Abstract

Nilai karakter menjadi dasar penting untuk membentuk kepribadian anak, terutama di zaman modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses internalisasi nilai Aswaja, khususnya nilai tawadhu’ (rendah hati), melalui pembiasaan perilaku pada anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Muslimat NU 6 Hambaliyah Donomulyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah dan anak, serta kuesioner kepada orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembiasaan melalui pendekatan learn by doing, positive reinforcement, dan pemodelan oleh guru maupun orang tua, efektif dalam menanamkan perilaku tawadhu’. Anak menunjukkan perkembangan bertahap, dari mengenal konsep, meniru perilaku, hingga menerapkannya secara mandiri dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, pembiasaan perilaku positif yang konsisten dan kolaboratif merupakan strategi efektif dalam membentuk karakter anak yang moderat dan berakhlak mulia sejak dini. Character values are a crucial foundation for shaping a child's personality, especially in the modern era. This study aims to describe the process of internalizing Aswaja values, particularly the value of tawadhu’ (humility), through habituation of behavior in children aged 5–6 years at TK Muslimat NU 6 Hambaliyah Donomulyo.This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using participatory observation, interviews with the principal and children, as well as questionnaires distributed to parents.The results show that habituation strategies through the learn by doing approach, positive reinforcement, and modeling by both teachers and parents are effective in instilling tawadhu’ behavior. Children demonstrated gradual development—from understanding the concept, imitating behavior, to applying it independently in daily life.In conclusion, consistent and collaborative positive behavior habituation is an effective strategy in shaping children’s character to become moderate and morally upright from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the creativity of 5–6-year-old children through the creation of collage art from dry leaf waste at TK Muslimat NU 12 Az–Zahra Jabung. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. Each Cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In Cycle I, the children were still passive and lacked confidence in their work. However, in Cycle II, after implementing a more exploratory and enjoyable learning approach, there was a significant improvement in imagination, courage to express ideas, and the ability to arrange shapes. The research results indicate that the use of dried leaf waste as an art medium is effective in stimulating children's creativity and fostering environmental awareness. This activity also encourages independence and cooperation among children.

Abstract

Anak usia dini berada pada masa perkembangan yang sangat krusial, terutama dalam kemampuan kognitif seperti daya ingat. Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah memengaruhi kebiasaan belajar anak, sehingga beberapa anak mengalami penurunan konsentrasi dan daya ingat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan daya ingat anak usia 4–5 tahun melalui media number card di KB Mentari. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, melibatkan kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan number card sebagai media visual konkret dan interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan number card secara efektif merangsang daya ingat anak melalui pengulangan, asosiasi visual, dan aktivitas bermain yang bermakna. Media ini fleksibel dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran individual maupun kelompok, sehingga mendukung berbagai gaya belajar anak. Dengan penerapan yang konsisten, number card tidak hanya meningkatkan daya ingat tetapi juga membantu anak mengenal angka, menyusun urutan bilangan, dan mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif secara menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kreatif untuk mendukung perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the listening comprehension skills of 5-6-year-old children at TK Mutiara Hati Ngantang through the storytelling method using digital storybooks. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the spiral model of Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of two cycles, each with two meetings. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman data analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show a significant improvement in the children’s listening comprehension after the implementation of the digital storybook storytelling method. In the initial observation, only 33.3% of children were categorized as emerging. However, in cycle 1, the first meeting showed a 40% improvement, and the second meeting reached 53.3%. Cycle 2 showed even greater progress, with the first meeting achieving 66.6% and the second meeting reaching 86.6%. These results indicate that the use of digital storybooks effectively helps children comprehend the story content, retell the story in the correct sequence, and follow more complex instructions. In conclusion, the storytelling method using digital storybooks is proven to be an effective tool in improving listening comprehension skills in 5-6-year-old children. The significant improvements in listening comprehension, along with the children’s increased enthusiasm and focus, highlight the potential of digital storybooks as an engaging and interactive learning medium for early childhood education.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karakter berbasis Profil Pelajar Pancasila di Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) melalui penerapan pendekatan deep learning. Selama ini, pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar cenderung teoritis dan kurang kontekstual. Pendekatan deep learning diterapkan untuk mendorong pembelajaran yang bermakna, reflektif, dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode mixed methods melalui observasi, wawancara, serta pre-test dan post-test. Pre-test mengukur pemahaman awal guru tentang pendidikan karakter berbasis P5, sedangkan post-test menilai peningkatan setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 65 menjadi 87. Guru juga lebih termotivasi dan terampil merancang pembelajaran karakter yang reflektif dan kontekstual. Pendekatan deep learning terbukti efektif meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan karakter dan dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

The low ability to read letters at preschool age, it should be a special concern. Indeed, the educational materials provided by the teacher do not arouse the decline in students' interest in learning to improve children's ability to read letters, this includes the ability to read the ability to identify various known letter symbols, recognize the initial letter sounds of the names of objects around them, give names to pictures whose initial sounds or letters are similar, also understand the relationship between sounds and letter symbols. Using picture card media, according to the author, as a learning support tool can help children improve their reading skills. This study aims to identify the effect of using picture word cards on the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. The research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten using a multi-method research approach. The sample of this study amounted to 22 children in group B of Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. This classroom action research activity begins with action planning (planning), implementing action (acting), observing (observing), and reflecting (reflecting). This activity then rotates until the expected results. This research uses the PTK model, collaborative Classroom Action Research, where researchers and teachers work together to solve classroom problems. In the first cycle of meetings, an average of 52.2% was obtained, and in the second cycle of meetings, an average of 69.9% was obtained. In the second cycle of meetings, the average obtained 75%, and increased to 80.1% when obtaining a score of 75%. The results showed that children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency could improve their literacy skills by playing picture cards. Based on the results of research and discussion about the application of picture card playing activities to improve the ability to read letters in Group B children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency can be concluded, literacy skills with picture card playing activities based on the results of cycle I 52.2%, then cycle II 80.1% this shows if there is an increase of 27.9%.

Abstract

Children aged 5-6 years have literacy skills, including having vocabulary, recognizing literacy or letter symbols in preparation for reading and writing, counting, making simple sentences, having many words to express their ideas to others. Literacy is a part of language development. For this reason, it is necessary to develop language/literacy skills in early childhood. The research methodology used is Class Action Research. The study was conducted in several stages, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and Cycle 2. Data collection techniques taken by way of observation and documentation. The assessment indicators started from undeveloped, began to develop, developed as expected, and developed very well. Students of Tkit Robbani Group B Rombel Ilyas literacy and language skills, especially knowing literacy, increased by 85% from the number of 15 students. The child already knows the Letters, connects the sounds of letters and symbols of letters, reads syllables. Children are also more active when communicating in every activity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of this waste sorting program in instilling the character of environmental care, introducing children to the problems that occur in the environment around children, what are the impacts of waste, introducing the types of waste, so that children are able to distinguish between organic and non-organic waste and know what can be utilized from non-organic and organic waste, as well as knowing the inhibiting and supporting factors of this program. The research method here uses descriptive qualitative methods to explore the impact of the socialization of sorting this waste on early childhood totaling 34 at KB Agung Kencana. This research is expected to provide an understanding of the impact of environmental damage due to waste, how to separate waste according to its type, and its management. In addition, children are also given direct experience in the process of sorting and managing waste and cleaning the surrounding environment. As a result of this research, the socialization of sorting waste is one of the teacher's efforts to instill the character of environmental care in early childhood. So that students will have an environmental care character that plays an important role in preserving the environment. This activity not only provides an understanding of the adverse effects of waste and how to separate it by type, but also provides direct experience in the process of sorting and managing waste and maintaining environmental cleanliness. In its implementation, the supporting factor is the commitment and support of parents in the waste sorting process, while the inhibiting factor is the limited facilities and infrastructure for waste management.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in preparing the golden generation to uphold Pancasila values as an integral part of promoting local wisdom. This study used a qualitative approach, a method that produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words obtained from the behavior of the people observed. The term descriptive here refers to efforts to collect data aimed at providing accurate interpretations, thereby obtaining a clear picture of the events being studied. Early childhood tends to imitate the behavior of adults around them, especially parents. Therefore, the appropriateness of the values taught greatly affects the effectiveness of the value instillation process. Each principle of Pancasila can be introduced to children through simple but meaningful activities. The discussion revealed that parents play a role in instilling the values of Pancasila in children through the following applications: (1) Inviting children to do activities together, such as inviting them to pray together at the mosque accompanied by both parents. (2) Setting an example for children in applying Pancasila values in daily life, so that children imitate the behavior exemplified by their parents. (3) Accustoming children to practicing Pancasila values in daily life, so that children become accustomed to doing so without coercion from their parents.

Abstract

This self-confidence is an important foundation for children in facing life's challenges and fostering a strong sense of self-confidence. The problem encountered in this study was low self-confidence in children, as evidenced by their lack of participation in storytelling activities in front of their peers. This study aimed to increase children's self-confidence through the application of role-playing. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach and was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 children in Group B at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 3 Kindergarten, Ampelgading. The results of Cycle I were 53.3%. Therefore, in Cycle II, the role-playing topic was changed to "I Am a Trader," giving children the freedom to organize the space, assign roles, and carry out activities. Observations showed an increase in completion rate to 80%. This study proves that role-playing is effective in increasing children's self-confidence by strengthening social interactions and providing enjoyable experiences tailored to their interests.
