Abstract

The study aims are: 1) to explain the effect of training on teachers’ performance, 2) to explain the effect of teaching experience on teachers’ performance, and 3) to explain the effect of training and teaching experience on teachers’ performance. The study population are all elementary school teachers in the District of Lemong Pesisir Barat consist 179 people, while the sample in this study amounted to 64 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of verification research and uses data collection techniques, namely interviews and questionnaires. The analytical research are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that 1) Training partially had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance, 2) teaching experience partially had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance, and 3) Training and teaching experience simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance.

Abstract

High quality of graduates, complete facilities and infrastructure, effective learning system,reliable lecturers, competitive pricing / cost of education and strategic campus location have notguaranteed the existence and development of a private Islamic university. Organizational culture istherefore expected to follow, select and innovate the changes.The result of the research shows the correlation between the two variables of organizationalculture on the motivation of lecturer in STAI Annur, Lampung Selatan. The positive direction ofrelationship indicates that the existence of good relation and influence of organizational culture willmake the motivation of lecturer in STAI Annur Lampung Selatan increasing.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the development of quality management-based teaching staff at SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang and SDIT Permata Bunda III Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. The focus of the problem in this study was on the management aspects of teacher quality coaching. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data is collected through: 1. Interviews with Principals, Foundation Managers and Teachers. 2. Data is also collected by examining and collecting relevant documents. 3. Make direct observations in both schools. To test the validity of the data used credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmation. The collected data were analyzed by data analysis techniques including: data reduction (data reduction), presentation of data (display), verification / conclusion (conclusionsdrowing / verifiying). The results of the study showed that the two schools had implemented a modern teacher development pattern through the implementation of three-step management, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The orientation of teacher development is directed at two main things, namely the achievement of high academic competencies (pedagogic, social, personal and professional), spiritual competencies that are "uswatun hasanah" and istiqomah based on Islamic teachings: Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadist and students' character become the successor of the nation's Pancasilais. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembinaan mutu tenaga pendidik berbasis manajemen di SDIT Muhammadiyah Gunung Terang dan SDIT Permata Bunda III Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pada aspek manajemen pembinaan mutu guru.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui : 1. Wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah, Pengurus Yayasan dan Guru. 2. Data juga dikumpulkan dengan memeriksa dan mengumpulkan dokumen yang relevan. 3. Melakukan observasi langsung di kedua sekolah. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakanujicredibility, transferability, dependability, danconfirmability. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data meliputi : reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display), verifikasidata atau penarikan kesimpulan (conclusionsdrowing atau verifiying). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kedua sekolah sama-sama telah menerapkan pola pembinaan guru yang moderen melalui implementasi tiga langkah manajemen yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Orientasi pembinaan guru diarahkan pada dua hal utama yaitu pencapaian kompetensi akademik yang tinggi (paedagogik, sosial, kepribadian dan profesional), kompetensi spiritual yang “uswatun hasanah” dan istiqamah berlandaskan ajaran Islam: Al-Qur’an dan Al-Hadist dan karakter anak didik menjadi penerus bangsa yang pancasilais. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Sekolah Islam Terpadu, dan Pancasilais.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of the madrasah committee in implementing Madrasa-Based Management at MAN 1 Pringsewu. The role of the school committee in relation to improving the quality of education services is as a giver of consideration, support for education service activities, controller of education service activities, a liaison or hook of communication ropes between the community and the government. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the location in this study is at MAN 1 Pringsewu and the data sources used are primary data and secondary data and there are several techniques used in collecting data, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, the authors also use triangulation techniques sources and techniques. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the role of the Madrasa committee at MAN 1 Pringsewu has carried out its role well, namely by means of the school committee as a giver of consideration in every plan and program prepared by the school, the school committee as a supporter of implementing and improving the quality of education at MAN 1 Pringsewu in the form of financial support, energy, and mental support. The school committee exercises control over decision making and education planning in schools, the school committee acts as a liaison or hook of communication between the community and the government.

Abstract

This research is motivated by two things. First, theoretical facts state that every religion carries a mission of peace and salvation for all (rahmatan lil alamin), upholds human dignity, balance, justice and humanity. Second, the development of science and technology has led to an increase in human ability to understand religious texts. This research aims to find out, analyze and describe strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering attitudes of religious moderation in Islamic Religious College students at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Type of qualitative descriptive research. Data was collected using interview and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. Research findings show that there are three strategies for fostering religious moderation attitudes of UIN Raden Intan Lampung students. First, the outdoor-indoor activity strategy is implemented in the form of moderation camp activities and outreach to strengthen religious moderation. Second, the modeling strategy is carried out by selecting student figures who are active in student organizations and UKM and have exemplary potential. Third, a holistic education strategy, carried out by providing coaching material referring to PMA number 93 of 2022 and studied from various scientific perspectives and real experiences in society. Supporting factors include the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, the high commitment of the leadership of UIN RIL. Inhibiting factors include resistance from some senior student organizations who want balanced representation of participation in activities for all internal campus organizations. This is not in line with the available budget capabilities. The number of UIN Raden Intan Lampung students is quite large, and the majority of them come from general secondary schools, causing the implementation of the religious moderation development program to take quite a long time. Likewise, students' different religious understanding backgrounds require varied methods, a balanced number of resource persons/instructors/coaches/mentors with adequate religious moderation competence.

Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu tugas kepala madrasah adalah sebagai supervisor yang membantu guru untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran. Selain kepala madrasah, guru sebagai sumber daya manusia (human resources) merupakan aset investasi terbesar yang jika dimanfaatkan akan menjadi modal yang berharga dalam mencapai tujuan-tujuan lembaga pendidikan. Selain standar kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru motivasi kerja memainkan peranan yang cukup signifikan dalam membentuk kinerja seorang guru. Dengan motivasi kerja yang baik bisa membentuk karakteristik psikologis yang bisa memberikan kontribusi pada tingkat kinerja seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang (1) supervisi kepala madrasah, motivasi kerja guru dan kinerja guru, (2) pengaruh supervisi kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru, (3) menjelaskan pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru, dan (4) pengaruh supervisi kepala madrasah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru pada MAN se-Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari variabel supervisi kepala madrasah, motivasi kerja, dan kinerja guru. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan menggunakan tekhnik analisis regresi linier berganda (multiple regression). Hasil penelitian menyatakan (1) supervisi kepala madrasah tergolong tinggi, motivasi kerja juga tergolong tinggi dan kinerja guru cenderung tinggi (2) ada pengaruh supervisi kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru yang dijelaskan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi t-test  yang mempunyai besaran 0,02, (3) tidak ada pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru yang dijelaskan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi t-test yang mempunyai besaran 0,406, (4) ada pengaruh supervisi kepala madrasah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru yang dijelaskan dengan hasil uji F yang mempunyai besaran nilai signifikansi 0,003. Adapun besaran pengaruh supervisi kepala madrasah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru hanya sebesar 18% dan 82% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain selain kedua variabel tersebut sebagaimana yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil Uji Anova yang mempunyai besaran R Square sebesar 0,182. Kata Kunci. Supervisi Kepala Madrasah, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

Multicultural education in Indonesia has become an essential need amidst the diversity of ethnicity, culture, and religion. Madrasahs, as Islamic educational institutions, play a strategic role in integrating multicultural values to shape students' moderate attitudes. This study aims to explore the implementation of multicultural education values at Madrasah Imbos in Pringsewu and identify its impact on developing students' moderate attitudes. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to gain comprehensive insights into the educational process. The results of the study show that the integration of multicultural values into the curriculum, dialogue-based teaching methods, and student participation in extracurricular activities focused on diversity have successfully enhanced students' understanding of cultural differences. Approximately 80% of students demonstrated an improved moderate attitude after participating in the multicultural program, indicating the program's effectiveness. However, challenges in implementation include resistance from some students who struggle to accept these values and limited teaching resources that may hinder the program's sustainability. This study highlights the importance of continuous teacher training and competency development to address these challenges and ensure the successful implementation of multicultural education. By illustrating effective strategies in fostering moderate attitudes through multicultural practices, this research makes a significant contribution and can serve as a reference for other madrasahs in developing inclusive education policies. The findings are expected to strengthen educational efforts in nurturing harmony, understanding, and tolerance within a diverse society, thus promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.

Abstract

Konflik antar budaya di Madrasah Aliyah Unwanul Falah merupakan tantangan yang harus dihadapi dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang harmonis. Perbedaan nilai, norma, dan kebiasaan antar siswa dari berbagai latar belakang budaya sering kali menimbulkan konflik yang berdampak negatif pada proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi jenis-jenis konflik budaya yang umum terjadi, penyebabnya, serta strategi yang diterapkan oleh sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik analisis yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan untuk keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode, pengecekan ulang hasil wawancara dengan narasumber. Narasumber pada penelitian ini adalah Guru Agama, Guru Bimbingan Konseling dan ketua OSIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik budaya umumnya disebabkan oleh prasangka, stereotip, dan perbedaan komunikasi. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup dialog antar budaya, pembentukan tim resolusi konflik madrasah program pelatihan toleransi, dan keterlibatan aktif guru sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih inklusif di Madrasah Aliyah Unwanul Falah.

Abstract

QUALITY EDUCATION STRATEGY THROUGH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT BASED ON PDCA Abstract. This study examines the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) that adopts the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle applied to improve the quality of education at MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document studies. Data analysis was carried out based on the Miles and Huberman model which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings reveal that the implementation of PDCA-based TQM is effective in improving the quality of education through data-based planning strategies, the use of innovative learning methods such as Problem-Based Learning and Blended Learning, and continuous data-based evaluation. Implementation ensures that students achieve minimum competency standards in subjects based on religious moderation values supported by technological innovation and routine teacher training. This study concludes that PDCA-based TQM is relevant to building a sustainable and adaptive education system to the challenges of the digital era.
