Abstract

Tracer Study (TS) atau yang disebut studi pelacakan merupakan penelurusan lulusan yang terkait dengan informasi kompentensi pendidikan tinggi di lingkungan dunia kerja professional yang dapat dilakukan paling cepat 2 tahun setelah wisuda, Tracer Study bertujuan untuk mengetahui outcomes pendidikan dalam bentuk transisi dari dunia pendidikan tinggi ke dunia kerja. Masa tunggu kerja merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi alumni sebuah perguruan tinggi, hal ini juga termasuk indikator sukses tidaknya pelaksanaan belajar mengajar. Data masa tunggu kerja dapat diperoleh dari data tracer study, tetapi perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi alumni untuk memperoleh pekerjaan pertamanya secara cepat.Melihat fakta akan pentingnya masa tunggu kerja bagi alumni, peneliti merasa perlu melakukan penelitian untuk mencari penyebab / faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi alumni memperoleh pekerjaan pertamanya, dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode neural network. Metode ini bekerja dengan cara melakukan training 70% dan testing 30% dari data alumni yang baru lulus.Berdasarkan hasil dari eksperimen dengan metode Neural Network diperoleh hasil class precision sebesar 87.76 %. Dan prediksi masa tunggu mendapatpekerjaan <= 6 Bulan sebesar 43 dan masa tunggu > 6 bulan sebesar 6.

Abstract

Diabetes penyakit serius yang terkenal didunia dengan sebutan silent killer yang tercatat semakin meningkat dari tahun 1980 sampai 2014 sebanyak 422juta jiwa. Hal ini perlu di perhatikan secara serius karena berimbas pada timbulnya beban kerja sumberdaya medis yang berlebihan serta tentunya beban keuangan yang akan timbul karena hal tersebut. Pada era teknologi maju saat ini data mining pada bidang kesehatan hadir untuk memberikaran analisa data khususnya data penyakit diabetes dengan tepat dan akurat. Klasifikasi data mining dipadukan dengan metode research and development dapat digunakan sebagai sebuah sistem aplikasi untuk memprediksi penyakit diabetes. Oleh sebab itu peneliti membuat sebuah sistem deteksi penyakit diabetes menggunakan fiture selection korelasi pearson dan klasifikasi na ve bayes yang diharapkan dapat membantu ahli medis dalam deteksi penyakit diabetes secara lebih cepat dan mengurangi beban biaya yang timbul akibat masalah ini. Sistem prediksi berbasis web akan menangani data diabetes berjumlah 768 baris data dengan menampilkan 10 fiture yaitu Pregnancies, Glucose, BloodPressure, SkinThickness, Insulin, BMI, DiabetesPedigreeFunction, Age dan Outcome yang diperoleh pada Pima Indians Diabetes kaggle dataset. Penggunaan algoritma korelasi pearson dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan performa dari algoritma na ve bayes dengan nilai akurasi dari 68,2%  menjadi 79,13% pada data penyakit diabetes.

Abstract

Batik is the result of cultural arts that contains a philosophical meaning in each of its motifs. Various types of batik motifs create complexity in the recognition of batik image patterns. Classification of images into certain classes is also a problem in the field of pattern recognition. Machine learning is a method that is very developed at this time. Machine learning method is used to identify batik motifs through batik image classification. This study focuses on the image dataset of written batik which has two motifs, namely classical motifs and contemporary motifs. This study shows the experimental results of batik image classification using the Backpropagation Neural Network, Support Vector Machine and k-Nearest Neighbor classification methods. Co-occurrence matrices as wavelet filter-based feature extraction are used for input into batik image classification. The experimental results show that k-NN gets the best accuracy value of 95.56% while BPNN gets an accuracy value of 85.40% and SVM gets an accuracy value of 76.51%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that k-NN is the best method for classifying batik images with co-occurrence matrices as wavelet filter-based feature extraction.

Abstract

Enhancing heat transfer efficiency and pressure regulation in copper pipe flow systems is crucial for advancing modern cooling and heating technologies, particularly given the widespread use of copper piping in these applications. This study investigates the thermal and hydraulic performance of ethylene glycol/water (EG/water) and tri ethylene glycol/water (TEG/water) mixtures as working fluids in copper pipe systems. A series of controlled experiments was carried out on a dedicated copper pipe test section to evaluate the effects of varying flow rates on the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop for each fluid mixture. The results indicate that the TEG/water mixture yielded a ~2.0% increase in heat transfer coefficient and a ~1.0% reduction in pressure drop compared to the EG/water mixture, with a corresponding increase in Reynolds number of approximately 37.0%. The reduction in pressure drop is primarily attributed to the lower viscosity of the TEG/water fluid. These findings provide valuable comparative insights into the thermophysical behaviour of both glycol-based mixtures and offer practical guidance for optimizing the selection of thermal fluids in large-scale cooling and heating systems that utilize copper piping.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of business ethics from an Islamic perspective, highlighting two key principles: justice (adl) and honesty (siddiq), which are pertinent in addressing modern trade challenges. The digital era presents various issues, such as information manipulation and transparency concerns, often disadvantaging consumers. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research utilizes thematic interpretation of Quranic verses, including QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 282 and QS. Al-Mutaffifin [83]: 1-3, to explore how these principles can be applied in contemporary business ecosystems. The findings reveal that implementing justice and honesty strengthens consumer trust, enhances customer loyalty, and supports business objectives. The study proposes recommendations, including the integration of Islamic ethical values into digital business operations, strengthening of government regulations, improvement of Islamic financial literacy, and public education initiatives.

Abstract

Spring-back and spring-go are critical elastic recovery phenomena in sheet metal forming that affect the angular precision of bent components. This study investigates the influence of punch angle, die opening, and punch speed on these behaviors during the Vee-bending process of SCGA340BHX high-strength galvanized steel. A Taguchi design of experiments with an L8 orthogonal array was applied, and spring-back angles were measured and analyzed using the “smaller-is-better” signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio criterion. The results reveal that punch angle is the most influential parameter governing spring-back and spring-go tendencies, followed by die opening and punch speed. A punch angle of 50° and a die opening of 35 mm produced the highest average spring-back (3.03°), while spring-go behavior was observed primarily at higher punch speeds (35–40 mm/min). The study further confirmed the inverse relationship between bending force and spring-back, with lower forming forces correlating to greater elastic recovery. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the interdependence between geometric and kinematic factors in elastic recovery phenomena, offering quantitative insights for optimizing Vee-bending operations involving thin, high-strength steel.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the government's internal control system, the village financial system application (Siskeudes), and the competence of village apparatus on the accountability of village fund management in Sukoharjo District. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from a sample of village apparatus using a simple random sampling technique. Respondents, who are operators of the Siskeudes application, provided insights through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The findings reveal that both the government's internal control system and the Siskeudes application significantly enhance the accountability of village fund management. However, the competence of the village apparatus does not have a significant effect on accountability. These results suggest that robust internal controls and effective financial systems are critical for ensuring transparency and accountability in village fund management. The study contributes to the ongoing discourse on public fund management by highlighting the importance of technological and systemic factors over individual competencies in achieving accountable governance.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan industri di daerah Kabupaten Karawang menuntut adanya pengingkatan keterampilan penduduk sekitar agar mereka dapat bekerja pada sektor industri yang berada di sekitar mereka atau mereka dapat berkarya sebagai wirausahawan sesuai dengan keterampilan yang dimilikinya. Keterampilan pada proses pengelasan menggunakan Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) merupakan salah satu pilihan agar masyarakat mempunyai keterampilan khusus yang dapat digunakan untuk dapat bekerja pada sektor industri bidang otomotif, konstruksi, dan yang sejenis. Selain itu, pengetahuan akan mesin-mesin las dan jenis-jenis elektroda akan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat yang akan terjun membuka usaha jasa pengelasan mandiri. Proses pengabdian pelatihan telah dilaksanakan di Desa Tegalsawah Kecamatan Karawang Timur dengan cara pengenalan secara teori dan praktek pengelasan langsung. Hasil pengabdian telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan para peserta mengenai jenis-jenis mesin las dan elektrodanya, dan para peserta telah mulai mampu untuk melakukan proses pengelasan sendiri.

Abstract

Pesantren At Taubah, sebagai pondok pesantren modern, mempunyai visi “menjadi Lembaga Pendidikan Islam berbasis life skill unuk menyiapkan generasi Indonesia yang maju, berkarakter/adab, dan memiliki keterbukaan wawasan iptek yang bermanfaat bagi lingkungan”. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakuakn dengan tujuan untuk penambahan pengetahuan para santri di pondok pesantren tersebut tentang energi terbarukan, khususnya panel surya, merupakan salah satu upaya dalam menggapai visi pesantren, dimana mereka akan mempunyai ilmu dan pengetahuan (iptek) terkini. para santri juga memahami bahwa sumber energi surya (matahari) mempunyai dampak yang lebih baik bagi lingkungan dibandingkan dengan energi yang bersumber dari fosil. Pengetahuan tentang manfaat sumber energi surya telah mampu dibarengi dengan keterampilan para santri tentang bagaimana cara untuk merangkai peralatan panel surya hingga dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi sumber energi listrik. Para santri juga telah diberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan merangkai panel surya yang diiringi dengan pengetahuan penghitungan daya, tegangan, dan arus yang dihasilkan dari rangkaian panel surya yang direncakan atau yang telah dibuat.

Abstract

This study discusses the performance of Ethaline Glycol/water (EG/H2O) fluids at a volume ratio of 40/60. EG/H2O fluids are widely used as basic fluids in cooling and heating system applications. The discussion of EG/H2O fluid performance is focused on the analysis of the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop. The study used an experimental method using a suction test made of pure copper with an inner diameter, outer diameter and length of 16 mm, 19 mm and 1500 mm respectively. The EG/H2O volume ratio at 40/60 was selected as the input parameter. Other input parameters are variations in the fluid flow rate which are regulated using a control valve at fluid flow rates of 4, 6, 8, 10.12, 14.16 and 18 liters/minute. A 2-unit tubular heater with a total capacity of 2000 W was installed on the sides of the copper pipes. A voltage regulator with a capacity of 3000 W is used to regulate the electric power by regulating the supplied voltage. Ampere pliers are used to measure amperage at the setting used. The experimental results show that the performance of the EG/H2O fluid on the heat transfer coefficient increases as the fluid flow rate increases. The highest heat transfer coefficient rate was obtained at a fluid flow rate of 18 L/minute, while the lowest value was obtained at a fluid flow rate of 4 L/minute. Pressure drops fluctuations occur as the fluid flow rate increases. Even though there is a fluctuating pressure drop, this condition does not significantly affect the friction factor, because the fluid flow characteristics occur in a turbulent manner
