Abstract

The experiment was carried out in the hydroponic hut Wa Adi, Gunungmanik Village, Talaga District, Majalengka Regency, West Java, with an altitude of 700 meters above sea level and a temperature of 20-26°C. The experiment was carried out from February to March 2022. The randomized block design (RBD) consisted of three treatments (t = 3 treatments) and was repeated ten times. Dosage factor (D) consists of three levels: d1 : 3 ml/liter (1.5 ml A + 1.5 ml B/liter), d2: 5 ml/liter (2.5 ml A + 2.5 ml B/liter), and d3: 7 ml/liter (3.5 ml A + 3.5 ml B/liter). Further tested using Duncan's Multiple Range Test at 5% level. Duncan's further test results showed that the administration of various doses of nutrients had a significant effect on plant height at 10 hst, plant height at 20 hst, plant height at 30 hst, number of leaves at 10 hst, number of leaves at 20 hst, leaf width at 20 hst, stover weight, and net weight. Each of the growth and yield components of lettuce plants treated with d2 (5 ml/liter) nutrient doses showed the best results compared to d1 (3 ml/liter) and d3 (7 ml/liter) nutrient doses.

Abstract

Tanaman sacha inchi memiliki potensi ekonomi yang baik sehingga perlu pengembangan dengan mempertimbangkan sistem produksi berkelanjutan. Salah satu pendukung peningkatan pertumbuhan dan hasil panen adalah pemupukan dengan bahan organik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis berbagai perlakuan pupuk dari bahan organik dari kotoran hewan ayam, kambing, dan sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil panen sehingga terbentuk model yang optimal dari berbagai perlakuan jenis pupuk dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dalam penyiraman dan pemupukan otomatis. Model perlakuan pupuk yang optimal dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode ANFIS. Pengumpulan data di mulai bulan Maret hingga September 2023 di Desa Cikadu. Kecamatan Sindangkerta, Kabupaten Bandung Barat Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi perlakuan pupuk organik dengan bahan kotoran hewan sapi menunjukkan hasil yang optimal pada paremeter pertumbuhan jumlah daun, jumlah batang dan jumlah buah potensial dengan akurasi prediksi terhadap model yang dihasilkan sebesar 96%. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini secara praktek dapat memanfaatkan bahan organik kotoran sapi sebagai alternatif pemupukan yang selama ini belum dimanfaatkan dan dijadikan nilai tambah. Implikasi lain secara teori yaitu dapat mengembangkan keberlanjutan produksi melalui pertumbuahn jumlah daun, jumlah batang dan jumlah buah potensial yang berdampak pada hasil panen sehingga ekosistem dalam mendukung agroindustri sacha inchi dapat tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk peningkatan produksi kedelai yaitu dengan perakitan kultivar unggul kedelai dengan kegiatan pemuliaan tanaman yang sistematis. Namun, program pemuliaan tanaman yang sekarang dilaksanakan lebih untuk menciptakan kultivar kedelai yang memiliki adaptasi luas, sehingga jika di tanam pada kondisi lingkungan yang berbeda terutama pada lingkungan diluar karakteristik yang tidak sama dengan lingkungan pengujian, maka produksinya menurun. Selain itu, karakteristik tanaman yang memiliki daya adapatasi luas dan stabil biasanya memiliki hasil yang rata-rata dibandingkan dengan kultivar yang spesifik untuk wilayah tertentu. Kelompok Bantar Jaya desa Sanca Kecamatan Gantar merupakan salah satu kelompok tani yang masih aktif dalam proses budidaya tanaman kedelai sampai sekarang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan kultivar spesifik lokasi dalam upaya peningkatan produksi kedelai dan pendapatan petani. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode survey sebagai awal untuk menggali seberapa besar petani dapat memahami kultivar spesifik dan demplot area penanaman kedelai spesifik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan Tingkat pemahaman petani terkait pemanfaatan kultivar spesifik masih kurang, petani masih menggunakan kultivar berdasarkan bantuan pemerintah dan banyaknya petani yang menggunakan

Abstract

The demand for soybeans in Indonesia is increasing, this is also accompanied by the development of the food industry made from soybeans. The low soybean production in Indonesia can be influenced by many factors, one of which is agro-climatology which is difficult to control, moreover, this soybean plant is a plant that is sensitive to climate change. Efforts to increase soybean production require innovation breakthroughs by assembling superior varieties to increase productivity in the rainy season. The purpose of this study was to determine the inheritance of traits from female parents or male parents to the offspring resulting from their crosses. This research was conducted in the Techno Park area of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Majalengka which is located in Babakan Jawa, Kec. Majalengka, Kab. Majalengka which will be held from February to July 2023. The four soybean varieties used, namely Gepak Kuning, Deja 2, Mutiara 3, and Detam 4, were planted in polybags. Parameters observed were agronomic and morphological characters in crosses of soybean varieties and 4 parents. The results of this study indicate that there is low to high genetic variation. The characteristics of crosses between black soybeans and yellow soybeans are controlled by additive gene action resulting in the same genetic traits as the female parent. The maternal effect is found in the color of seeds, coat color, and coat type.

Abstract

Weeds are plants that have a negative value, grow spontaneously, and can compete with rice plants because they have the same root system, causing competition for water, nutrients, carbon dioxide, and sunlight. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Oxadiazon 250 g/l herbicide on weed control and its effect on the growth and yield of lowland rice plants. This research was conducted in Palasah Village, Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency, West Java. The experiment was conducted using a non-factorial Randomized Block design (RBD) with seven treatments and four replications. The experiment consisted of 5 treatments of Oxadiazon 250 g/l herbicide with doses of 1.00 l/ha, 1.50 l/ha, 2.00 l/ha, 2.50 l/ha, and 3.00 l/ha with manual weeding and control treatments as comparison). If there is a significant difference in the data obtained, it will be further tested using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of the herbicide Oxadiazon 250 g/l at a dose of 2.00 – 3.00 l/ha was able to suppress the growth of broadleaf weeds (Spenochloa zeylanica, Ludwigia octovalvis and Marsilea crenata), sedge weeds (Fimbristylis miliacea and Cyperus iria) and grass weeds (Leptochloa chinensis).

Abstract

In order to meet national soybean needs, soybean production must be increased. The use of quality seeds in terms of viability and vigor is one way to increase production results. Meanwhile, soybean seed production at the farmer level is carried out the same as soybean production for consumption, whereas seeds harvested for seeds must have special criteria such as water content, uniformity of seed size, and seeds must be free from disease contamination. One way to improve seed quality is to plant soybeans in a controlled environment. The technology developed in this study is the hydroponic system. The purpose of this study was to observe the morphological appearance of six superior soybean cultivars with hydroponic planting. This study was conducted in a Green House with a DFT hydroponic system installation. The cultivars tested were Grobogan, Anjasmoro, Deja 2, Dering 1, Gepak Kuning, and Dega 1. The results showed that each cultivar showed a different appearance in each observed variable. The Gepak Kuning and Dering 1 cultivars showed good performance on average in plant height, stem diameter, and seed weight. These cultivars have shown their ability to adapt to hydroponic planting systems to improve the quality of soybean seeds. Dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan kedelai nasional, produksi kedelai harus ditingkatkan. Pemakaian benih yang bermutu dalam hal viabilitas dan vigor menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi. Sedangkan produksi benih kedelai ditingkat petani dilakukan sama seperti produksi kedelai untuk konsumsi, padahal biji yang dipanen untuk benih harus memiliki kriteria khusus misalnya kadar air, tingkat keseragaman ukuran biji, dan biji harus terbebas dari kontaminasi penyakit. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas benih adalah dengan menanam kedelai di lingkungan yang terkendali. Teknologi yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan system hidroponik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat penampilan morfologi enam kultivar unggul kedelai dengan penanaman secara hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Green House dengan instalasi hidroponik system DFT. Kultivar yang diuji yaitu Grobogan, Anjasmoro, Deja 2, Dering 1, Gepak kuning, dan Dega 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap kultivar menunjukkan penampilan yang berbeda pada setiap variable yang diamati. Kultivar Gepak Kuning dan Dering 1 rata-rata menunjukkan penampilan baik pada tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan bobot biji. Kultivar-kultivar tersebut mampu beradaptasi pada system penanaman secara hidroponik untuk peningkatan kualitas benih kedelai.

Abstract

The objectives of this activity are as follows: To accurately analyze the development potential of the Panyaweuyan terracing area as a national agricultural and food heritage (NIAHS); provide complete and integrated advice or recommendations in the development of the Panyaweuyan terracing area as a national agricultural and food heritage (NIAHS). The research location is the Panyaweuyan terracing area as a national agricultural and food heritage (NIAHS), namely in the Panyaweuyan Agrotourism Area, Argapura District, Majalengka Regency. The implementation time is August-September 2021. Agricultural activities carried out on Panyaweuyan terraced land can provide ecosystem services related to global warming and global climate change at least prevent erosion, through the terracing system. These ecosystem services are in the form of water resource management, conservation of agricultural diversity, low carbon society, zero waste agricultural systems, and renewable energy practices. The need for the development of a tourism promotion cooperation network, the need for the implementation of Panyaweuyan tourism promotion at home and abroad, the need for an increase in supporting infrastructure for tourist areas, the need for an increase in adequate road access to the Panyaweuyan area.

Abstract

Introduction: Lettuce ( Lactuca sativa L.) is a popular vegetable plant in Indonesia. This is because the demand for lettuce continues to increase and lettuce plants can be planted with a hydroponic system that is currently in great demand by the community, especially generation Z (Gen Z). In meeting the demand for lettuce, lettuce is planted hydroponically. Planting in a hydroponic system often does not pay attention to the intensity of light that can be received by plants due to the shade from the GreenHouse or UV plastic used, so that plants cannot grow optimally. The purpose of this study was to find the most suitable lettuce varieties planted hydroponically at various irradiation times as well as the most appropriate long light for lettuce plant growth and to analyze the relationship between characters with the yield for indirect selection. Methods: The study was conducted at the GreenHouse Arsy Hydroponic using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern. 3 lettuce varieties and 4 long light treatments were the treatments in this study. The relationship between characters was analyzed using correlation analysis. Results: The results of the study showed that the Cos and Batavia varieties can generally be used for planting with a light duration of more than 12 hours compared to the Oakleaf variety. Light duration of less than 12 hours is not recommended because it will cause the plant height to be higher, especially for the Oakleaf variety. In the indirect selection process to obtain high-yielding varieties in the hydroponic system by providing light duration and varieties can be selected from the characteristics of the number of leaves, leaf width and root length which have a significant positive correlation. Conclusion: The results of the study showed that selecting the appropriate variety can increase optimal crop yields. Information on the relationship between plant characteristics is very important to increase the effectiveness of selection.
