Abstract

Di tahun 2024, proses pendidikan di Indonesia sudah dituntut untuk pengaplikasian IPTEK. Siklus air merupakan salahsatu materi pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar di semester genap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media diorama berbasis Augmented Reality pada materi siklus air serta mengungkapkan tingkat validitas dan praktikalitas dari media tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD). Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Ploomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu penelitian awal (Preliminary research), pembentukan prototipe (Prototyping stage), dan tahap penilaian (Assesment phase).instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validitas dan praktikalitas. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan formula momen kappa. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen pendidikan IPA dan 2 orang guru di SD Impres Limbung. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 2 orang guru dan peserta didik SD Impres Limbung. Hasil analisis angket validitas, praktikalitas guru dan praktikalitas peserta didik berturut-turut adalah 0,85 0,87 dan 0,86 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan berupa diorama berbasis AR sudah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of sugarcane farmers around Camming Sugar Factory, Bone Regency, in managing agricultural waste into value-added organic compost. The main problems identified were the farmers’ habitual practice of burning sugarcane residues, which negatively impacts the environment, and their limited technical ability to convert waste into useful products. The training was conducted using a participatory training approach that actively involved the community in all stages, including theoretical instruction, hands-on composting practice, and mentoring in the use of appropriate technology such as a sugarcane leaf chopping machine. The program’s effectiveness was evaluated through pre- and post-tests using a Likert-scale questionnaire to assess improvements in participants’ knowledge, technical skills, and attitudes. The results indicated a significant increase in average scores from the “fair” category (3.0) to “excellent” (4.5), with the highest improvement observed in technical composting skills. This program also contributed to reducing open-burning practices, improving soil fertility, and stimulating the development of micro-enterprises in agricultural waste management. Overall, the activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), by promoting circular, environmentally friendly, and sustainable agricultural systems.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas peternak dalam mengolah limbah ternak menjadi pupuk organik padat dan cair berbasis teknologi tepat guna di Desa Laikang, Kabupaten Takalar. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah belum optimalnya pemanfaatan limbah ternak, sehingga limbah masih berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan dan belum memiliki nilai ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, edukatif, dan aplikatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik langsung, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Teknologi tepat guna yang diterapkan berupa bak kompos dan drum fermentasi yang sederhana, mudah digunakan, berbiaya rendah, serta sesuai dengan kondisi peternak lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak pada seluruh indikator yang diamati. Pemahaman peternak mengenai prosedur dasar pengomposan dan fermentasi meningkat dari 2 orang menjadi 15 orang, keterampilan menggunakan alat sederhana meningkat dari 6 orang menjadi 18 orang, keterampilan membuat pupuk organik cair meningkat dari 8 orang menjadi 18 orang, kepedulian terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan meningkat dari 4 orang menjadi 14 orang, serta kemampuan mengikuti prosedur operasional standar pengelolaan limbah meningkat dari 3 orang menjadi 15 orang. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas peternak. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap pengelolaan limbah ternak yang lebih produktif, ramah lingkungan, bernilai ekonomi, serta mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan di tingkat masyarakat desa.

Abstract

This research aims to test the level of validity of problem- based science practicum instructions aimed at class VIII SMP/MTs students in odd semesters. The problem-based approach was chosen because it was proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. This research uses part of the 4D method which consists of definition, design and development. The results of this research show that the problem-based practicum instructions developed are valid, with a validity value of 4.2, which means that the problem-based practicum instructions are included in the valid criteria. It is hoped that the final product resulting from this research can be a reference for teachers in teaching science using a problem-based approach, so that it can improve the quality of science learning in schools.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service aims to increase teachers' understanding and skills in making Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on the Differentiated Science Inquiry (DSI) learning model in order to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. This activity targets science teachers at MGMP Science District. Bulukumba, with training methods that include seminars, discussions and direct mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding regarding important aspects in preparing DSI-based LKPD, including understanding of the DSI learning model, differentiated learning, and the characteristics of effective LKPD. In addition, training participants also gain increased skills in dividing students based on their needs and learning styles. Thus, this training is able to improve the professional competence of science teachers and support the effective implementation of the Independent Curriculum, especially in science subjects that require an interactive and investigative approach. Abstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam pembuatan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis model pembelajaran Differentiated Science Inquiry (DSI) dalam rangka menunjang penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini menyasar guru-guru IPA di MGMP IPA Kab. Bulukumba, dengan metode pelatihan yang meliputi seminar, diskusi, dan pendampingan langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terkait aspek-aspek penting dalam penyusunan LKPD berbasis DSI, termasuk pemahaman tentang model pembelajaran DSI, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan karakteristik LKPD yang efektif. Selain itu, peserta pelatihan juga memperoleh peningkatan keterampilan dalam membagi siswa berdasarkan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar mereka. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru IPA dan mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran sains yang membutuhkan pendekatan interaktif dan investigatif.

Abstract

This research is descriptive research that is correlational in nature and aims to determine the relationship between family support and self-efficacy with students' biology learning outcomes. The population of this study was 94 students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 24 Bone. The sample for this study was 62 people, taken using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out in January of the 2019/2020 academic year. Data on family support and self- efficacy were collected using questionnaires and data on biology learning outcomes were obtained from biology learning outcomes tests in the form of multiple choice questions. Research data was analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine family support, self-efficacy and students' biology learning outcomes, as well as inferential statistics, namely normality tests using the Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, linearity tests using ANOVA Table analysis, and simple correlation tests using Pearson Product Moment and regression tests, to determine the relationship and contribution of family support and self-efficacy variables to students' biology learning outcomes. The results of the research show that: 1) dominant students have moderate category family support with a percentage of 33.87%, 2) dominant students have moderate category self-efficacy with a percentage of 35.48%, 3) dominant students have learning outcomes biology is in the very high category with a percentage of 35.48%, 4) there is a positive and significant relationship between family support and students' biology learning outcomes in the low relationship category, 5) there is a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and students' biology learning outcomes students with a low relationship category, 6) there is a positive and significant relationship between family support and self-efficacy together with the biology learning outcomes of students with a medium relationship category.
