Abstract

Film Siapakah yang Berada di Atas Presiden menggambarkan dinamika politik yang penuh intrik dan ketegangan dalam perebutan kursi presiden Indonesia. Tokoh utamanya, Ricky Bagaskoro, seorang siswa SMA, terjebak dalam dilema antara melanjutkan pendidikan sesuai keinginan sang ayah, Bagas Notelegowo, yang tengah berjuang untuk menjadi presiden, atau mengejar cita-citanya menjadi guru di Papua. Film ini mengisahkan perjalanan Ricky dalam mengungkap kebenaran tuduhan pembunuhan terhadap sang ayah, dengan bantuan pengacara idealis Krisna Dorojatun dan putranya, Laras. Konflik semakin memanas dengan masuknya pihak ketiga yang tidak menghendaki Bagas menang. Tema utama film ini terkait dengan kekuasaan, ketidakadilan, dan manipulasi media sosial, yang mencerminkan realitas politik Indonesia. Tokoh-tokoh dalam film ini memiliki motivasi kuat untuk mencari kebenaran, dan melalui berbagai rintangan, mereka menunjukkan keberanian untuk melawan ketidakadilan. Secara keseluruhan, film ini memberikan kritik tajam terhadap penyalahgunaan kekuasaan, patronase, dan nepotisme dalam sistem politik, serta bagaimana media massa sering kali menjadi alat untuk mengarahkan opini publik. Dengan gaya bahasa yang lugas dan emosional, Who is Above the President menjadi refleksi sosial yang relevan bagi generasi muda dalam memahami politik dan kekuasaan lebih dalam.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior is a negative thing that needs to be avoided, especially in students or students. Therefore, good financial literacy and self-control are needed. In this study, the author aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and self-control on students' consumptive behavior. The research method used is quantitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by testing the validity and reliability of instruments, classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests with t tests and f tests. The results of this study show that financial literacy has a partial effect on students' consumptive behavior. Furthermore, self-control has a partial effect on students' consumptive behavior. And at the same time, financial literacy and self-control have a significant effect on students' consumptive behavior. Thus, students who have good financial literacy and self-control will be better able to control consumptive behavior that has a negative impact.

Abstract

Pelatihan ekonomi kreatif pembuatan minuman herbal JAGSE di Desa Kalisalam bertujuan untuk memberdayakan penduduk dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal seperti jahe dan serai. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan produksi minuman herbal yang memiliki manfaat kesehatan serta potensi ekonomi. Selain pelatihan teknis, program ini juga memberikan edukasi mengenai pemasaran produk secara digital bagi masyarakat desa sebagai sasaran dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan ini. Penelitian berlangsung selama satu bulan, mulai 29 Juli 2024 hingga 29 Agustus 2024 secara tatap muka dan di laksanakan di Pendopo Balai Desa Kalisalam yang dihadiri oleh 30 peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman penduduk terkait pembuatan minuman herbal dan peluang usaha sehingga meningkatkan keterampilan individu yang mampu memproduksi secara mandiri. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan modal, akses teknologi, dan pengetahuan pemasaran yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

English teacher competence is one of the crucial factors in achieving success in English education. Therefore, the competence of teachers and prospective teachers must continuously be improved by giving trainings related to English language and English language teaching. The PkM team tried to improve the language skills of Islamic boarding school teachers and prospective teachers by giving TOEFL workshop. Specifically, this study explains how the workshop was conducted, the improvement in participants' TOEFL abilities before and after the workshop, and participants' responses to the TOEFL workshop activities. This activity involved 22 participants. The workshop began with a pre-test to assess participants' initial abilities, followed by 14 hours of instructional sessions, and concluded with a post-test to measure the improvement in participants' abilities, along with a questionnaire to evaluate their perceptions and responses to the activity. The analysis results revealed that the workshop was conducted smoothly using interactive and practice-based methods. The pre-test and post-test data indicated a significant improvement in participants' TOEFL scores after attending the workshop. Moreover, the participants' responses to the activity were very positive, with the majority stating that the workshop was relevant, beneficial, and boosted their confidence in understanding TOEFL material. This TOEFL workshop successfully contributed to enhancing participants' English language competence and received positive feedback from the participants. Similar activities are recommended to be conducted regularly to support the professional development of educators and prospective educators in Bengkalis Districk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh identitas agama terhadap keberpihakan pemilih pada kandidat Bupati Kabupaten Probolinggo Tahun 2024. Politik identitas berbasis agama masih menjadi strategi yang umum digunakan oleh kandidat dalam kontestasi politik lokal, khususnya di wilayah dengan tingkat religiusitas tinggi seperti Kabupaten Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 100 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate random sampling. Instrumen penelitian diuji menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, serta dianalisis melalui regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identitas agama kandidat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberpihakan pemilih. Semakin kuat identitas keagamaan yang ditampilkan oleh kandidat, semakin besar kemungkinan kandidat memperoleh dukungan dari pemilih. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi komunikasi politik berbasis nilai keagamaan, namun tetap dalam kerangka etika, pluralisme, dan toleransi.

Abstract

This mentoring is motivated by a leather bag entrepreneur, Mr. Agus, who is currently related to competition between local products and imported products. Imported products produce products that are the same shape as local crafts, only the materials are different, but people's interest is more interested in choosing imported products because the prices are more affordable. This mentoring aims to analyze the marketing and branding strategies that must be implemented by Mr. Agus, a leather bag craftsman in Dukuh Tengah, Nambangrejo Village in facing competition with imported products. Globalization makes it easier to access imported products, so Mr. Agus faces a big challenge to maintain their market. The research method used is qualitative with the ABCD approach with existing asset developers. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the mentoring, product differentiation through material quality, unique design, and local cultural values ​​are the main keys to maintaining the existence of local leather bag products. In addition, the use of social media as a branding and marketing tool has proven effective in increasing brand awareness and expanding market reach. Recommendations are given for Mr. Agus to focus more on developing a strong brand identity and improving digital marketing skills to compete more effectively in the global market.

Abstract

Bucor Wetan Village in Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency, is a disaster-prone area that frequently experiences power outages due to strong winds and flooding. This situation poses serious challenges to emergency response efforts, such as providing lighting, communications, and operating essential equipment. This community service activity aims to improve the community's knowledge and skills in building emergency boxes based on solar power plants (PLTS) as an alternative energy solution that can be used independently during disasters. The methods used included participatory theoretical and practical training, device assembly, field trials, simulations of utilization in disaster scenarios, and technical assistance. The training results showed a 42% increase in participants' understanding based on pre- and post-tests, as well as the successful assembly of emergency boxes capable of supplying electricity for basic needs such as LED lights and charging mobile phones for more than 6 hours. In conclusion, this activity successfully equipped the community with practical skills in utilizing renewable energy, improved disaster preparedness, and promoted energy independence based on environmentally friendly technologies at the community level.

Abstract

Sebagai kepemudaan Karang Taruna merupakan wadah pembinaan dan pengembangan serta pemberdayaan dalam upaya mengembangkan kegiatan ekonomis produktif dengan pendayagunaan semua potensi yang tersedia dilingkungan masyarakat. Pada kuliah pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini peneliti melakukan penelitian di Desa Konang Kecamatan Galis Kabupaten Pamekasan, dengan mengangkat tema “Peran Karang Taruna dalam Membentuk Sikap Anti Narkoba pada Pemuda di Desa Konang Kecamatan Galis Kabupaten Pamekasan Melalui Kegiatan Bola Volly”, yang ditujukan kepada para remaja agar mereka bisa lebih waspada terhadap narkoba dan dampak yang ditimbulkan jika mengkonsumsi barang haram tersebut. Adapun metode yang peneliti gunakan pada penelitian kali ini yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan narasumber pemuda Karang Taruna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Karang Taruna di Desa Konang memiliki proker yang aktif dibidang olahraga Bola Volly, dari proker yang mereka buat ini, membuat para pemuda di Desa Konang sendiri fokusnya teralihkan, dan cenderung selalu berfikiran positif. Sehingga mereka tidak mempunyai waktu luang untuk melakukan hal-hal yang memang dilarang oleh agama dan negara, seperti halnya mengkonsumsi narkoba.

Abstract

This research aims to reveals the efforts of implementing 21st century learning and the challenges faced by respondents in applying 21st century learning in English Education Study program at STAIN Bengkalis. This study was a survey research. The findings indicated that several efforts to implement 21st century learning conducted by lecturers in the English Education Study Program at STAIN Bengkalis included: 1) In general, the lecturers have implemented 21st century learning models such as Collaborative Learning, Project Based Learning, and Problem Based Learning; 2) Lecturers employed student-centered learning methods; and 3) Digital literacy was utilized by lecturers in the teaching processes. Meanwhile, some challenges faced are: 1) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure; 2) Many students still lack proficiency in digital literacy; 3) Students face difficulties in mastering the 4C skills (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication Skills, Creativity and Innovation Skills, and Collaboration Skills); and 4) The concept and principles of 21st century learning are not fully understood by lecturers and students. In order to support better implementation of 21st century learning, institution should provide enough facilities and a workshop about how to implement 21st learning.

Abstract

This study explored English education students' perceptions of Grammar in Productive skills. Using qualitative approach, the study had 25 university students as participants selected through purposive sampling. The data were collected using an interview, and then analyzed using qualitative analysis. The findings of the study revealed that some students consider grammar as a very important aspect in productive skills. However, there is also flexibility in the use of grammar. As in speaking, grammar is used depending on the context whether formal or informal. In addition, many students said that they always have difficulties in using grammar often caused by lack of vocabulary, anxiety in speaking, and lack of confidence.
