Abstract

Literacy is one of the challenges in Indonesia. Statistics show that 71% of the 34 provinces in Indonesia have a low literacy rate. Recently, another form of literacy has emerged, known as religion, which is believed to be a powerful model for facing the challenges of the 21st century. Literacy is a form of reading and writing that aims to improve religious understanding. Many researchers say that literacy, especially in elementary schools, often not taken into account by researchers. With that, this researcher strengthens students' religious literacy through digital media, the material presented is the casting of fairy tale videos. In this learning, it will be the attraction of children in the government; and can improve children in religious understanding without having to look at the guidebook. In this literacy media, it is also able to strengthen students' religious literacy by mastering the exemplary stories of prophets and applications This example in the context of his daily life.

Abstract

This study develops a culturally grounded Islamic education management model tailored for the Muslim convert community of the Outer Baduy Tribe in Banten Province, Indonesia. The model is implemented through the Paket School program, which serves as an alternative pathway to formal education. By integrating Islamic values with local cultural principles such as honesty, cooperation, simplicity, and collective responsibility, the model ensures that Islamic teachings are accepted without causing cultural resistance. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, involving 35 key participants, including traditional leaders, Paket School educators, and community members from three main villages. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and were analysed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the educational management system in the Outer Baduy community is flexible, participatory, and culturally relevant. The alignment of Islamic education with local customs through adaptive scheduling, the use of the local dialect in instruction, and community participation has proven effective in promoting both educational and behavioural outcomes. The success of the Paket School program in fostering Islamic identity and strengthening cultural values highlights the importance of integrating local wisdom into educational management. However, the study's focus on a single community and the short observation period limit the ability to generalise the findings. Future research should explore similar models in other indigenous communities, using longitudinal or mixed-methods approaches to gain deeper insights into the long-term effects of culturally grounded educational management. This research contributes to the development of inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable educational practices for marginalised and indigenous communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas pembiasaan sholat dhuha dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MI Al Manar Karawang. Disiplin merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini, terutama di lingkungan sekolah, untuk membentuk karakter yang baik dan meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa. Sholat dhuha dipilih sebagai kegiatan rutin karena diyakini dapat membantu mengembangkan disiplin waktu dan tanggung jawab siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis dokumen terkait program pembiasaan sholat dhuha. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 guru dan 30 siswa MI Al Manar Karawang. Observasi dilakukan selama dua bulan untuk melihat pelaksanaan dan dampak kegiatan sholat dhuha terhadap kedisiplinan siswa. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan untuk menggali pandangan dan pengalaman partisipan mengenai program ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan sholat dhuha secara signifikan meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa. Siswa yang rutin mengikuti sholat dhuha menunjukkan peningkatan dalam ketepatan waktu, tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, dan keteraturan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Guru juga melaporkan adanya perubahan positif dalam sikap dan perilaku siswa, seperti meningkatnya semangat belajar dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan sekolah. Selain itu, pemberian sanksi bagi siswa yang tidak mengikuti sholat dhuha tanpa alasan yang jelas juga efektif dalam memperkuat komitmen mereka terhadap disiplin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembiasaan sholat dhuha di MI Al Manar Karawang berhasil menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa secara signifikan. Program ini tidak hanya membantu siswa menjadi lebih disiplin dalam hal ibadah, tetapi juga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan karakter mereka secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, penerapan kegiatan religius seperti sholat dhuha dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam upaya meningkatkan disiplin di sekolah.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis literatur mutakhir mengenai internalisasi nilai-nilai akhlak melalui keteladanan guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Internalisasi nilai tidak hanya dipahami sebagai transfer pengetahuan normatif, tetapi sebagai proses transformasi yang melibatkan dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku peserta didik secara terintegrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan (library research) terhadap artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional terbitan tahun 2019– 2025. Data dianalisis melalui analisis isi tematik dengan tahapan identifikasi, klasifikasi, komparasi, dan sintesis konseptual. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme internalisasi nilai melalui keteladanan guru berlangsung secara bertahap melalui observasi, identifikasi, penerimaan nilai, refleksi terstruktur, dan habituasi. Efektivitas proses tersebut dipengaruhi oleh konsistensi keteladanan guru di ruang luring dan daring, budaya sekolah yang terprogram, serta integrasi literasi digital berbasis nilai. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada perumusan model integratif internalisasi nilai akhlak yang menggabungkan keteladanan lintas ruang, refleksi terstruktur, dan penguatan budaya sekolah dalam satu kerangka konseptual operasional. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran PAI yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan di era digital.

Abstract

This study discusses the innovation of Qur'anic learning at the elementary school level through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology. The background of this research lies in the low level of students' Qur'anic literacy, which is mainly caused by the limitations of conventional teaching methods and the lack of learning media variations. The research method applied is library research by analyzing various literature related to the implementation of AI in education. The findings show that AI has the potential to enhance the effectiveness, interactivity, and personalization of Qur'anic learning. Examples include speech recognition technology to improve recitation, tahfidz applications to monitor memorization progress, and gamification features to increase students' learning motivation. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teachers' readiness to master technology, and curriculum adaptation remain significant issues. In conclusion, the application of AI in Qur'anic learning is a strategic solution to improve students' Qur'anic literacy while supporting the formation of a Qur'anic generation that is religious, adaptive, and technologically literate.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat berpengaruh dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Pendidikan karakter siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di bidang apapun. Namun pendidikan karakter ini harus dibentuk salah satunya dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter sebagai bagian dari visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga serta berusaha mewujudkannya melalui kegiatan nyata merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk: 1) menganalisa peran agama islam dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, 2) mengevaluasi tantangan yang dihadapi serta solusi yang ditawarkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur yang sangat relevan untuk menyelidiki dan menganalisis peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembentukan karakter dan etika siswa memungkinkan peneliti untuk melakukan tinjauan menyeluruh terhadap literatur yang relevan, seperti jurnal-jurnal, buku, artikel, dan sumber-sumber lain yang telah membahas bagaimana pendidikan agama Islam mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter dan etika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pendidikan agama islam dapat dilakukan dengan melalui; 1)pendidikan dengan keteladanan, 2)pendidikan dengan adat dan kebiasaan, 3)pendidikan dengan nasehat, 4)pendidikan dengan memberikan perhatian, 5)pendidikan dengan memberikan hukuman.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how extracurricular scouting activities at Nurussalam Jayakerta Islamic High School contribute to student character development. This research is driven by the importance of character education in the digital era, which is characterized by the moral degradation of the younger generation as a result of social media and technology. Because scouting activities combine the principles of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, leadership, and nationalism through the implementation of Tri Satya and Dasa Dharma, this activity is considered an effective medium for character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive methodology and collected data through observation, documentation, and interviews. Teachers, students actively participating in scouting activities, and scout leaders were the subjects of the study. According to the research findings, the extracurricular scouting program at Nurussalam Islamic High School serves as a primary tool for overall student character development, in addition to providing extracurricular activities outside the classroom. The character values instilled include religiosity, discipline, accountability, teamwork, leadership, nationalism, and self-control. Adequate facilities, an integrated Islamic boarding school system, and proactive support from the school and its advisors all contributed to the success of this initiative. The school was able to overcome a number of obstacles, including student boredom and a lack of extracurricular activities, by implementing unique and creative programs. Thus, in a contemporary Islamic boarding school setting, scouting activities have proven to be an excellent model for character education.
