The utilization of solar energy in Indonesia remains relatively low despite its high potential in terms of solar irradiation and geographical advantage. One of the main challenges in photovoltaic (PV) systems, especially in tropical climates, is the decline in performance caused by high operating temperatures. Unlike previous studies that primarily focused on passive cooling methods or basic active cooling without intelligent control, this research introduces a cross-mounted water pipe cooling system integrated with a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) for dynamic water flow regulation, enabling optimal temperature control and dual-output (electrical and thermal) efficiency. Experimental testing on two 100 Wp monocrystalline solar panels—one with cooling and one without—under identical conditions revealed that the cooled panel achieved an average maximum power of 85.2 W, compared to 43.6 W for the non-cooled panel, with efficiency improvements of up to 7.4% over the observation period. A linear regression model was developed to predict PV performance under varying temperature conditions, demonstrating a slower decline in efficiency and more stable power output in the cooled system. The proposed hybrid PV/T configuration effectively dissipates heat while simultaneously recovering thermal energy, thus enhancing total energy utilization. These results highlight the system’s capability to mitigate thermal degradation, extend module lifespan, and promote sustainable renewable energy adoption in tropical regions. The integration of intelligent control with thermal management presents a scalable and energy-efficient approach for future photovoltaic applications.

In modern times, everything has rapidly developed, including public facilities provided by the government for the comfort of everyone. One of them is facilities for visually impaired individuals. In terms of language, guiding blocks are blocks used as directional markers. These facilities are built as an effort by the government to enable visually impaired individuals to walk independently. However, these facilities are often misused by others who disregard the needs of visually impaired individuals. As a result, the facilities get damaged, and the visually impaired individuals are the ones affected. Therefore, researchers have created an innovative tool to assist visually impaired individuals in their daily activities, which is easy to use. "Safety Belt to Detect Obstacles Using Ultrasonic Sensors and GPS" is a device capable of detecting obstacles or objects in front and producing a sound when the object is in close proximity to the user. It has a minimalist design and is equipped with a GPS module to help determine the user's location. This device utilizes ultrasonic sensors implemented on Arduino and is equipped with a buzzer that can sound an alert when the distance between the user and an object is close. We hope that the creation of this device can improve the quality of life for its users.

There are several important factors to increase the success rate of tilapia farming. Among them is the regulation of water quality in the pond, which is still mostly done manually. Therefore, a water quality management tool for Ubidots-based tilapia fish farming ponds is made to facilitate tilapia fish farmers in regulating the quality of pond water automatically. so the importance of water quality management of tilapia fish farming ponds is a follow-up to reduce the failure rate in the cultivation process. The components used in this tool are Esp32 as a microcontroller, ph sensor as a water ph value detector, DS18B20 temperature sensor as water temperature detection and turbidity sensor as a water turbidity value detector, Ultrasonic sensor as a pool water level detector, LCD to display the value detected by the sensor, solenoid valve and water pump that functions to drain and fill the pool water. The conclusion of the results obtained from this device is that the device works well and helps tilapia fish farm owners to monitor and control water quality efficiently, although there are some obstacles such as delays due to internet connections. so maybe in the future it can add a solar cell as a power supply for the automatic control process in this system.

Tofu is a side dish or food used by many people. As a processed food product made from soybeans, white tofu contains protein and high water content so it is very good for the growth of spoilage microorganisms. As a result, tofu is not durable and easily damaged. Damage to white tofu is characterized by a sour and slimy odor. The usual preservation methods for traders include soaking tofu in formalin to make tofu more resistant to decay, resistant to microorganisms, and maintaining its freshness for up to seven days. Formalin to prevent unwanted things. In food Because of the above problems, there needs to be special treatment against excessive use of formalin in food in Indonesia. Formalin should be limited within International Chemical Safety Programme (IPCS) limits for adult foods containing formaldehyde. And also sensors made of polymeric materials combined with activated carbon to detect formalin in food. The development of technology continues with the development of internet products from things that can communicate with each other through the internet. Then a tool was developed to solve the above problem. As part of the research, a formaldehyde detection device will be made in tofu food with a monitoring telegram. The system uses HCHO sensors and a Node MCUESP 32 microcontroller, which is then transmitted through a database that allows you to view through the LCD screen and the Telegram Android smartphone application, of which of course many applications are installed to facilitate this. Users are able to check formalin plates remotely via an internet network connection.

Hybrid energy storage systems have shown promise in enhancing solar panel systems reliability and efficiency. However, managing the power distribution balance with multiple energy storage units remains a challenge. This research addresses power distribution balancing during solar irradiation intermittency by employing a first-order filter with lowpass and highpass characteristics. The study aims to investigate energy and power management issues for off-grid electrical systems using this filter. Results from numerical simulations and experiments with a hybrid energy storage setup comprising a battery and supercapacitor show that the first-order filter effectively allocates the first-order signal to the main energy storage and subsequent orders to the supporting energy storage. During increased intermittency, the battery contributes 62 W and stores 387 W, while the supercapacitor contributes 167 W and stores 297 W. Conversely, during reduced intermittency, the battery stores 390 W and contributes 62 W, and the supercapacitor stores 295 W and contributes 164 W. The findings demonstrate the filter's efficacy in optimizing power distribution balance within hybrid energy storage systems. However, using the supercapacitor as the main energy storage does not result in higher power efficiency compared to the battery. In conclusion, the First Order Filter presents a viable solution for addressing power distribution challenges in hybrid energy storage systems, contributing to improved energy and power management for off-grid electrical systems. Further research on cost-effectiveness, maintenance, and environmental impact is warranted for practical implementation

This research aims to develop a system of detecting the maturity and sorting of cavendish bananas using Open Source Computer Vision (OpenCV) and also assisted by a loadcell sensor. The problem experienced at this time is that fruit sorting is still manual which is less efficient and inaccurate in distinguishing banana maturity based on the color of the skin. This is because the human eye is sensitive to changes in lighting and fatigue. This designed system will use webcam for image processing and loadcell for fruit weight measurement, controlled by Arduino Uno microcontroller. While the algorithm used to determine the color of the ripeness of the banana fruit itself is HSV. The test results show an average weight error of 0.08% for ripe bananas, 0.71& for unripe bananas, while the color detection produces an accuracy of 47.34% on average in bright lighting conditions. In conclusion, this system is successful in improving sorting efficiency with adequate accuracy results, but further development is needed so that the accuracy level increases.
