Abstract

Salah satu karakteristik dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, penguasaan literasi digital tidak hanya dibutuhkan sebagai materi pembelajaran, tetapi juga diterapkan dalam proses pemberian materi yang kreatif dan menarik di kelas. PKBM 21 Tebet merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan non-formal yang juga memberlakukan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam proses pembelajaran mereka. Meski demikian, PKBM 21 Tebet belum dapat menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka secara maksimal karena kurangnya pengetahuan tenaga pendidiknya terutama dalam pembelajaran digital. Oleh karena itu, sebagai bentuk kepedulian, program studi Teknik Informatika dan program studi ilmu komunikasi Universitas Paramadina melaksanakan program PKM dalam bentuk workshop untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam pembelajaran digital tenaga pendidik PKBM tersebut. Pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk workshop serta melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaannya. Topik yang disampaikan pada pelatihan adalah konversi materi dalam bentuk e-book, penggunaan aplikasi quis dan penilian secara online, memaksimalkan video pembelajaran dan cara membuat slide presentasi menarik. Secara umum setelah mengikuti pelatihan, rata-rata kemampuan peserta terhadap pembelajaran digital meningkat 1 poin, dari sebelumnya 3,35 menjadi 4,35 dimana nilai tertinggi pada penguasaan materi pembuatan video pembelajaran sebesar 4,8 atau hampir baik sekali. Peserta pelatihan merasa puas terhadap pelaksanaan pogram pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan nilai 4,6 atau hampir baik sekali. In the independent curriculum, mastery of digital literacy is not only needed as learning material, but also applied in the process of providing creative and interesting material in the classroom. PKBM 21 Tebet is a non-formal educational institution that also applies an independent curriculum in their learning process. However, PKBM 21 Tebet has not been able to implement the independent curriculum optimally due to the teacher's lack of knowledge, especially in digital learning. Therefore, as a matter of concern, the informatics engineering study program and the communication science study program at Paramadina University are implementing a community service program to improve the digital learning abilities of the PKBM teachers. The training is packaged in the form of a workshop and involves lecturers and students in its implementation. The topics presented in the training were converting material into e-books, using quiz applications and online assessments, maximizing learning videos and how to make interesting presentation slides. In general, after attending the training, the average participant's ability in digital learning increased by 1 point, from the previous 3.35 to 4.35, where the highest score for mastery of learning video making material was 4.8 or almost very good. The training participants were satisfied with the implementation of this community service program with a score of 4.6 or almost very good.

Abstract

Forum is a platform for exchanging information and ideas. In the digital era, information is highly valuable, and forums have become an appropriate means to obtain it. As a result, forums are now available in the form of applications. A forum application can provide numerous benefits to its users. In this study, a mobile forum application specifically designed for students of Paramadina University is developed. The presence of this student forum application is expected to enhance collaboration and foster discussions among students, thus enriching their learning experience at Paramadina University. The system development process of the forum application is carried out by applying object-oriented design principles, incorporating the creation of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. Consequently, the system design follows efficient and standard-compliant structures. The designed system is then implemented into a mobile application using the Dart programming language with Flutter framework. For the backend, the application is developed with Go programming language and MySQL relational database. The forum application developed in this study underwent comprehensive testing to ensure its accuracy and usability, using both blackbox and whitebox methods. The testing results indicated that the forum application functions well. Therefore, the forum application is considered suitable and can be used by students of Paramadina University to collaborate with each other.

Abstract

Restoran Padang Ali, yang berlokasi di kantin Rini di Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan, mengalami kendala dalam proses pemesanan manual yang lambat, terutama pada saat jam istirahat karyawan kantor. Masalah ini mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan dan efisiensi operasional restoran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi web yang dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah proses pemesanan makanan, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas layanan pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah metode Waterfall. Setiap tahapan dalam metode ini dijelaskan dengan rinci menggunakan berbagai alat seperti UML, serta bahasa pemrograman PHP, MySQL, dan CSS. Aplikasi web yang berhasil diimplementasikan diuji menggunakan metode Blackbox untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keberhasilan dan responsnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat digunakan oleh Restoran Padang Ali untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan efisiensi penjualan, serta memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi pelanggan.

Abstract

IoT is one of the focuses of application development carried out by various developers today. The aim is to enable various devices and work independently to meet the various needs of their users. The flood early warning system is one of the much-needed IoT-based applications, enabling users to quickly obtain water level information in an area. This application can help people to be more aware of flood disasters, especially during the rainy season. This research develops a flood early warning system application by utilizing Arduino and ultrasonic sensors installed in flood-prone areas. The sensor is used to measure the water level at a time based on the distance from the water surface to the sensor. When the distance between the water surface and the sensor is less than or equal to the set threshold, the sensor will send data and alerts to the user via email. This research applies the IoT design and development method. In addition, this research also used the C and Python programming language for application prototypes and the MySQL database to store the data. the application in this study was tested using the blackbox method and the results showed that all application functions could run properly.

Abstract

The manual room booking process at Paramadina University faces several challenges, including inefficiencies, human errors, and communication breakdowns between applicants and facility managers. These issues often result in room booking conflicts and delays, hindering effective facility usage. The need for a more streamlined, user-friendly solution led to the development of the Roomhub Paramadina application, a web-based system designed to facilitate room bookings within the university. The objective of this research is to design and implement a digital room booking system that simplifies the current manual process. The application was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall framework. This approach ensures structured and systematic development, enabling the team to follow sequential stages from requirements gathering to testing. The Roomhub application allows users to view available rooms, submit booking requests, and receive confirmations directly via an online platform. The system integrates with existing university infrastructure and ensures real-time room availability, reducing errors such as double bookings. Black-box testing was employed to verify the application’s functionality, and the results confirmed that the system meets user needs while significantly improving booking efficiency. By automating room bookings and enhancing communication between the parties involved, this research offers a practical solution that improves operational efficiency, reduces paperwork, and minimizes scheduling conflicts, thereby benefiting the entire academic community at Paramadina University.

Abstract

The current condition of working desks often faces challenges such as poor management and inefficiency in space utilization, which complicates the adoption of Smart-Working culture at Xtra Cowork. To address these issues, the writer aims to facilitate the transition for offices adopting Smart-Working culture by designing a hot desking supporting mobile app. Through observation, the research identifies the need for a reliable system to support hot desking practices. To complete this research, the writer uses agile and extreme programming methods. For app designing, the writer uses UML. The main tools used for developing the app are Flutter with Dart language. The developed mobile app successfully fulfills these requirements. The results of the application testing using the black box method has passed 100% of the test cases. It shows that all functions have worked as designed and could be used by the users as intended. Future researchers can build upon this work to address other Smart-Working culture needs.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi mobile memberikan kemudahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, salah satunya adalah pengelolaan informasi seperti nomor rekening bank. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi “Rekeningku”, sebuah platform yang memungkinkan pencatatan nomor rekening bank. Proses pengembangan menggunakan model Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam mengelola nomor rekening pribadi maupun orang lain. Evaluasi pengguna menunjukkan kepuasan terhadap fitur dan kemudahan dalam menggunakan aplikasi ini.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact and challenges of the implementation of Information Systems (SI) and Information Technology (IT) in the construction environment of PT KCIC (Kereta Cepat Indonesia China). This study explores the implementation of SI and IT in PT KCIC using various strategic management analysis methods, including Business Model Canvas (BMC), SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis, and the Ward and Peppard framework. Through this multidimensional approach, this research aims to investigate the impacts and challenges of IS and IT implementation in the PT KCIC construction environment. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and analysis of company documentation. BMC is used to understand PT KCIC's business model, while SWOT and PEST are used to analyze the internal and external environment. The Ward and Peppard method is used to develop IS and IT implementation strategies that suit the company's needs and challenges. The research results highlight the importance of IS and IT integration in PT KCIC's business strategy, as well as the challenges faced in process implementation, such as data security, IT infrastructure, and the adequacy of activated human resources. This research provides in-depth insight into how PT KCIC can optimally utilize IS and IT to increase its operational efficiency and effectiveness.
