Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai – nilai esensial prestasi, sosial, dan budaya yang ada pada olahraga pacuan kuda tradisional Gayo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan di kabupaten Bener Meriah, Aceh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Kadis Pariwisata Bener Meriah, pemilik kuda, joki pacuan kuda, dan masyarakat Bener Meriah jumlah keseluruhan 20 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang diperoleh di analisis dengan analisis bersifat kualitatif dengan deskriptif analitik non statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai – nilai prestasi, sosial, dan budaya yang terkandung dalam kegiatan perlombaan pacuan kuda tradisional Gayo terdapat nilai kompetitif, nilai relegius, nilai adat istiadat, nilai pendidikan moral yang berupa sportivitas, jujur, dan tanggung jawab dalam menjalankan proses latihan yang diberikan. Selain itu terdapat nilai silaturahmi bagi sesama warga di Bener Meriah, Aceh Tengah serta Gayo Lues, juga ekonomi yang dapat membangkitkan pendapatan masyarakat dan daerah Bener Meriah. Keywords: Nilai, Prestasi, Sosial, Budaya, Pacuan Kuda Tradisional Gayo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jawaban yang akurat secara ilmiah dalam evaluasi program Pelatda hockey putri Sumatera utara menuju PON Jawa Barat 2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Federasi Hockey Indonesia(FHI) Sumatera Utara yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan model Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). Sampel sebanyak 25 orang dengan cara total sampling yaitu Pengprov FHI Sumatera Utara, Pelatih dan atlit. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner, angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan empat variabel yang dievaluasi. Evaluasi context menunjukkan kebutuhan program, alas an dibuatnya program, kelayakan sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan serta tujuan program yang perlu diperbaiki kembali. Evaluasi Input dari ketercapaian indikator pengurus, pelatih, atlet adalah : (1) Pedoman / Petunjuk Program Pelatda 79%, (2) Prestasi Hockey 79%, (3) Sumber Daya Atlet 79.5%, (4) Sarana dan Prasarana 80.5%,Evaluasi process ketercapaian indikator pengurus, pelatihdanatletadalah : (1) Program Latihan 78%, Keterlaksanaan Fungsi Manajemen Pelatda 80%,Try Out 79%, (2) dan Evaluasi latihan 83%.Hasil PON menurut Pengurus dan Pelatih 76%, (2) dan Hasil PON menurut Atlet 93%. Kata kunci : Evaluasi, PELATDA, Hockey Putri SUMUT.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the importance of physical conditions in influencing passing accuracy. The purpose of the study was to determine the direct effect of eye and foot coordination, strength on speed in soccer games. The method used in this research is descriptive and varied methods, the research sample is 30 people. The instruments used are passing accuracy test instruments, eye and foot coordination tests, strength tests using a leg and back dynamometer. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. This study involves 3 independent variables whose influence on the dependent variable will be investigated, namely soccer passing accuracy (X4), the independent variables are eye and foot coordination (X1), strength (X2) and speed (X3). Research Results: 1. There is a direct effect of eye and foot coordination on speed in soccer games. 2. There is an indirect effect of strength on speed in soccer games. 3. There is an indirect effect of eye and foot coordination on passing accuracy in soccer games. 4. There is a direct influence of strength on passing accuracy in soccer games. 5. There is an indirect effect of soccer speed on passing accuracy in soccer games. 6. There is an indirect effect of eye-foot coordination on strength in soccer games. 7. There is a direct effect of eye-foot coordination through strength on passing accuracy in soccer games. 8. There is a direct effect of eye-foot coordination through speed on passing accuracy in soccer games. 9. Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the impact of sports infrastructure and the pedagogical competence of physical education (PE) teachers on the interest in volleyball among junior high school students in Medan City, Indonesia. With a focus on addressing the sedentary lifestyle prevalent among adolescents, the research aims to contribute to the enhancement of sports education by examining these key factors. Employing a structured questionnaire and utilizing SPSS version 27 for data analysis, the study analyzed responses from 54 participants through t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R-square) tests. Findings indicate that both the quality of sports infrastructure and the competence of PE teachers significantly influence students' sports interest. Specifically, well-maintained facilities and skilled educators were found to collectively account for 67.1% of the variance in sports interest, highlighting their pivotal roles in promoting physical activities. The study underscores the need for a holistic approach in sports education, emphasizing the development of sports facilities and the enhancement of teacher training to foster a more inclusive and engaging sports culture among students.

Abstract

used by the Indonesian National Sports Committee of North Sumatra Province in carrying out the regional training center for athletes at the XXI National Sports Week in Papua in 2021. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. 6 People consist of 4 components in Pelatda activities, namely the Head of Pelatda, Wasping, Trainers, and Athletes, using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study show that the communication strategy used by KONI North Sumatra is very good, so it has a very important role in creating outstanding athletes in PON activities. The communication strategy used is to communicate directly to create closeness and establish good communication between all components of Pelatda.

Abstract

Masase kebugaran untuk anak-anak (terapi sentuh) adalah suatu seni gerak tangan yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kesenangan, rasa nyaman dan memelihara kesehatan dan kebugaran jasmani yang diperuntukkan untuk anak-anak. Gerak tangan secara mekanis ini akan menimbulkan rasa tenang dan nyaman bagi penerimanya. Selama masase berlangsung, irama gerakan masase menimbulkan daya hipnotis dan suasana rileks yang terjadi selanjutnya akan menghasilkan perasaan lebih nyaman, enak, tenteram dan merasa lebih sehat. Masase dapat diberikan kepada semua orang, laki-laki, perempuan, tua, muda, dewasa maupun anak-anak. Masase pada anak-anak akan dapat membantu proses pertumbuhan, perkembangannya serta meningkatkan kekebalan tubuhnya. Melalui kegiatan pendampingan masase kebugaran untuk anak-anak (terapi sentuh) Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa yang akan dilaksanakan pada kelompok guru-guru PJOK sekolah dasar (SD) adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masase kebugaran bagi anak-anak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk : 1) meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra tentang keterampilan masase kebugaran untuk anak-anak. 2) melatih mitra untuk dapat melaksanakan kegiatan masasse kebugaran untuk anak-anak secara mandiri. 3) menjadikan program masasse pada anak-anak sebagai usaha baru bagi mitra. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah berkembangnya tim mitra dengan bertambahnya kemampuan dalam program masasse kebugaran pada anak-anak dan dapat menjadi contoh bagi sekolah dasar yang lain dalam hal pengembangan usaha kesehatan bagi sekolah, keluarga dan mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dosen dalam dan mahasiswa UNIMED dalam kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Anak penyandang disabilitas intelektual sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memori jangka pendek, yang berdampak signifikan pada kemampuan belajar mereka. Keterbatasan ini dapat menghambat perkembangan kognitif dan adaptasi sosial mereka dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak senam otak terhadap peningkatan kemampuan memori jangka pendek pada anak penyandang disabilitas intelektual ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif,  Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimental dengan pre-test dan post-test tanpa kelompok kontrol, melibatkan 30 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Kemampuan memori jangka pendek diukur menggunakan subtes Digit Span Forward dari Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fourth Edition (WISC-IV) sebelum dan setelah intervensi selama 8 minggu. Intervensi berupa latihan senam otak diberikan dengan frekuensi 3 kali seminggu, masing-masing sesi berdurasi 30 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara rerata skor pre-test dan post-test, dengan peningkatan pada kategori baik menjadi dan penurunan pada kategori cukup setelah intervensi. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa senam otak dapat menjadi intervensi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif, khususnya memori jangka pendek, pada anak penyandang disabilitas intelektual ringan. Implementasi rutin senam otak dalam kurikulum pendidikan khusus dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kemampuan belajar dan adaptasi sosial anak-anak ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between problem-based learning models, project-based learning models, and learning interests in football dribbling learning outcomes. The research method is experimental. The design of this study is an experimental design with a level of 2 x 2. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. The number of research samples was 40 people with each group totaling 10 people. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, anova test and tukey test. Based on the results of the research, Fh > Ft was obtained which was 4.17 > 4.06. So the overall conclusion can be drawn that there is an influence of dribbling learning outcomes in football games between problem-based learning and project-based learning. 2) Fh > Ft obtained is 78.37 > 4.06. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an interaction between the learning model and learning interest on the learning outcomes of dribbling 3) It is obtained that Qh = 20.47 and Qt = 2.81 can be concluded that students taught with problem-based learning with high student learning interest are better than students taught with project-based learning with high student learning interest. 4) Qh = 13.65 and Qt = 2.81 were obtained and based on these results, it can be concluded that students taught with project-based learning with low student learning interest are better than students taught with problem-based learning with low student learning interest.

Abstract

This community service activity was aimed to assist athletic coaches in Langkat in designing training programs using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) model. The method used included training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. A total of 20 coaches participated in practical sessions to use sport science tools and understand athlete talent identification. The result showed significant improvement in understanding coaching techniques and application of SMART methods, as shown by the pre-post training assessment. The outcome enhanced the ability of coaches to develop structured programs based on measurable parameters. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi pelatih atletik di Langkat dalam menyusun program latihan berbasis model SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, dan Time-bound). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Sebanyak 20 pelatih mengikuti kegiatan praktik pemanfaatan alat sport science dan memahami identifikasi bakat atlet. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelatih secara signifikan setelah pelatihan. Program ini meningkatkan kemampuan pelatih dalam merancang latihan yang terstruktur dan berbasis data.
