Abstract

This activity aims to assist and increase the knowledge of the children fostered by the orphanage in achieving a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, which is not limited to being free from disease or disability, especially during the new normal period related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this activity is in the form of health education using slide presentation tools. Participants were given material on physical, mental, and social health, as well as Covid-19 prevention behavior and continued with a question and answer session, where there was a knowledge questionnaire filled out before and after health education. The participants of the activity were 10 children fostered by the orphanage where the activity lasted for 90 minutes. Health assistance efforts are sufficient in achieving goals, as indicated by changes in the results of the pretest and posttest questionnaires, but improvements need to be made to further service activities, by combining health counseling methods with other relevant service methods.

Abstract

Infant’s complementary feeding innovation by using the local food Ipomoea Batatas with four variants they are orange, purple, yellow and white. Purpose of the research was to determine organoleptic, from four flour variants. Design of the research was experimental study. Data were analyzed using Duncan’s test. The result of the hedonic test showed the average value of panelist’s favorite level on the overall attributes of sweet potato flour range from 3.66 – 4.32. the highest score for favorite is given to purple sweet potatoflour and the lowest is to yellow sweet potato flour. Analysis of variance showed that differences in sweet potato varieties had significant effect (p<0.05). selected sweet potato flour in the organoleptic test was obtained based on the largest average value and the overall attribute was purple sweet potato flour

Abstract

Kejadian infeksi saluran kemih tertinggi pada kehamilan trimester III yaitu 36,9 %. Leukosit urine merupakan salah satu pemeriksaan penunjang pada penyakit ginjal dan infeksi saluran kemih. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran leukosit pada sedimen urine Ibu hamil di Kelurahan Babussalam Kota Duri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian ibu hamil yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi berjumlah 27 responden. Gambaran leukosit urine dengan menggunakan metode mikroskopis urine dengan meggunakan mikroskop. Analisa data hasil pemeriksaan leukosit pada sedimen urine ibu hamil disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif berupa gambar dan tabel. Hasil penelitian didapat kansebanyak 8 responden (30%) memiliki jumlah leukosit ˃5/LPB dan 19 responden (70%) memiliki jumlah leukosit 0–5/LPB. Dari 8 responden (30%) yang leukosit urine ˃5/LPB yaitu 1 responden dari trimester I, 1 responden dari trimesrter II dan 6 responden dari Trimester III. Ibu hamil trimester III mengalami leukosit urine tidak normal terbanyak yang disebabkan oleh perubahan yang terjadi selama kehamilan, jumlah leukosit yang tidak normal dapat menyebabkan infeksi saluran kemih bahkan beresiko terjadinya persalinan prematur dan gangguan pertumbuhan janin.

Abstract

Early 6 months of age are given complementary feeding. MP-ASI is carried out in stages, starting from soft, and solid foods at the age of 1 year. The basic ingredients of kue bangkit is tapioca flour. New innovations are needed as substitute for tapioca flour, purple sweet potato is a safe local food. The study's goal was to determine the quality kue bangkit (yield, moisture content, macro and micronutrient) levels of sweet potato flour as a raw material for rose cakes used for complementary feeding.The research method used was a laboratory experiment involving the analysis of the levels yield, moisture content, macro and micro nutrient) sweet potato flour. Based on the yield analysis purple sweet potato at 27%, low water content, the macro and micronutrient content were namely, fat content 15.12%, protein 5.03%, carbohydrates 42.44%, moisture content 8.19%, ash content 2.44%, iron 27.78 mg/kg, and zinc 13.60 mg/kg. This shows that kue bangkit purple sweet potato can be used as the latest innovation as an SNI standard MP-ASI.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight Infant was the problem in all over world until nowdays because it causes illness and death on infant. The result of Indonesia Riskesdas in 2013 stated that presentage of toodlers (0-59 month) with low birth weight was the tenth sequence. This research aimed to know the influence of low birth weight infant increase that getting combination ASI-PASI in Arifin Achmad Genaral Hospital Pekanbaru. The type of research used analytic description that was quantitative, that conducted in Arifin Achmad General Hospital Pekanbaru on November 2015 until October 2016. The sample of research was 47 respondences, the instrument of research was scale of infant weight, the technique of collecting sample was by designing accidental sampling. The data was managed by computerization. The analysis of data used univariate and bivariate by using statistic nonparametric wilcoxon test. It was gained the distribution univariate result of female about 57.4 % and male was about 42.6 %, average of gestation age (34,5 weeks). The youngest gestation (28 weeks) and the oldest gestation (40 weeks). The result of statistic test was gained p=0,000 there was the significant difference between birth weight and wiegth after 14 days at the first caring on low birht weight baby that getting combination ASI-PASI with increase average of weight was amount 136,1 grams. It is suggested in order to raise exclusive ASI in fulfilling the nutrition need of baby especially low birth weight baby.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Gizi kurang menjadi masalah tertinggi selama 5 tahun terakhir. Akibat masalah gizi tersebut, seperti gagal tumbuh kembang fisik, kurang optimalnya pertumbuhan dan kecerdasan, bahkan dapat menyebabkan kematian pada balita. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kue bangkit dari tepung ubi jalar ungu terhadap perbedaan berat badan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dan mengetahui status gizi pada balita gizi kurang di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Garuda, Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Metedologi: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2022-Juli 2023 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Garuda Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak balita gizi kurang usia 12-59 bulan sebanyak 18 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini terdiri dari timbangan, meteran, lembar status standar gizi balita. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji T Dependen dan uji Wilcoxon pada SPSS 25. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan berat badan sebelum intervensi adalah 10.05 kg dan berat badan setelah intervensi adalah 10.93 dengan nilai p= 0,005 dan perubahan status gizi balita setelah pemberian kue bangkit ubi jalar ungu sebesar -1,67 SD dengan p value = 0,020. Kesimpulan: Kue bangkit khas Melayu Riau dari ubi jalar ungu dapat dijadikan makanan fungsional pada balita gizi kurang di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Garuda Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Nutritional problems in toddlers can have serious effects. As a result of these nutritional problems, such as failure to develop physically, less optimal growth and intelligence, can even cause death in toddlers. Objective: To determine the effect of giving rose cakes from purple sweet potato flour as an alternative functional food to malnourished toddlers in the working area the work of the Garuda Health Center, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in October 2022-July 2023 in the working area of ​​the Garuda Health Center, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study was 18 malnourished toddlers. Results: The results of this study found that the average weight before the intervention was 10.05 kg and the weight after the intervention was 10.93 kg, the difference between weight gain before and after and there was a difference in weight after the intervention was 0.878 kg with a p value = 0.005 and the average nutritional status of toddlers after giving purple sweet potato cake rose was -1.67 with a p value of 0.020 where p <0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion from this study is that there is an effect of giving purple sweet potato rose cakes on body weight and nutritional status of undernourished toddlers in the working area of ​​the Garuda Health Center, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

The problem health of stunting needs serious attention. This activity aims to assist and increase the knowledge of mothers at posyandu picking happy days in achieving the goal of preventing stunting in children in order to achieve a state of complete physical and mental well being and free from chronic diseases. The method used in this activity is in the form of health counseling using a tool in the form of posters. Participants were given material on stunting and continued with a question and answer session, where there was filling out of knowledge questionnaires before dan after health counseling. The activity participants, namely mothers at the posyandu, picked happy days as many as people where the activity lasted 100 minutes. All mother of child were able to understand well to prevent stunting by increase in the average value of knowledge from 5.4 to 7.8 (pre-test and post-test results) of 2.5 points. It is hoped that PKM activities can be carried out continuously, so that prevent of stunting can early detect.

Abstract

Anemia pada ibu hamil sangat terkait dengan mortalitas dan morbiditas pada ibu dan bayi. Cara mengatasi faktor risiko yang terjadi pada ibu hamil dengan anemia ringan yaitu dengan memberikan terapi tablet besi 60 mg perhari. Salah satu bahan makanan yang dapat meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil yaitu dengan pemberian ubi jalar ungu. Berdasarkan uji laboratorium kue bangkit ubi jalar ungu memiliki zat besi 27,78 mg/kg (Fitri et al., 2023). Mengetahui asuhan continuity of midwifery care (COMC) pada ibu hamil anemia dan efektivitas kue bangkit terhadap peningkatan kadar Hb pada ibu hamil. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest- posttest design. Populasi dalam riset ini adalah seluruh ibu hamil trimester III yang ada di PMB Dince Safrina Pekanbaru. Sampel dalam riset ini adalah 14 orang ibu hamil anemia. Pemberian kue bangkit ubi jalar ungu sebanyak 3 keping/hari. Intervensi diberikan selama 1 bulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa rata-rata kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil sebelum diberikan intervensi sebesar 9,74 g/dl dan setelah dilakukan intervensi selama 1 bulan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil anemia sebesar 10,02 g/dl. Pada uji T test didapatkan hasil bermakna nila p sebesar 0,000. Terdapat peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil anemia yang mengkonsumsi kue bangkit berbahan baku ubi jalar ungu.
