Abstract

As the villagers of Bandar Kuala become more knowledgeable about healthy lifestyles, the need for locally available herbal medicines with health benefits is bound to increase. Some of the sources of ingredients from spices and plants that are easily accessible to Bandar Kuala villagers and have various health benefits are turmeric, cardamom, bay leaves, soursop leaves, candlenut, sambiloto, frangipani flowers, kenanga flowers, anise, areca flowers, kencur, coconut oil, coriander, nutmeg, cloves, lempuyang wangi, temu mango, temu kunci. Phytochemicals from these plants are known to prevent or cure various diseases such as high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, flu, cough, sore throat, pain and others. Cultivation of traditional medicinal plants in the garden on a large scale can be of economic value to the community, thus potentially improving the welfare of the villagers, and it is important to provide health education on the use of spices that already exist in an environment that is easily accessible to the residents of Bandar Kuala village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa di kelas X IIS MA Mualimin UNIVA Medan.Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar ekonomi siswa pada materi OJK( Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan kurang melibatkan interaksi antar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen  dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X yang di bagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pretest dan posstest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas,dan uji hipotesis( uji t).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata  pada kelas eksperimen 71,32 lebih tinggi di bandingkan kelas kontrol 60,88 . Hasil penelitian diperoleh  nilai Fhitung ˂  Ftabel  yaitu 1,52 < 1,78. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai sig. (2 tailed)  0,003 < 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak  dan  Ha diterima Hal ini berarti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar ekonomi pada materi OJK siswa kelas X IIS MA Mualimin UNIVA Medan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ekonomi di SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua masih menggunakan model konvensional yang monoton, sehingga diperlukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran example non example terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan ekonomi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 32 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 soal yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, tingkat kesukaran, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t, dan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai t hitung (3,74) > t tabel (1,99), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran example non example terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Nilai multiple R sebesar 0,97 menunjukkan korelasi sangat kuat antara variabel model pembelajaran dan hasil belajar. Nilai adjusted R square sebesar 0,939 menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran example non example memberikan kontribusi sebesar 93,9% terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa, sedangkan 6,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran example non example berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas XI SMA Istiqlal Deli Tua.

Abstract

                This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of economic development and growth in grade XI at MA Muallimin UNIVA Medan. The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes in economics, particularly on the topic of development and economic growth, which is caused by the lack of variation in teaching methods and limited student interaction. This research uses a true experimental design. The experimental design applied is the posttest-only control design. The research sample consists of grade XI students divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results show that the application of the problem-based learning model significantly improved students’ learning outcomes, with an average score in the experimental class of 68.33, which was higher than that of the control class, which scored 59.57. The research results showed an Fcount < Ftable value, namely 1.15 < 2.00. The hypothesis test results showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.002 < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates that the problem-based learning model has an effect on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of economic development and growth. The conclusion of this study is that the problem-based learning model has a positive and significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes in the topic of economic development and growth for grade XI students at MA Muallimin UNIVA Medan in the academic year 2024/2025.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that frequently occurs in elementary schools and negatively impacts students' psychological development and academic achievement. Instilling anti-bullying attitudes from an early age is a crucial step in creating a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly school environment. This article discusses the strategies implemented by Community Service Program (KKN) students in educating elementary school students about bullying prevention and management. The methods used included interactive outreach and the screening of motivational videos. The results of the activities showed an increase in students' understanding of the types of bullying, their impacts, and how to report and prevent bullying. This KKN program is expected to become an effective model for sustainable education in building a culture of mutual respect and fostering positive character in elementary school students.
