Abstract

   Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah di Kota Binjai adalah sebagai target sasaran  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini.  Adapun  tujuan  dari  kegiatan  ini  memberikan pelatihan siaga bencana  untuk angkatan muda muhammadiyah  sebagai bagian dari kegiatan kaderisasi yang dilakukan dan memiliki fungsi dan peranan sebagai Pelopor, Pelangsung dan Penyempurna Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. Kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan yaitu pengenalan dasar disaster (bencana alam). Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan khusus yaitu untuk mengenalkan dan memahami dasar-dasar kegiatan disaster dan penanggulangannya. Peserta pelatihan dari kalangan angkatan muda muhammadiyah dapat membantu dalam membantu penyelamatan, pengobatan dan membantu korban bencana. Sedangkan tujuan lainnya diharapkan angkatan muda muhammadiyah  dapat  berperan  aktif  di  Kota  Binjai   menghadapi  bencana  alam sebagai bagian dari tugas kemanusiaan. Adapun materi pelatihan sebagai berikut : Muhammadiyah dan Siaga Bencana, Pengelolaan Bencana, Bencana Alam (Gempa Bumi, Tsunami, Gunung Api, Longsor, Banjir, Angin Ribut, Kebakaran). Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta ikut berperan aktif dan di bentuk suatu wadah dengan ReDAM (Relawan Disaster Angkatan Muda) Muhammadiyah

Abstract

Keberhasilan belajar peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal dari tiap peserta didik. Faktor internal dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang baik yaitu kecerdasan, kondisi fisik, bakat, minat dan motivasi belajar siswa, sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan masyarakat, sarana dan prasarana sekolah. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Kecerdasan Emosi mempengaruhi Hasil Belajar Siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel kecerdasan belajar siswa dengan variabel hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penyebaran angket tertutup. Hasil analisis korelasi sederhana, mengemukakan terdapat hubungan positif antara kecerdasan emosional siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa, rhitung0,260 rtabel 0,255 dan hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa rhitung > rtabel (0,260>0,255). Sedangkan thitung sebesar 1,400 sedangkan ttabel 0,854 hal ini menunjukkan ada hubungan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan hasil belajar siswa karena thitung> ttabel(1,400>0,854).

Abstract

This article contains a number of research results which are summarized into a meta-analysis paper. Some research results cover the application of journaling counseling techniques in a broad scope. Counseling services become a very important requirement to be implemented in the Education unit, especially higher education. Journaling counseling technique is one of the service efforts provided to clients, so clients can explore, express emotions and pressures, and analyze them into a coherence that can develop the client's personality. The author hopes that this article will be a reference source in alleviating client problems and the application of supporting literature display activities.

Abstract

Stres akademik merupakan tekanan yang dirasakan oleh individu dalam mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Fenomena yang terjadi adalah mahasiswa tidak begitu yakin dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki sehingga menyebabkan stres akademik dalam mencapai tujuan perkuliahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran self-efficacy mahasiswa serta gambaran stres akademik mahasiswa di program studi bimbingan dan konseling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan koefisiensi variabel self-efficacy dengan stress akademik mahasiswa dikatakan signifikan dan berkorelasi negatif.

Abstract

Anxiety is a behaviour formed by the subconscious that then arises due to environmental pressures that affect unproductive behavior. This research method experiment in the form of research draft Non Equivalent Group Pretest-Postest Control Group. Subject control research is selected through a random sampling mechanism. Researchers placed each group totalling eight students in experimental groups and control groups. The experiment group will be given special intervention through the counseling Stoping technique group with the Solution Focused Brief approach. Data collection techniques with self-anxiety instruments (Skla Likert) that have been conducted expert validation tests and then tested for instruments. From the results of the study showed that the SFBC approach with TS engineering researchers effectively to encourage self-anxiety, the researchers further advise that subsequent researchers so that these techniques and approaches can be used in emergency conditions in both public and school environments with regard to the scientific conventions.

Abstract

Research studies on the low motivation of achievement of students towards the high degree of academic procrastination in the course of lectures. The research aims to get a motivational depiction of student study and counseling studies Program and get an overview of student academic procrastination. This research sample is a tutoring and counseling student amounting to 75 people using a random aiming technique. The instrument used is the motivation scale of achievement and academic procrastination. Furthermore, the prerequisite tests include test normality and linierity testing, as well as simple regression analyses. Based on the analysis results obtained an R value of -0.252 which shows the regression coefficient between achievement motivation and students' procrastination with an R-Square value of -0.063. This shows that achievement motivation is negatively related to academic procrastination of 6%. In line with the research results that high achievement motivation can decrease students academicprocrastination in lecturing

Abstract

The purpose of this study on the effectiveness of the service information using scientific approach and use the lecture method to improve the skills of the students asked. The research is a Quasi Experiment with a design pretest-posttest control group design. The study population is students of Madrasah Aliyah Aisiyah Binjai and SMA Muhammadiyah Binjai, subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Samples with SPSS version 20.0. Based on the findings, the scientific information services with more effective approach to improve students' skills in asking questions.

Abstract

The education process in higher education allows new students to feel the pressure of changing the learning process from high school to the lecture process in college. Students with considerable pressure feel the condition of academic stress within themselves. Academic stress can be reduced by increasing student academic resilience, namely increasing student endurance in facing difficulties and pressures in the lecture process. This study aims to describe a journaling counseling model to develop student academic resilience in reducing student academic stress. The research method used is library research which is an activity related to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. Based on the data found, there is a close relationship between journaling counseling in overcoming academic resilience. This is based on the theories found by the author, so further research needs to be done in order to prove the effectiveness of the theory.

Abstract

Academic engagement is important for the smooth learning process. However, in fact the involvement of students in the learning process is minimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of positive reinforcement to increase student academic engagement. This study is a single case experimental design, with an A-B-A design research involving one student at Global Madani Junior High School who has low academic engagement. The instrument used in this intervention is an academic engagement rating scale based on the research of Schreiner & Louis. Analysis of the data used is statistical analysis and clinical analysis. The results showed a significant increase in academic engagement through positive reinforcement on scores at baseline A1, intervention, and baseline A2. Teachers and counselors can use various kinds of positive reinforcement to make students actively involved in the learning process.
