Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the effect of inquiry-based learning models on students' physics learning outcomes. This research uses a type of quasi-experimental research by taking the subject of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium. Samples were taken using random sampling techniques which obtained class XI MIPA 2 as an experimental class and class MIPA 1 as a control class. Data collection for learning outcomes data was carried out with a multiple-choice test technique of 30 questions. Data analysis using objective learning outcomes test instruments obtained with an experimental class average of 21.68 and a control class average of 18.17, with an experimental class standard deviation of 4.54 and a control class standard deviation of 6.16 (significant < 0.05). With a significance of less than 0.05, this shows that there was an influence on the experimental class and the control class on, so it can be concluded that the application of the Inquiry Based Learning model has an influence on the physical learning outcomes of students

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of the Taklim Council in countering radical ideas centered on mosques which have recently been rampant in the city of Medan. The mosque is a house of worship as well as a place for the transmission of knowledge as well as a center for social activities for Muslims, one of the institutions that often uses mosques as a place for transmitting knowledge is the Taklim Council. This type of research is a qualitative research that is descriptive research. The results of this study are: 1. The efforts of the Ministry of Religion of Medan City in fostering the Taklim Council in Medan, include the following: 1) Providing Legal Status, 2) Guiding the Taklim Council by Non-PNS Religious Counselors in the form of: (1) Administrative coaching, ( 2) Religious Development. 2. The pattern of community empowerment managed by the taklim assembly in Medan , including: First, strengthening in the management of the Mosque Welfare Board (BKM). Second, the implementation of the Da'wah of the Muballigh (lecturers) through the determination of lecture material. Third, fundraising from members of the BKM / Taklim Council and the congregation of the mosque in general. Fourth, inventory management in the form of facilities and infrastructure owned by BKM / Taklim Council within the framework of community empowerment. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the comparative influence of the PBL model and the STEAM-based PBL model on improving the science process skills of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Medan students. By applying the STEAM-based PBL model in learning activities, students' science process skills are formed, thus giving students a new learning style in participating in physics learning. The research was conducted to see the effect of the STEAM-based PBL model on improving the science process skills of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Medan students. This research used a quasi-experiment, the sample for this research was taken using random sampling technique for class XI MIPA which consisted of an experimental class and a control class. The t-test obtained with tcount > ttable (3.75 > 0.721) with a significance level of α=5% (0.05). So H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that on average the experimental class is better, and the STEAM-based Problem Based Learning model has an influence on students' science process skills with a sufficient index category (70.59).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji efek model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) yang dibantu oleh media PhET terhadap pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Terapan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa semester pertama yang mengambil mata kuliah Fisika Terapan di Prodi Nautika. Mahasiswa dibagi menjadi dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan bantuan media PhET, dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman konsep yang telah divalidasi dan diuji reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep antara kedua kelas. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan bantuan media PhET menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI yang didukung oleh media PhET efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Terapan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pendidik mempertimbangkan penerapan model pembelajaran ini dalam proses pengajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model on students' physics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design on the subject matter of Effort and Energy. The population in this study were all X MIA class students by taking two classes as samples, namely X MIA-4 experimental class and X MIA-3 control class, random sampling technique. The experimental class received treatment using the SAVI learning model, while the control class used the Direct Instruction model. The learning outcomes test is 29 multiple choice questions with 5 different answer options that have been tested for validation and reliability first, then testing the hypothesis using the t-test. From the results of data analysis, the average score of the experimental class was 23.06 with a standard deviation of 3.83 while the control class was 18.41 with a standard deviation of 4.59. Based on the normality test obtained Lcount < Ltable = 0.151 < 0.159 and 0.155 < 0.156 the data is declared normally distributed. Homogeneity test ????count ≤ ????table = 0.720 < 1.828 states the sample is homogeneous. The t-test results tcount > ttable = 4.09 > 1.670 so that H1 is accepted. Based on these data that there is a significant effect of SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model on student physics learning outcomes in class X MIA MAS Muallimin Univa Medan

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar memiliki peran strategis dalam pembinaan generasi muda, di mana keterlibatan orang tua sangat penting dalam mendukung proses belajar dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Namun, komunikasi antara guru dan orang tua seringkali terbatas, terutama ketika menggunakan platform WhatsApp, yang tidak optimal untuk kerjasama yang terstruktur. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 101874 Tumpatan Nibung untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dengan memanfaatkan Google Sites sebagai Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis web. Melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, dan pendampingan, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan guru dan orang tua dalam mendukung pembelajaran siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta, yang sebelumnya belum familiar dengan Google Sites, menjadi sangat berminat dan puas dengan program ini, serta merasakan manfaat praktis dalam penggunaannya. Pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung literasi siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Covid 19 has caused setbacks in several sectors, including the economic sector. Covid 19 has had a lot of bad impacts on the economic sector such as many layoffs, many prohibitions in carrying out activities outside so that these things cause a decline in the economic sector. So that with the impact, the KKN-PPM team initiated the implementation of creating a healthy environment which is a dream for all communities. This KKN-PPM activity was carried out for 3 weeks where lecturers collaborated with students to create a live plant pharmacy and mini fruit garden for the people of Bengkel village. This pharmacy of live plants such as ginger, turmeric, lemongrass and cassava trees as well as mango, dragon fruit and guava fruit plants. The placement of this plant on the side of the roadside of the Protocol of Perbaungan District, Bengkel Village The goal is to make the environment comfortable. Even though it is a coronavirus pandemic, it does not hinder community service activities on the campus of the University Muslim Nusnatara Al-Washliyah. This activity ran smoothly and very well, because it was supported by the village head and the people of Perbaungan sub-district of Bengkel village

Abstract

Keterampilan berkolaborasi merupakan kompetensi esensial dalam pembelajaran abad 21 yang perlu ditumbuhkan sejak dini dalam jenjang pendidikan. Namun, hasil observasi awal di Kelas V UPT SDN 066666 Medan Denai menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa masih rendah yang ditandai dengan kurangnya kerja kelompok, keraguan dalam mengemukakan pendapat, dan minimnya partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) pada mata pelajaran Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berdasarkan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas V tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang berjumlah 16 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa secara signifikan. Pada tahap pratindakan, persentase rata-rata keterampilan berkolaborasi sebesar 49,4% (kategori kurang), meningkat menjadi 68,1% pada Siklus I (kategori cukup) dan mencapai 86,25% pada Siklus II (kategori baik). Semua indikator bekerja sama, mengemukakan pendapat, mendengarkan pendapat orang lain, dan mengambil keputusan secara kolaboratif menunjukkan peningkatan yang positif. Dengan demikian, penerapan model TPS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Pancasila.

Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the effectiveness of the PBL model in enhancing students' CTS in physics education. It explores recent innovations, including digital learning tools, authentic assessment, and local cultural contexts.Methodology—This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, guided by the PRISMA framework, to review 18 peer-reviewed articles published between 2014 and 2024. These studies focus on the impact of PBL on students' CTS in physics education.Findings – The findings show that PBL consistently improves students' CTS, with N-Gain values ranging from moderate to high (0.36–0.73). PBL outperformed models like Discovery Learning, Reciprocal Learning, and Demonstration Methods, though the OR-IPA model performed better in some contexts, fostering higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Innovations in PBL materials, such as worksheets, modules, E-LKPD, PhET simulations, and interactive multimedia, demonstrated high validity (0.82–0.93) and effectiveness in supporting Learning. PhET simulations and interactive multimedia helped students understand abstract physics concepts and enhanced critical thinking.Contribution—This study highlights the importance of integrating technology, local wisdom, and web-based Learning in PBL to enhance its effectiveness. It also provides practical recommendations for educators, including developing technology-based materials, teacher training, and improved access to learning resources like computers and the Internet
