Abstract

This study discusses the motives for cooperation between the Malaysian government and the South Korean government in the halal industry. In 2021, Malaysia and South Korea signed an MoU that resulted in an agreement on the promotion of halal products and Muslim-friendly tourism. The purpose of this study is to explain and find out the reasons for the cooperation between the two countries in the halal industry. This study uses a liberalism perspective, with the level of nation-state analysis. This study also uses the theory of international cooperation and the concept of national interest. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques using literature studies and various literatures that refer to books, journals and sites on the internet. This study shows that the reason for this collaboration is because Malaysia sees a large potential market for halal products and Muslim-friendly tourism in South Korea. The Hallyu trend makes many Muslim foreign tourists visit South Korea so that the demand for halal products also increases. Not only that, Malaysia sees the potential for Muslim-friendly tourism in South Korea which still needs to be developed. Through this cooperation, the two countries can increase exports of halal products and hold training in the field of Muslim-friendly tourism. Abstract

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is one of several international NGOs committed to safeguarding children across the world. One of the United Nations' many bodies, UNICEF works to ensure that children everywhere have the protection and opportunities they deserve. Because of its high prevalence, stunting is a top priority for the Indonesian government in the province of NTT. UNICEF, a global organization focused on child issues, works with the province of NTT to combat stunting via initiatives like the Integrated Malnutrition Management program, which runs from 2015 to 2018. This presentation will discuss UNICEF's Integrated Malnutrition Management program for 2015-2018 and how it has helped reduce the prevalence of stunting in children in NTT. This study adopts the Pluralist stance, which holds that states are not the only actors in international relations, and is driven by the International Organizations theory, which elucidates the significant role that international organizations play. The approach is qualitative, and information is gathered through the official website www.unicef.org as well as research in many books, magazines, and dissertations from the library's collection. The data presented here demonstrates UNICEF's involvement and contributions to the fight against stunting in Indonesia from 2015 to 2018. UNICEF's collaboration and involvement is shown by the provision of aid to malnourished and stunted children in Indonesia, particularly in East Nusa Tenggara Province, which has the highest prevalence of stunting in the country. Abstract

There has been discrimination against the human rights of the Rohingya ethnic minority in Myanmar. There have been a number of attempts by the incumbent regime to remove their citizenship status in Myanmar. The world community; caring countries; non-state and other international organizations that are pro-humanity reacted strongly. However, the regime in power did not ignore it, even closed itself off from various responses from various parties and still did not recognize the citizenship status of the Rohingya ethnicity. The question is, why does the ruling regime insist on not recognizing the citizenship status of the Rohingya? Why do regional and international organizations respond to discrimination against the Rohingya?; What ideas are offered to make “ethnicity” a capital for nation building?. The research uses qualitative methods with literature study, sourced from secondary data from documentation and literature. The finding is that the Rohingya ethnic citizenship status that is not recognized can perpetuate the domination of the military regime's power in Myanmar. The international response to discrimination in Myanmar is a form of concern for ensuring the upholding of the pillars of democracy, global security, international law and human rights in Myanmar. A new ideology is needed for tomorrow's generation in order to change the "ethnic faction" into the nation's "development energy"

Abstract

The dominance of imported products in the Indonesian E-Commerce market has become a problem in last few years. Prices, and uniqueness that are better than local products cause Indonesian consumers to choose imported products and make local products unable to compete in the E-Commerce market. If this situation is allowed to continue, it will threaten the national interests. For this reason, this research was conducted to show the actions taken by the Indonesian government together with E-Commerce platforms in Indonesia in protecting domestic products from the dominance of imported products in the Indonesian E-Commerce market. This research used qualitative methods, with data collection techniques through library research sourced from books, journals, documents, websites and social media. This research uses the perspective of mercantilism and the theory of protectionism. The results of this research show the application of de minimis value for imported products, digitalization and export programs through E-Commerce, and also the blocking of product categories in Lazada and Shopee as Indonesia's actions in protecting local products with e-commerce platforms. These actions can limit the entry of imported products and reduce the dominance of imported products so that local products can enter and compete in the Indonesian E-Commerce market. Abstract

ABSTRACT Every country in the world will not be separated from debt. Poor countries, developing countries, and even developed countries must have debt, both debt obtained from international organizations that provide debt lending services such as the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and the World Bank as well as loans from other countries such as China. In this study, the author will discuss China as a country that can lend funds to other countries through projects created by the President of China, Xi Jinping. In writing this research, the author uses a qualitative case study method. This approach focuses on investigating and understanding an incident by collecting information and then processing it into a final result that can later be presented. The result of this study is that the mastery of the Hambantota port is of course very detrimental to Sri Lanka, this is because it can be seen that China will be able to freely place a war fleet in the South Asian region which can later trigger war. The acquisition of Hambantota Port by China has been debated by the international community. Keywords: Debt Trap Model, China, Sri Lanka

Abstract

This research analyzes Indonesia's strategy in dealing with the ban on palm oil exports by the European Union. The impact of the dispute makes Indonesian oil palm farmers lose money and affects the national economy which can be said to depend on this commodity. Indonesia then fought for rights in the palm oil trade in the international sphere with the help of the WTO as a mediator. This study uses a qualitative method using existing reading materials as a source of exposure about Indonesian palm oil exports and European Union policies, with data collection techniques through literature studies and document analysis from several books, journals and websites. This study uses the perspective of Liberalism and Policy Theory. This research shows that Indonesia has implemented various measures to increase its palm oil production and exports in the face of European Union policies. Such as holding the 6th Ministerial Meeting CPOPC strongly protested the Renewable Energy Directive II (RED II) Policy and the Delegated Act. Indonesia also carries out promotional activities regarding palm oil and the use of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificates. Indonesia made a Statement with numbers G/TBT/W/565 to the WTO Technical Barriers to Trade Committee which aims to ask for clarification on several matters concerning the EU's RED II. The WTO processed this case by offering a dispute resolution resolution that reduced the obstacles encountered in the palm oil trade. This means that Indonesia won the lawsuit and inevitably the European Union must obey it so that their image in the international community does not become bad.
