Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi atletik akibat dominasi metode konvensional, sehingga dibutuhkan media inovatif yang mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video tutorial berbasis Android pada materi atletik lempar lembing untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas ahli media, ahli materi, dan peserta didik, dengan instrumen berupa angket validasi dan uji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial yang dikembangkan masuk kategori “sangat layak” berdasarkan aspek isi, desain, dan kegunaan. Media ini terbukti membantu siswa memahami teknik lempar lembing dan mendorong pembelajaran mandiri melalui perangkat Android. Dengan demikian, video tutorial berbasis Android dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas PJOK serta motivasi belajar siswa pada materi atletik.

Abstract

Pencak silat sebagai olahraga prestasi memerlukan penguasaan teknik bantingan, namun pembelajaran teknik ini di Gorontalo terkendala oleh keterbatasan literatur dan media. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model latihan bantingan berbasis aplikasi Android untuk meningkatkan pemahaman atlet. Metode pengembangan dengan desain ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan uji coba terbatas (10 atlet) dan luas (20 atlet). Hasil validasi menunjukkan kelayakan tinggi dari ahli materi (92%), ahli media (87%), uji kelompok kecil (83%), dan uji kelompok besar (94%). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah aplikasi yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media latihan, dengan rata-rata penilaian 89% kategori sangat baik, sehingga dapat mendukung pembelajaran pencak silat.

Abstract

This service aims to provide training to athletes and track coaches in Gorontalo City regarding self-massage techniques to effectively overcome post-workout fatigue so that they can improve performance and speed up muscle recovery. This service was carried out at the Nani Wartabone Sports Center, Gorontalo City, which used some equipment, namely massage beds, mattresses, foam rollers, massage guns, mats, magnetic therapy back massagers, olive oil, and face towels. The method for this service was designed through field observation procedures, coordination with administrators, Focus Group Discussions, training, and evaluation. The results of this service show that the self-massage training carried out in Gorontalo City was proven to be effective in improving the skills and knowledge of athletes and coaches in dealing with post-training fatigue. The results of the training showed very satisfying participation, productive collaboration, and good application of the material by the participants. The self-massage technique taught was successfully implemented effectively, providing a positive impact on reducing fatigue and increasing the participants' body fitness.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of badminton referee training conducted during the Provincial Gorontalo National Championship (KEJURNAS). The training aims to improve the competence and professionalism of local referees in leading matches, as well as to provide a positive contribution from lecturers to the development of regional sports. The training activities were carried out for two days at Hotel Rachmat, followed by an experience of refereeing matches at the TRISAKA Badminton Hall for four days until the final. This article examines the contributions of this training to the quality of refereeing and its impact on badminton in Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

The socialization of basketball game rules in junior high schools throughout Gorontalo City was carried out to overcome the main problem of the need for more understanding by students who are active in basketball extracurriculars regarding the latest rule changes. This service aims to convey the latest regulations to junior high school students in Gorontalo City, predominantly male and female students who are active in basketball extracurriculars. The socialization activity lasted for 7 days, from 4 to 10 January 2024, at SMPN 2 Gorontalo City, involving 50 junior high school students throughout Gorontalo City as respondents. Measuring students' understanding of the rules of the basketball game was carried out using a questionnaire, and the results of data analysis showed that 80% of students really understood, 16% understood, and 4% quite understood the rules of the game. Therefore, the participants have a good understanding of aspects such as how to play, the basics of the game, and the rules of the basketball game.

Abstract

Masalah: Total Body Resistance Exerciese merupakan latihan menggunakan alat yang dapat dimaksimalkan untuk mendorong peningkatan komponen dominan dalam suatu cabang olahraga. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model latihan Total Body Resistance Exerciese (TRX) pada cabang olahraga Pencak silat. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan tahap identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, pembuatan produk, validasi ahli, revisi produk, uji coba, produk akhir. Subjek penelitian pada kelompok kecil berjumlah 15 orang dari Pesilat Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Olahraga Pelajar Provinsi Gorontalo dan 33 orang dari Pesilat Tapak Suci yang berlatih di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Gorontalo menggunakan teknik Accidental Sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil: Penelitian ini menghasilkan sembilan model latihan TRX yang dinyatakan layak, yaitu TRX Plank, TRX Side Plank, TRX Power Low Row, TRX Power Y Fly, TRX Power Biceps Curl, TRX Power Chest Press, TRX Power One Chest Press, TRX Endurance One Chest Press, dan TRX Power Triceps Press. Kesimpulan: Peneliti merekomendasikan variasi latihan ini dilakukan secara benar guna menghindari risiko cedera. Peneliti menyarankan untuk meneliti tentang model pengembangan latihan lain guna mempermudah pelatih dalam menyiapakan menu latihan.

Abstract

Education not only aims to educate, teach and create quality children and have good character in order to achieve the goals to be achieved, be able to adapt and socialize well and quickly in society and the surrounding environment. Lack of character education will cause a moral crisis that will have an impact on the emergence of bad or negative character. Children in the view of Hinduism and Budi Pekerti teachings are saviors for parents and ancestors, because children will continue their descendants. Therefore, the teachings of Hinduism are functioned as part of learning aimed at character education. This research uses a type of qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that Hindu Religious Education and Budi Pekerti is a source of students to gain knowledge, understanding and skills to shape the morals and character of students to be better. Therefore, Hindu Religious Education and Budi Pekerti have a very big role in shaping student character by doing direct practice or holding extracurricular activities related to religion. The application of Hindu Religious Education and Budi Pekerti can also be seen from the habits, actions and behavior of students. Hinduism and Budi Pekerti education teachers can provide education that leads to the development of morals and ethics for students in the teaching and learning process. The implementation of the application of Hinduism and Budi Pekerti values provided by teachers at school to shape student character can be seen from the habits of students at school, at home and in the community.

Abstract

This research analyzes Maximal Volume of Oxygen (VO2 Max) as the main variable to measure the aerobic capacity of martial arts athletes from the Gorontalo Contingent. This variable is important for understanding the level of cardiovascular fitness and physical endurance capabilities of athletes in facing training and competition. This research uses descriptive analytical research methods. The total number of subjects was nine athletes including four Taekwondo athletes, two Wushu athletes, one athlete Kickboxing, one athlete Karate and one athlete Muaythai. The instrument used in this research is the Bleep Test with classification norms using a bleep test calculator. Meanwhile, descriptive data analysis used SPSS 25 software. The results of this research for Taekwondo athletes were two above average, two were good. Wushu one average, one below average. Average kickboxing. Good karate. Muay Thai is average. In conclusion, Taekwondo athletes show a VO2 max that is generally higher compared to athletes from other disciplines. These results demonstrate the importance of personalized training programs to optimize cardiovascular fitness and performance in athletes. Further research with a more comprehensive approach is needed to strengthen and expand understanding of the influence of VO2 max on the performance of martial arts athletes.
