Abstract

Youth play a strategic role in maintaining social harmony and creating a safe and comfortable environment. However, various social challenges such as rising conflicts, a lack of awareness of peace values, and the negative influence of social media pose obstacles to building a peace-loving character. This community service aims to strengthen the character of peace-loving values among youth in Gogik Village, West Ungaran District, through interactive education and training. The service method involves mentoring and empowerment activities targeting the community through the local youth organization (Karang Taruna) by conducting training programs and digital campaigns. This initiative is expected to raise awareness and understanding among young people about peace values through training activities and digital outreach, helping them improve their knowledge of conflict management, effective communication, and the importance of creating a harmonious environment. Additionally, participants became more active in spreading messages of peace via social media. The significance of this community service lies in its contribution to reinforcing peace-loving character through educational approaches and digital technology, which can enhance youth awareness in preserving social stability. Therefore, synergy among government, communities, and educational institutions is essential to broaden the implementation of similar programs to build a more peaceful and tolerant society

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis penguatan karakter mandiri melalui kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi penguatan karakter mandiri pada peserta didik melalui kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Semarang, faktor pendorong dan faktor penghambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, koordinator tim fasilitator kegiatan P5 dan peserta didik kelas VII. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Penguatan Karakter Mandiri Pada Peserta Didik Melalui Kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Pada Tema Suara Demokrasi kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Semarang telah dilaksanakan dengan efektif dan terstruktur. Projek ini dirancang dengan fokus pada satu karakter dari profil pelajar Pancasila, yaitu karater mandiri. Dalam implementasi penguatan karakter peserta didik dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap sistematis yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Implementasi Projek dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendorong dan faktor penghambat. Untuk faktor pendorong meliputi faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi aspek bawaan dan kepribadian sedangkan faktor eksternal mencakup dukungan keluarga, guru/pendidik dan lingkungan sekitar. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah minimnya pemahaman mendalam tentang kurikulum dari pihak pendidik dan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Higher education is a crucial foundation for shaping individuals who are both high-quality and positively contribute to society.This study reviews the transformation of peace education within the Merdeka Campus environment, an innovative approach in Indonesia's higher education system. The "Freedom to Learn" concept emphasizes students' autonomy in managing their learning processes according to their interests and potential. This approach not only strengthens academic aspects but also instills values of peace and cooperation among students within the campus environment. By fostering creativity and open dialogue, the Merdeka Campus creates an atmosphere conducive to shaping future leaders committed to peace. The study employs a literature review method, providing a foundation for the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar concept in the context of peace education. It outlines strategies for curriculum development that support a deeper understanding of conflict resolution and peaceful solutions. Additionally, the study highlights the role of lecturers as facilitators in guiding students towards a holistic understanding of the concept of peace. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Belajar approach to peace education within the Merdeka Campus environment positively impacts student development, both in terms of knowledge and attitudes

Abstract

This study is driven by the researcher’s interest in exploring the various forms of expressive speech acts that appear in the movie “Budi Pekerti.” The primary objective of this research is to identify the types of expressive speech acts performed by the characters in the film. Data were collected using observation and note-taking methods, specifically the free listening approach (simak bebas libat cakap, SBLC) and recording techniques. The analysis was conducted using a pragmatic framework, focusing on dialogue excerpts from the film’s characters. The findings reveal that the characters utilize seven types of expressive speech acts: expressing gratitude, giving praise, apologizing, criticizing, complaining, insinuating, and blaming. This study demonstrates that the expressive speech acts in “Budi Pekerti” are closely tied to the social and cultural context of the story. Each type of expressive speech act conveys functions and meanings that reflect the characters’ emotions and attitudes in specific situations. Overall, this research contributes to a better understanding of how expressive speech acts are used in film media and serves as a reference for future studies related to language use in diverse social and cultural contexts.
