Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 Curriculum proclaims the implementation and realization of character education at all levels of education. One of the character values instilled through thematic learning in elementary schools is tolerance. Daily life in this pluralistic life requires students to have an attitude of tolerance so that they can continue to maintain harmony. The rapid flow of globalization through various media today has eroded many of the values and social attitudes that have become the identity of the nation and begun to be replaced with new values. A holistic learning process that emphasizes developing the value of knowledge, attitudes and skills becomes an appropriate learning model, because the learning process also instills attitudes and skills as a counterweight to knowledge intelligence. The background of this research is the low learning outcomes and lack of tolerance of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 29 Nenak Tembulan. This can be seen from the results of their classical learning mastery, only 47.61% of students succeed in achieving KKM mastery. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes and tolerance by applying the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model. The approach in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. The form of the research was classroom action research (CAR), which consisted of two cycles, each cycle involving 21 fourth grade students and one teacher as an observer. The research data was obtained through teacher and student observation, test questions, questionnaires and documentation. There was an increase in learning outcomes and attitudes of tolerance from cycle I to cycle II. Increased cognitive learning outcomes in cycle I with an average mastery of learning outcomes of 71.14% with 66.66% classical completeness and in cycle II 82.21% with 95% classical completeness. Improved affective learning outcomes as measured by a tolerance questionnaire for students in cycle I with an average of 68.14% and cycle II of 76% and psychomotor learning outcomes in cycle I with an average percentage of 67.98% and cycle II with an average percentage 86.5%. Student responses to the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model showed a positive response. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that by applying the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model it can improve learning outcomes and tolerance attitudes of class IV students at SDN 29 Nenak Tembulan in the 2021/2022 academic year.Keywords : Value Clarification Technique, Learning Outcomes, Tolerance

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of elementary school students' low social skills and is influenced by internal and external factors. The focus of the study in this research is the use of the Fan-N-Pick learning model in improving students' social skills in social studies learning. This research aims to improve social skills after using the Fan-N-Pick learning model with elementary school students. The research method uses classroom action research, with the subjects of this research being class IV students at SDN 1 Keberak, totaling 24 students. Data collection tools use observation sheets, test sheets, questionnaires and document sheets with data analysis techniques using interactive analysis form. The results of the research show that using the Fan-N-Pick model can improve students' social skills and learning outcomes in theme 7 subtheme 1 with a very good category, improving students' social skills using the Fan-N-Pick model in cycle I, the observation score obtained was 64. 50% and cycle II 85.67%, resulting in an increase of 21.17%. Meanwhile, students' responses to using the Fan-N-Pick model were also very good and received positive responses based on interview results. It was concluded that the Fan-N-Pick learning model can improve elementary school students' social skills in social studies learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan waktuk belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota (2) mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan tempat belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota (3) mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan norma belajar siswa pad masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota. Narasumber yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah SDN 14 Pala Kota, guru kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif metode yang digunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teknik analisis data model Milen and Huberman yaitu reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, kedisiplinan waktu belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota mengalami penurunan disiplin dalam belajar dan terlambat dalam mengumpulkan tugas. Kedua, kedisiplinan tempat belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota memiliki perbedaan tempat antara belajar di sekolah dan di rumah karena perbedaan tempat belajar sangat mempengaruhi kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Ketiga, kedisiplinan norma belajar siswa pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas IV SDN 14 Pala Kota memiliki peraturan dan tata tertib yang berbeda antara di sekolah dan di rumah. Peraturan yang dibuat berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama dan mengharuskan siswa untuk menaatinya. Guru dan siswa mengkondisikan dirinya dengan situasi pandemi covid-19 yang membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi terhambat dan mengharuskan siswa memiliki kedisiplinan belajar agar tetap terkontrol dengan baik.Kata kunci: Kedisiplinan Belajar, Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

service activities in 2023 were carried out in Martiguna village, Sintang sub-district, Sintang district, West Kalimantan. This service activity raises the theme of financial management for teenagers who drop out of school or are unemployed. They will be given training in financial management of a business with the aim that these teenage dropouts can start their own business. This training on financial management of a business is carried out due to the difficulty of employment at this time, so that rural communities, especially those who drop out of school or are unemployed, can have the knowledge to start a business both in terms of capital, financial arrangements and strategies for starting a business.

Abstract

Program Kampus Mengajar merupakan salah satu bentuk pelaksanaan Merdeka Belajar, Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang berupa asistensi mengajar untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa dalam membantu proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar di berbagai Desa/Kota, salah satunya adalah SDN 11 Umin yang bertempat di Dedai, Kabupaten Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. Pada program ini, mahasiswa yang terlibat memiliki tanggung jawab dalam membantu  guru dalam teknologi pendidikan dalam proses pengajaran, memfasilitasi adaptasi teknologi termasuk pemanfaatan media pembelajaran elektronik, serta mendukung mendukung kegiatan operasional sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran mahasiswa daalam meningkatan media pembelajaran elektronik di SDN 11 Umin. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran elektronik dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman materi, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang interaktif. Program ini juga memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 dalam mengembangkan keterampilan mengajar dan beradaptasi dengan teknologi.Kata Kunci : Kampus Merdeka, Kampus Mengajar, Pemanfaatan Media PembelajaranElekronik.

Abstract

Satuan pendidikan guru perlu menghasilkan outcomes yang mumpuni baik secara pengetahuan maupun keterampilan sehingga perlu adanya kegiatan penyuluhan pendidikan bagi calon guru tentang keterampilan mengajar sebagai bentuk mitigasi pendidikan. Tujuan penyuluhan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam lingkup pendidikan dan pengajaran pada kajian keterampilan mengajar. Penyuluhan pendidikan kepada 206 calon guru sebelum diterjunkan ke satuan pendidikan yaitu Sekolah Dasar. Keterampilan mengajar yang menjadi fokus penyuluhan pendidikan yaitu keterampilan dasar yang memuat, antara lain: 1) keterampilan membuka pembelajaran, 2) keterampilan menjelaskan, 3) keterampilan mengadakan variasi, 4) keterampilan bertanya, 5) keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok, 6) keterampilan mengajar kelompok kecil dan perorangan, 7) keterampilan mengelola kelas, 8) keterampilan memberi penguatan, 9) keterampilan menggunakan media/alat, dan 10) keterampilan menutup pembelajaran. Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan pendidikan ini, diharapkan calon guru mempunyai pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang menjadi bekal saat terjun ke lapangan persekolahan sekaligus sebagai bentuk minitigasi kurikulum.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum (IC) in Indonesia requires realizing the Pancasila student profile (PSP) at all education levels, including elementary schools (ES). Project-based learning (PjBL) is a suitable model for achieving PSP but needs reinforcement, particularly in fostering attitude and character values. Integrating the noble values of Dayak culture into PjBL is identified as a relevant approach to strengthen PSP. This study explores the perceptions of Dayak culture actors and primary education stakeholders on implementing PjBL in ES to enhance PSP. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 key informants and analyzed thematically using NVivo software. Findings are categorized into three aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of PjBL. Planning focuses on defining learning outcomes, developing tools, and ensuring student readiness. Implementation involves a 5-step PjBL process integrated with Dayak cultural values, emphasizing honesty, religion, collaboration, kinship, creativity, and independence. Challenges include limited cultural and PjBL literacy, insufficient stakeholder collaboration, and inadequate monitoring during PjBL activities. These issues need addressing to optimize PjBL effectiveness in strengthening PSP.

Abstract

AbstractThis community service activity aims to utilize plastic waste from school canteens as the primary material for creating handcrafted keychains by elementary school students in Silat Hilir District. Plastic waste is one of the most commonly produced and non-biodegradable types of waste; therefore, creative efforts are needed to reduce its negative impact on the environment. This activity was designed as both an environmental education program and a skills-training initiative for students through a simple recycling process. The method used involved practical (hands-on) activities and demonstrations, in which students directly participated in collecting plastic waste, cleaning, cutting, designing, and assembling the keychains. This community service program was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Silat Hilir and SD Negeri 2 Silat Hilir with a total of 48 fifth-grade students. The results showed that students were able to produce various attractive and usable keychain designs. Additionally, the activity had positive impacts, including increased creativity, environmental awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively in groups. Thus, the utilization of school canteen plastic waste into handcrafted keychains not only contributes to waste reduction but also plays a role in developing the character and skills of elementary school students.Keywords : plastic waste, handicrafts, keychain, recycling, elementary school students Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan sampah plastik yang berasal dari kantin sekolah sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan kerajinan tangan berupa keychain (gantungan kunci) oleh siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Silat Hilir. Sampah plastik merupakan salah satu jenis limbah yang paling banyak dihasilkan dan sulit terurai, sehingga diperlukan upaya kreatif untuk mengurangi dampak negatifnya terhadap lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dirancang sebagai bentuk edukasi lingkungan sekaligus pelatihan keterampilan bagi siswa melalui proses daur ulang sederhana. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan praktikum (praktik langsung) dan demonstrasi, di mana siswa dilibatkan langsung dalam pengumpulan sampah plastik, proses pembersihan, pemotongan, pembentukan desain, hingga perakitan keychain. Kegiatan PK ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Silat Hilir dan SD Negeri 2 Silat Hilir pada siswa kelas V dengan jumlah siswa 48 orang siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menghasilkan berbagai bentuk keychain yang menarik dan layak digunakan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan kreativitas, kesadaran lingkungan, serta kemampuan bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan sampah plastik kantin sekolah menjadi kerajinan tangan keychain tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pengurangan sampah, tetapi juga berperan dalam pengembangan karakter dan keterampilan siswa sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci : sampah plastik, kerajinan tangan, keychain, daur ulang, siswa sekolah dasar
