Abstract

SMK Negeri 01 Bengkayang is one of the most popular vocational high schools in Bengkayang Regency. Located in the center of Bengkayang City, SMKN 01 has several departments, one of which is the culinary department. Although they have been equipped with how to make varied food products, these students are still lacking in terms of packaging and giving stickers and product seals so that the products they produce have not been able to compete in the market. The purpose of this community service is to develop the skills of culinary students in the design of the creative products they produce so that they can compete with other products. The methods used in carrying out this community service program include providing understanding through socialization to students about the importance of product design and providing assistance to them in designing and sealing products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze extrinsic motivation among honorarium teachers at SMKN 01 Bengkayang. Based on school data, around 32.5% of teachers are honorarium teachers at SMKN 01 Bengkayang. The involvement of honorarium teachers in fulfilling the availability of teachers in schools is still very much needed, especially in border areas; therefore, it is necessary to analyze extrinsic motivation factors for honorarium teachers. The research method used is the descriptive-qualitative method. The data in this study are primary and secondary. Primary data is data obtained directly from participants through in-depth interviews; this method is used so that the data collected is deeper and more accurate because it comes from direct participants. Secondary data is data that comes from school documents, electronic sources such as dapodik data, and relevant literature that can support this research. The number of participants was six, who had a career as teachers and worked at SMKN 01 Bengkayang for more than 2 years. The results of the analysis show that leaders, the work environment, life needs, and future careers encourage honorarium teachers to remain enthusiastic at work. From the analysis of interviews with honorarium teachers, future careers to become PPPK employees are their main driving force at work, followed by the work environment, and based on the codification analysis of external factors, leadership, and physiology are in the least favorable position as drivers of work motivation for honorarium teachers. The hope of getting the opportunity to become a government contract employee is the main reason for these honorarium teachers to choose to become honorarium teachers and work optimally because their position as honorarium teachers allows them to be accepted as government contract employees with jobs that match their abilities and better compensation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk memahami bagaimana proses perubahan direncanakan, dilaksanakan dan dievaluasi dalam rangka peningkatan mutu pendidikan, (2) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat keberhasilan manajemen perubahan serta (3) untuk menganalisis dampak perubahan tersebut terhadap mutu pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan analisis kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap pimpinan perguruan tinggi, unit penjaminan mutu, dosen, tenaga kependidikan dan mahasiswa, serta menganalisis dokumen terkait implementasi perubahan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Rekomendasi yang dapat dibuat mencakup perlunya mengadopsi pendekatan yang peka terhadap konteks wilayah perbatasan, memperkuat partisipasi pemangku kepentingan, berinvestasi dalam peluang pelatihan dan infrastruktur, mendukung pengembangan profesional sumber daya manusia, dan menerapkan evaluasi dan adaptasi berkelanjutan terhadap perubahan.

Abstract

Employees' proactive work behavior can influence the organization's future development. This study examines how research on proactive work behavior has evolved through a thorough systematic literature review. This review employed PRISMA, or preferred reporting items, for systematic reviews and meta-analyses with the Watase Uake tools. The systematic literature review was conducted in three stages: planning, conducting, and reporting. The review results showed that the development of proactive work behavior in 2018–2024 indexed by Scopus was highest in 2023, reaching fifty articles. Research on proactive work behavior has grown rapidly over the past decade, with underlying theories such as attribution theory, work design theory, social exchange theory, broaden-and-build theory, job demand resources theory, socialization resource theory, social cognitive theory, self-determination theory, conservation of resources theory, relational identification theory, theory of organizational socialization, self-construal theory, trait activation theory, and self-regulatory theory. Proactive work behavior has a great chance of being published in the world's leading journals.

Abstract

Pengelolaan taman kota dan penanggulangan sampah di Kabupaten Bengkayang merupakan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dalam meningkatkan mutu taman kota. Pendekatan yang diterapkan yaitu terjun langsung di lapangan serta dokumentasi. Adanya peningkatan dalam pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan serta mengelola taman kota. Minimnya infrastruktur penanganan sampah dan kesadaran masyarakat yang masih rendah. Perlu adanya penyuluhan dan pemberian edukasi-edukasi dalam menciptakan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dampak negatif sampah serta indahnya mejaga lingkungan taman kota. Pernan aktif masyarakat dalam strategi pengelolaan taman yang holistik merupakan upaya pengelolaan taman kota dan penanggulangan sampah. Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan taman kota, Penanggulangan sampah, Bengkayang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the "Merdeka Belajar, Kampus Merdeka" (MBKM) policy for students in border areas. The problems that exist in border areas are analyzed through descriptive qualitative case studies. The main data sources for this research were obtained through surveys and interviews. Questionnaires and instructions for surveys were given to respondents, namely students. Data were collected through interviews and documentation; triangulation to ensure data validity; and data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed that the target of the MBKM policy for 36 students is the effectiveness of the MBKM policy in border areas is considered not entirely appropriate.  The results obtained are not the right policy, not the right implementation, not the right target, and not the right environment.  With the existence of the MBKM policy, students have not received and understood the benefits, namely the MBKM policy has been socialized but students have not understood it well, not yet appropriate implementation, that the government has established the MBKM policy, but it is not in accordance with the conditions of universities in border areas. Not yet on target, that education equity has not yet reached the target. Not yet appropriate environment, that the MBKM policy has not provided information related to educational development in border areas.

Abstract

The Internal Quality Assurance System is a reference for universities to better manage and organize higher education, prepare students to compete at the global level, and make a greater contribution to the local community. Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang faces challenges in implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System, such as a lack of understanding of the Internal Quality Assurance System concept, limited human resources and infrastructure, low commitment to quality culture, and not yet having a certified internal auditor. The purpose of this community service assistance is to support the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System through the second cycle of Internal Quality Audit using a Participatory Action Research approach consisting of the identification/assessment stage, planning, program design, implementation, and monitoring, and evaluation. As a result, Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang successfully implemented the control cycle and can continue to the Internal Quality Assurance System improvement cycle. This is evidenced by the support of the Organizing Board, college management, the involvement of the entire academic community, and the preparation of the second cycle Internal Quality Audit report. Internal Quality Audit assistance is very useful in realizing a sustainable Internal Quality Assurance System at Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang.

Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia merupakan aspek krusial bagi UMKM di wilayah perbatasan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan membentuk citra (branding) produk lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan guna meningkatkan kapasitas SDM bagi pelaku UMKM di wilayah perbatasan. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kemampuan SDM, diharapkan dapat menciptakan produk berkualitas yang mampu bersaing di pasar domestik maupun mancanegara serta membentuk brand image yang kuat bagi produk lokal wilayah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia, Kecamatan Jagoi Babang Kabupaten Bengkayang Kalimantan Barat. Kegiatan ini mencakup serangkaian pelatihan, mulai dari pengembangan kompetensi SDM dalam hal kemampuan komunikasi, negosiasi dan pemantapan pemahaman budaya lokal dan produk yang dihasilkan. Melalui program ini, UMKM perbatasan akan memperoleh bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka secara berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan daya saing di era globalisasi.
