Abstract

Child grooming is sexual, psychological, and physical violence that has now been integrated and mutated with digital technology. Cases of child abuse are of particular concern because they have a long-term impact on children’s development. This research was carried out to provide answers regarding preventive approaches or efforts that can be taken to overcome the phenomenon of child grooming. This research was carried out qualitatively using a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Mills & Huberman technique. The validity of this research data applies source triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that child grooming in the form of sexual harassment is more susceptible to girls due to the way they dress less in line with their age, while for boys, it is caused by the physical deficiencies they experience. This research found that there is a need for holistic sex education through approaches to children, parents, teachers, and the social environment in which children live.

Abstract

The high prevalence of mental health issues among university students highlights the need for a holistic treatment approach that includes not only medical and psychological care but also spiritual support. This study examines the concept of patience in Sufism as a practical spiritual strategy for coping with mental pressure. Using a qualitative phenomenological method, it explores the subjective experiences of eight students through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The findings indicate that students who practice patience through Sufi practices achieve enhanced emotional regulation, inner calmness, and spiritual resilience. Rather than mere endurance, patience functions as a spiritual framework that helps students reframe academic stress as divine tests, fostering steadfastness and a deeper sense of purpose. Contribution: This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic spirituality in psychology, offering an integrative, culturally rooted approach to student mental well-being. It also adds practical insight into applying Sufi teachings in modern contexts.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT - This study refines Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a strategic approach for the digital era. It proposes Customer Data Protection (CDP) as a crucial new dimension for a more holistic CRM framework. This revised framework addresses inconsistencies in past CRM definitions, which have contributed to implementation failures across industries. The urgency for this refinement is further emphasized by Indonesia's weak data security landscape. Employing a quantitative survey methodology, the study gathers data from 412 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is then utilized to analyze each CRM dimension within the collected data. The empirical findings establish five significant dimensions of CRM, forming a strategic framework referred to as the "5C CRM." This framework encompasses processes for cultivating positive stakeholder relationships, preserving company value, and ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. From an Islamic perspective, data protection aligns with the Maqāṣid Sharia principle of hifdz al-nafs (protecting life). By securing customer data, companies safeguard customers from potential dangers associated with cybercrime and unauthorized access. This aligns with the Quranic verse An-Nur:27, which emphasizes seeking permission before entry. This verse signifies the company's responsibility to secure and protect customer data from unauthorized access. Ultimately, businesses that actively safeguard personal information are more likely to cultivate customer satisfaction and loyalty. The findings suggest that prioritizing data security not only aligns with Islamic principles but also fosters stronger customer relationships.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK - Redefinisi CRM untuk Era Digital: Peran Perlindungan Data Konsumen dalam Perspektif Islam.

Abstract

Temporary marriage is not only about surviving the trauma and crisis but also offers the potential to emerge from difficulties due to its ability to provide meaning from past events. This study aims to measure the level of meaning in the life of female victims of temporary marriage in Singkawang, Indonesia, by exploring their experiences as an optimization to generate positive effects on their lives. Employing a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the research utilizes an inventory technique to investigate the meanings of life experienced by ten respondents. Additionally, in-depth interviews were conducted with five women who had been impacted by temporary marriage in order to delve into their pursuit of a meaningful life, all of whom consented to the intervention. The findings indicate that women often find themselves as victims of temporary marriage at a middle economic level. The pursuit of a purpose in life emerged as a primary concern, surpassing other factors such as spirituality, self-acceptance, materialism, and problem-solving in the quest for life’s meaning. This situation is often hindered by psychological trauma stemming from challenges encountered within the context of temporary marriage. Through introspection and self-acceptance, individuals embarked on a journey of personal growth, gaining insights and heightened awareness that could serve as a form of intervention through social connection, prayer, close relationships, positive behaviors, experiences, and self-motivation. This research provides an understanding of the fact that difficulties or problems in life can have positive implications by motivating the desire to grow from the temporary marriage experience.

Abstract

The Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI) can be applied to and understood by the Indonesian work culture, which has unique social norms, collectivism, and a hierarchical structure. This study aims to analyze the suitability and relevance of SCSI based on empirical findings on career satisfaction development, synthesize the factors influencing subjective career success in the Indonesian context, and identify the research gaps arising from the question of how Shockley’s Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI) can explain and support the understanding of career satisfaction development within Indonesia’s socio-cultural and organizational landscape. The review process adheres to methodological standards and PRISMA guidelines to ensure transparency, involving thematic analysis that examines the eight dimensions of the SCSI while considering the local cultural context to develop a culturally valid and relevant measurement of subjective career success in Indonesia. The literature review results indicate that career success in the SCSI dimensions encompasses eight main aspects influenced by various individual, social, and cultural factors. In Indonesia, the interpretation and realization of career success are greatly influenced by social norms, collectivist values, and the balance between self-authenticity and harmony in the workplace, resulting in a unique dynamic and challenges in the concept of career success shaped by cultural context. These findings contribute significantly to enriching the understanding of subjective career success by highlighting how the Indonesian cultural context shapes the dynamics of authenticity, social influence, and the meaning of work that impact the achievement of holistic career success.
