made. Keywords: Program design, self regulation, Guidance and Counseling. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya fenomena peserta didik yang belum mampu memahami kemampuan mengelola emosi, kurang peduli saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung, mudah mengeluarkan amarah kepada temannya, saling mengejek dalam lingkup pertemanan, dan belum adanya rancangan program layanan khusus untuk pengembangan mengelola emosi peserta didik berbasis teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkap kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengelola emosi dan merancang program layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling  berbasis Teknologi Informasi  sesuai permasalahan peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan mengelola emosi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini peserta didik di kelas XI TBSMi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, dimana peneliti mengambil keseluruhan populasi yaitu sebanyak 64 orang responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan rumus presentase dan mean. Aplikasi yang peneliti rancang telah di validasi oleh 3 orang pakar teoritis, 1 orang pakar praktisi dan 1 orang pakar media yaitu dengan perolehan skor keseluruhan pakar yaitu 3, 36 dengan kategori “sangat diterima”. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari gambaran kamampuan peserta didik dalam mengelola emosinya yaitu diperoleh skor dengan kategori sedang. Selanjutnya dengan hasil perolehan kategori skor tersebut dapat dibuat rancangan program pengembangan dalam mengelola emosi peserta didik di kelas XI TBSM di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. Kata Kunci : Rancangan program, Mengelola emosi, Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

This study has problems 1) low career decision making 2) lack of self-confidence and feelings of fear if the career to be taken is not right 3) students do not know the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The population of the research data is 50 students covering class XI IPA. The results of the study with 50 students were taken through a questionnaire distribution technique using a self-efficacy scale and a career decision-making scale. The results of the self-efficacy questionnaire showed a fairly high category (24.00%) for 12 students, high (62.00%) for 31 students, very high (14.00%) for 7 students. Then the level of career decision making shows a fairly high category (34.00%) 17 students, high (46.00%) 23 students, very high (20.00%) 10 students. Based on the results of the study, it was stated that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making for class XI students at SMAN 8 Padang. This means that the higher the level of student self-efficacy, the higher the career decision making.Keywords : Self Efficacy, Career Decision Making AbstractPenelitian ini memiliki permasalahan 1) pengambilan keputusan karir yang rendah 2) peserta didik belum memiliki rasa percaya diri dan memiliki perasaan takut apabila karir yang akan diambilnya tidak tepat sehingga menimbulkan self-efficacy 3) peserta didik belum mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dengan pengambilan keputusan karir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat self-efficacy yang dimiliki peserta didik dalam pengambilan keputusan karir serta mengetahui hubungan antara keduanya Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi data penelitian berjumlah 50 peserta didik meliputi kelas XI F.2 dan XI F.8. Hasil penelitian dengan 50 peserta didik diambil melalui teknik penyebaran angket dengan menggunakan skala self-efficacy dan skala pengambilan keputusan karir. Hasil angket self-efficacy menunjukkan kategori cukup tinggi (24,00%) dengan frekuensi 12 peserta didik, tinggi (62,00%) dengan frekuensi 31 peserta didik, sangat tinggi (14,00%) dengan frekuensi 7 peserta didik. Kemudian tingkat pengambilan keputusan karir menunjukkan kategori cukup tinggi (34,00%) dengan frekuensi 17 peserta didik, tinggi (46,00%) dengan frekuensi 23 peserta didik, sangat tinggi (20,00%) dengan frekuensi 10 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan pengambilan keputusan karir peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 8 Padang. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat self-efficacy peserta didik semakin tinggi pengambilan keputusan karir.Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy, Pengambilan Keputusan Karir

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada keberadaan orang tua tunggal yang berperan sebagai pengasuhan, peduli, membimbing anak down syndrome tanpa pendamping suami secara figur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua tunggal pada anak sindroma Down dari 1) Orang tua tunggal sebagai pengambil keputusan, 2) Tanggung jawab orang tua tunggal sebagai orang tua, 3) Tanggung jawab orang tua tunggal sebagai guru, 4) Orang tua tunggal sebagai pembimbing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi observasi. Informannya adalah RW sebagai informan kunci, sedangkan RD, YM, dan IF sebagai informan tambahan. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Orangtua tunggal sebagai pengambil keputusan, suatu keputusan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dialami anak down syndrome. 2) tanggung jawab Single Parent sebagai orang tua, mencari informasi tentang anak-anak Down Syndrome, dan merencanakan masa depannya. 3) Tanggung jawab orang tua tunggal sebagai guru, menghabiskan waktu dan mendampingi anak dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah. 4) Single parent sebagai pembina, mendidik anak down syndrome agar mandiri, sehingga tidak bergantung pada orang lain. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada orang tua tunggal baik ayah tunggal maupun ibu tunggal yang menjadi orang tua tunggal pada anak sindroma Down.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still students who are less able to relate socially with other people. Students' problems related to interpersonal intelligence, it can be seen that the behavior of students in class XI mipa SMA Negeri 1 Bungo has problems regarding interpersonal intelligence in general at school. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of interpersonal intelligence of students in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bumgo 1.) To reveal the interpersonal intelligence of students seen from social sensitivity. 2.) To reveal the interpersonal intelligence of students seen from social insight. 3.) To reveal the interpersonal intelligence of students seen from social communication. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the research population of students in SMA Negeri 1 Bungo the sample to be carried out in the study is 133 students. The sample in this study is class XI MIPA by using random sampling technique. The results of the study on the Interpersonal Intelligence Development Profile of Students in Class XI Mipa SMA Negeri 1 Bungo Jambi Province seen from the identification results were generally in the very high range with a percentage of 60.90%. This means that many students have very high interpersonal intelligence in SMA Negeri 1 Bungo. Then interpersonal intelligence is divided into 3 indicators, namely: 1) interpersonal intelligence can be seen from social sensitivity is in the very high category 67.67%, 2) interpersonal intelligence can be seen from social insight is in the very high category 56.39%, 3) Interpersonal intelligence can be seen from social communication which is in the very high category of 60.15%. Based on the results of the study, it can be recommended to students in order to further improve interpersonal intelligence well

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of students who are less able to manage emotions, are empty and build relationships and the absence of information technology (IT) emotional intelligence instruments, therefore researchers are interested in making website-based emotional intelligence instruments that can facilitate BK teachers in revealing intelligence. owned by students. This study aims to reveal the emotional intelligence of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang and to design a website-based emotional intelligence instrument that is acceptable theoretically, practically and IT. This research was conducted by the method of development research (R&D). The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The development procedure used in this study includes 5 steps, namely: 1) Potential and problems, 2) Data collection, 3) Product design, 4) Design validation, 5) Design revision, so as to produce a website-based emotional intelligence instrument final product design. The subjects in this study were 37 students of class XI TKJ and XI TBSM. The results of this study reveal that in general the emotional intelligence of students is in the moderately intelligent category, and website-based emotional intelligence instruments that have been validated by theoretical, practical, and media experts are categorized as "very acceptable" and suitable for use. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for BK teachers to use website-based emotional intelligence instruments by researchers and the implementation of effective guidance and counseling services at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang.

Abstract

The formulation of problems in the study include: (1) Students who procrastinate in making assignments and there are students who do not complete assignments on time (2) Students who do not have motivation in themselves (3) Students who do not have life goals and there are students who cannot control themselves. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of learning motivation possessed by students in self-regulated learning and to determine the relationship between the two The type of research used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The research data population amounted to 55 high school students. The results of the study with 55 students were taken through questionnaire distribution techniques using a learning motivation scale and a self regulated learning scale. The results of the learning motivation questionnaire showed a high category (76.36%) with a frequency of 42 students, quite high (23.64%) with a frequency of 13 students. Then the level of self-regulated learning shows a high category (80.00%) with a frequency of 44 students, quite high (14.55%) with a frequency of 8 students, very high (3.63%) with a frequency of 2 students, and low (1.82%) with a frequency of 1 student. Based on the results of the study, it states that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and self-regulated learning of high school students. This means that the higher the level of learning motivation of students, the higher the self-regulated learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the presence of students who tend to procrastinate on assignments given by the teacher, thereby disrupting their learning process. That happens because self-management among students is lacking, as self-management in terms of learning is necessary. The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) The profile of students' self-regulation. 2) The profile of students' academic procrastination. 3) To examine the relationship between self-regulation and students' academic procrastination. Paraphrase text. This research uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method with a population of 348 students. The sample in this study consisted of 186 people using the proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study are the academic procrastination questionnaire and the self-regulation questionnaire. Data analysis in this study is descriptive statistics and product moment correlation. The results of the research on the relationship between self-regulation and academic procrastination of twelfth-grade students at Padang State High School 3 reveal that: 1) The self-regulation profile of the students is in the moderate category. 2) The academic procrastination profile of the students is in the moderate category. 3) There is a very weak correlation between self-regulation and academic procrastination of the students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of many students who tend to behave in bullying ways such as cursing, hitting, throwing, calling names with labels, threatening, and scaring. Bullying behavior is a negative behavior that is suspected to be one of the causal factors of low self-control. The objectives of this study are to: 1) Describe student self-control, 2) Describe student behavior, 3) Test the relationship between self-control and bullying behavior. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a correlational method. The population of this study was all students of class XI Phase F at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi totaling 349 people with a research sample of 70 people using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis was processed using the product moment formula with Statistical Product and Service solution (SPSS) version 22. The results of this study revealed that, 1) Students' self-control is in the very good category 85.71%, 2) Students' bullying behavior is in the fairly high category 67.14%, 3) There is a relationship between self-control and bullying behavior of 0.235 with a strong correlation. This can be interpreted that the higher the students' self-control, the less bullying behavior in students.
