Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menndeskripsikan dan menganalisis (1) pengambilan keputusan manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung kinerja guru kinerja guru SMK Pancasila di kota Purwodadi, (2) peran kepemimpinan yang diterapkan manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung kinerja guru SMK Pancasila di kota Purwodadi. (3) pendelegasian kewenangan yang diterapkan manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung kinerja guru SMK Pancasila di kota Purwodadi.(4) kontribusi signifikan gaya kepemimpinan manajemen sekolah dalam mendukung kinerja guru SMK Pancasila di kota Purwodadi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Perolehan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian meliputi: (1) Pengambilan keputusan manajemen kepala sekolah mempunyai peran sangat tinggi pengambilan kebijakan dan bersifat terpusat pada kepala sekolah yang mempunyai kewenangan (2) Peran kepala sekolah, kebijakan dan aturan baku merupakan motivasi dalam pembinaan terhadap guru, untuk mengukur kelemahan dan kelebihan kinerja (3) Karakteristik pendelegasian wewenang dan kontrol delegasi mempunyai kewenangan mutlak pada atasan dengan komunikasi langsung satu arah dari pimpinan kepada bawahan baik itu pengawasan terhadap tingkah laku, perbuatan, atau kegiatan para bawahannya dilakukan secara ketat, (4) Peran dan Kontribusi Gaya Kepemimpinan Otokratif manajemen sekolaah mempunyai power dalam membuat dan memutuskan suatu kebijakan selama itu demi kebaikan sekolah dan kemajuan prestasi. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze (1) decision making of school management in supporting teacher performance of SMK Pancasila teacher performance in Purwodadi city, (2) leadership role applied by school management in support of teacher performance of SMK Pancasila in Purwodadi city. (3) delegation of authority applied by school management in support of teacher performance of SMK Pancasila in Purwodadi city (4) significant contribution of leadership style of school management in supporting teacher performance of SMK Pancasila in Purwodadi city. The approach of this research is descriptive qualitative in the form of case study. Data acquisition is done by in-depth interview, participatory observation, and document study. The results of the study include: (1) Principal management decision making has a very high role of policy making and is centralized on the principal who has authority (2) The role of principals, policies and rules is a motivation in the guidance of teachers, to measure the weaknesses and advantages Performance (3) Characteristics of delegation of authority and control of delegation have absolute authority on the boss with direct one-way communication from the leadership to subordinates whether the supervision of the behavior, deeds or activities of subordinates is done strictly, (4) Roles and Contribution of Autocratic Leadership Style Management sekolaah have the power in making and deciding a policy during that for the good of school and progress achievement.

Abstract

The research aims to describe (1) planning; (2) realization; and (3) supervision of boarding school on students’ character building in An-Nawawiyyah Islamic Junior High School Rembang. The method of this research uses qualitative approach. The data sources are from informant (vice headmaster, teachers, caretaker/Islamic preacher, and students), observation and document. The data collection technique is by using interview, observation, and documentation. In addition, the data testing technique is done by triangulation. Besides, the data analysis technique is by using some phases consisting of data reduction, data showing, and verification. The research result showed that the service of character building of An-Nawawiyyah Islamic Junior High School Rembang students was integrated in the students’ activities in the classroom and outside the classroom. All policy was planned by the school and Islamic boarding school. The planning of integrated character education between school curriculum and Islamic boarding school program is done by determining executing team of character building namely Islamic preacher of Islamic boarding school. The scheduling and the programming of character building in organization were realized in form of cooperation among schools’ community and Islamic Junior High School. The realization was integrated in every student’s activities. The supervision was addressed to the implementation of students’ discipline regulation. From the research result, it can be concluded that character building of An-Nawawiyyah Islamic Junior High School Rembang students is not separated from the role of boarding school. Boarding school of An-Nawawiyyah Islamic Junior High School Rembang can build the attitude of politeness, discipline, honesty, responsibility, independence, nationalism, and environmental caring.

Abstract

Teachers’ performance is an urgent matter to achieve the quality of Indonesian education. All of schools have target to get optimal teachers’ performance. Thus, it is important as a teacher to know the determinants on teachers’ performance. Some of the determinants on teachers’ performance in the study are principal’s leadership, cultural organization, competence, and job satisfaction. The study aims to analyze the influences of principals’ leadership, competence, and organizational culture on teachers’ performance through job satisfaction in private junior high school especially Southern Brebes. The population of the study was 108 teachers (S.1 degree) of four schools and 78 teachers as a sample which was taken by Slovin formula where e = 6% (0.06) and the sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Furthermore, data collection used questionnaire and data analysis technique used a path analysis for hypotheses test with SPSS (statistical packages of social scientists) for Windows version 23.0 application computer program with level of significance at 0.05. The results of the study found that principals’ leadership, cultural organization and competence have positive and significant influences on teachers’ performance with job satisfaction as mediation. It means that rising of principals’ leadership, organizational culture and competence will influence on job satisfaction, thus teachers’ performance will increase too. Therefore, the suggestion for teachers that they should able to increase teachers’ performance. It is an effort to improve the progress of Indonesian education.

Abstract

Education is seen as one aspect that plays an important role in shaping the character for future generations. School is one of the educational environment. At school, students receive an academic and non-academic education so that they behave well in accordance with school rules and norms. However, in reality in school, there are still students who behave deviant. The purpose of this study is to analyze the form of deviant behavior of students, factors causing students to behave deviant and the prevention of teachers in schools in preventing and overcoming deviant behavior in students. This study used a qualitative approach to case studies by examining the behavior of deviant students in one of the schools located in Indramayu District. The data were collected from 14 informants, consisting of principals, Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers, two Social Sciences (IPS) teachers, Civics teachers, and nine students. The data collecting by observation is done by observation of the students, the interview is done by dialogue directly by involving the school also some students and parents and documentation by using data contained in school. Data analysis uses data interaction. From the results of data processing obtained research results that show that there are deviant behaviors performed by a small number of students, in the form of a brawl, ditching, and alcohol/illegal drugs. The student's deviant behavior is caused by incomplete socialization factor in the form of incomplete family and unharmonious family, and deviant subcultural factors that influence the school environment, peer influence, and mass media influence. The prevention done by teachers during this time includes preventive, repressive, and curative action.

Abstract

The development of social attitudes through cooperative learning methods to improve the social attitudes of discipline, responsibility and cooperation in Public Junior High School 1 Batang is needed in the social studies learning a process which is caused by violations of the discipline of students by them. The purpose of this research is to analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation, and impact of the use of cooperative learning methods for the development of social attitudes in social studies education subjects at Public Junior High School 1 Batang. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class VII Public Junior High School 1 Batang. Data collection research is carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Research data were analyzed by interactive data analysis models. The results of research that the development of social attitudes through cooperative learning methods in social studies education subjects were applied appropriately, both in planning according to the syllabus that had been developed, implementation supported by media and learning resources, and learning evaluation so as to create a fun, open, democratic and conducive learning atmosphere which has a positive impact on the development of discipline, cooperation and responsibility. The conclusion of this research is the development of social attitudes of students in social studies education learning seen from the teacher's process of arranging planning, implementing learning, evaluating so that it has a positive impact for class VII students in Public Junior High School 1 Batang for discipline, responsibility and cooperation in the form of habituation in class and school environment.

Abstract

The educated unemployment in Indonesia caused by some factors such as the lack of knowledge and skill or soft skill as well as lack of job training so that the graduates become unemployment who do not have readiness to work. The purpose of the study is to know and analyze the influence of enterpreneurship knowledge, soft skill and job training to job readiness. The method used the survey, description, and correlation. Students of SMK Karya Bhakti grade eleventh. The sample of the research is 80 respondents by using proportional random sampling. The method of data collecting is by using quesionnaires. The data are analyzed by using linier regression. The result of the research shows that there is an influence of enterpreneurship knowledge to job readiness, partially obtained value of 6.484, the effect of soft skill on the job readiness is 1.498, and the influence of job training to job readiness partially obtained value of 2.205. simultaneously the influence of enterpreneurship knowledge, soft skill, job training on job readiness based on F test obtained value 17.330

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of professional competence on the performance of economic teachers, professional competence on the performance of economic teachers through work motivation, work environment on teacher economic performance, work environment on teacher economic performance through work motivation, and work motivation on teacher economic performance. Analytical techniques used descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence of professional competence on teacher economic performance of 17.8%. Professional competence on teacher economy performance through work motivation is 28%. Working environment on teacher economics performance amounted to 41.2%. Work environment on teacher economy performance through work motivation of 77.7%. Motivation of work on teacher economic performance equal to 48,2%. The conclusion of this study is the teacher performance is getting better when the professional competence of a teacher is better, the total value is greater than the direct influence of professional competence to the economic teachers performance, the better working environment makes the better teacher economic performance, the total value is greater than the direct influence of the work environment to the economic teacher performance, and the more economic teachers have a high work motivation, the better their performance.

Abstract

The attitude of independence for students in Islamic boarding schools is a value manifested in behavior (attitude) that is formed through entrepreneurial practice activities. One aspect that encourages the success of students in developing an attitude of independence is called entrepreneurship education. This research approach was qualitative with descriptive analysis method, one of them with a case study. The objective of the research are 1) to describee and analyze the curriculum design of boarding school. 2) to describe and analyze learning methods in Islamic Boarding School. 3) to describe and analyze the development of entrepreneurial independence attitudes for students. The result of the study are: 1) there is no entrepreneurship curiculum at Islamic boarding school, but the students directly go to the field to doing practice; 2) entrepreneurship learning methods are delivered directly by teachers to the students; 3) the development of students independence attitude includes discipline, honesty, responsibility, action-oriented.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of commercial banks in MSME financing before and after the existence of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 17/12/PBI/2015 in Indonesia. The data used in this study was data originating from 52 commercial banks that were recorded in the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The data analysis technique used in this study is a non-parametric method with a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach with input variables consisting of financial capital, third-party funds, operational costs, and the output variable used is MSME financing. The results showed that before the existence of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 17/12/PBI/2015 there were seven commercial banks that were efficient in financing MSMEs, and after that regulation, there were twelve efficient commercial banks in financing MSMEs. The results showed that the significance value of 0.955 was greater when compared with the alpha value of 0.05. This proves that there is no difference in efficiency before and after the existence of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 17/12/PBI/2015.

Abstract

Consumer behavior in general is a study of how someone decides to buy or consume a product. The influence of peer groups towards student’s consumption behavior can be seen through their daily lives. Among them are by having the same brand of goods such as cellphones, shoes, watches, accessories; watching the same movies that they consider to be good; idolizing the same actors and actresses; and consuming the same foods and drinks. Those behaviour indicate the influence of peer groups on student’s consumption behavior. It becomes problematic because the consumption behavior done by most of these students often cause economic problems for their families, their first environment before entering school. This phenomenon of student’s consumption behavior becomes more interesting considering into what extent economics knowledge they get in school being implemented in their daily decision makings. Factors influencing the consumption behavior of high school students in Pemalang Regency were suspected to be family, school and peer groups. The method of analysis used in this study was path analysis using Amoss software. The calculation results showed that students’ engagement had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 2.647, peer groups had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 5.446, family environment had no significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 1.322 (smaller than 1.96), the school environment had a significant influence on student’s consumption behavior with a CR value of 3.276. This study used data from Dapodik Academic Year 2018/2019 of Social Science students of Public Senior High Schools in Pemalang Regency.
