Abstract

The design work of this thesis aims to teach the importance of vegetable benefits as a media education for children aged 6-12 years. The selected media educational board game because it can facilitate the learning process and absoroption of information to children because it’s supported by enjoyable atmosphere and also can grow familiarity. Using board game which is exciting and interactive as a safe learning media to convey information about the importance of vegetables would be more efficient. This game is peddled with attractive illustration to attract the interest of children who are the target audience.Keywords: Education, Vegetables, Family Games, Board Game and Children.

Abstract

Sedati is a kecamatan in Sidoarjo is located in coastal areas that have marine resources in the field of fisheries and ponds to boost the economy of the surrounding community. Subdistrict Sedati is one area that has quite a lot of tourism potential that varies, one artificial tourism, culinary tourism, religious tourism, education tourism and shopping tourism. But the presence of all the tourism potential is not yet known by tourists except the fishing tour that is already known by many tourists outside of the city. Therefore, to demonstrate the potential of its tourism Sedati need for media that can provide information on the whereabouts of tourism potential Sedati, so the presence of the media and information such as tourism potential can be known by the public and tourists can visit these sights, media the right to show the potential of the Sedati that is by designing a travel book Sedati. The concept used in the design of this Sedati travel book is "Delight" or fun, the concept of "Delight" has the meaning that the attraction located in Sedati can give pleasure, comfort and joy. Abstract

Surabaya is known as the City of Heroes because it has a long history during the war of independence 10 November 1945. But many do not know that after the war of independence many historical buildings that witnessed history in liberating the city of Surabaya, for example there are still more than 200 buildings recorded today As a relic and protected by the government of Surabaya and still not many of these buildings are in the know history The purpose of the digital illustration book design of this historic building is to produce a book that contains information about the existence of historical buildings that are not known history and development goals by adolescents and the wider community. The results of this book design of digital illustrations of historic buildings can be one of the media that can inform about the existence of historical buildings that are not known history and development goals by teenagers and the wider community, as well as a medium of introduction of historic buildings to teenagers in the city of Surabaya.Keyword: Illustration Book, History Lesson, Historical Building

Abstract

Surabaya can be the learning object to study about how metropolitan city manage their area so that it has the existence of suitable green open space, concerning the fact that it has important role for environment. It is associated with the way the government of Surabaya City maintain and sought the existence of green open space in the middle of high land requirements as the Metropolitan City. Green open space is the most needed thing especially in urban area. The benefit of keeping the green environment especially in urban area is: direct benefit (within the meaning of quick and tangible) is shaping beauty and comfort (shady, fresh and cool) and gaining thing to be sold (woods, flowers and fruits), indirect benefit (long term and intangible), which is cleaning the air effectively, conserving and continuance of groundwater supply, preserving environmental function along with the content of flora and fauna exist (biological conservation and diversity). Keywords: Photography Essay Book, Green Open Space, Surabaya City, Enjoyable.

Abstract

PT. Reksa Abadi Bersama or known as RAB group, is a company that serve in supply material especially for limestone, they hold distribution among Indonesia. The problem is RAB group needs identity design concept that for the identity of the company known by customers, especially hearts sale to all customer. RAB Group is a newborn company and needs identity system design and media to the promotion. That design objectives for the review to know how to design identity media and sale as an attempt to improve customers at brand awareness. Designing using qualitative methods, observation, depth interview, and to review existing studies found the formulation of concept designing. From the data found the findings excellence analisisa products to the audience will be communicated to all customers. Make promotion and design activities corporate identity don’t known reason why the RAB Group excellence unknown. The taxable income processing data analysis found keyword design concept "Dynamic", which means someone has spirit, energetic, motivated, and easy to customize the self. Which "Dynamic" explained that expected and takes customers dynamic and modern, all-effective life & style, the process is efficient, and reliable. Audiences are given fantastic visual display, imaginative thinking, and something incredible communication using enabled and aggressive. Abstract

Traditional market has been one of Indonesian nation culture. Traditional market is not a difficult thing to find its existence including the city of Surabaya. Many lessons can be learn in the activities that exist in traditional markets, one of them in terms of humanism. But now teenagers is very rarely to visit traditional markets, especially in the Surabaya. Traditional market has own uniqueness that can be a learning for the people, especially teenagers. Therefore, this research is intended for the create of humanism-based photography book as an effort to awaken the empathy of Surabaya teenagers. The teenagers will be the next generation, so as to maintain the existence of traditional markets and workers for the future. In this study authors use a qualitative research methodology that emphasizes the aspect of  understanding a problem rather than looking at the problem for generalization research. This research method prioritizes in-depth analysis techniques, examines the problems in one case because qualitative methodology knowing that the character of a problem will be different from the character of the other problem. The results of this photography book is expected people, especially teenagers can bring a sense of empathy and appreciate their efforts, especially the traditional market workers who became the object of this research.Keywords: Traditional Market, Humanism, Photography, Empthy

Abstract

Remo dance is an opening dance of an event and dance typical of East Java that has meaning about the courage of a prince. Remo dance can be obtained from within a person's soul and the emotions that represent the people of East Java. Remo dance started in District Diwek, Ceweng, Jombang regency in 1850. originally this dance was created by some singers dance at that time. In the era of Cak Durasim in 1927 Remo dance was successfully performed in Surabaya society which was presented in the opening of Ludruk theater and other cultural performances.                The lack of public understanding of the meaning of the Remo Dance movement attracts researchers to preserve local culture with the cultural conditions of Indonesia that are beginning to disappear by outside cultural values, aimed at not being eroded by the times. The development of the current era is more advanced, especially people living in big cities know less and understand about traditional dance dance Remo. This is due to the lack of insight into the traditional dance arts that are consumed by modern times today, due to the less desirable cultural preservation. The displacement of traditional art by the development of the times can be understood because the exposure to the community is less informative.                The purpose of the researcher is to design the story photography of remo dance book as an effort to preserve the traditional dance arts of Surabaya with a focus on the meaning of a movement and the meaning contained within the movement.                From the results of the analysis of the data then the concept obtained is Expressive which has a meaning as a picture or expression of traditional art Remo dance. and then,  the story photography of remo dance book designed by investigators as evidence Surabaya preserve traditional dance arts that have an authentic cultural values strong      Keywords : Story Photography, Remo Dance, Expressive, Surabaya Traditional Dance

Abstract

Bagasi Helm Alternatif pada sepeda motor online menjadi sangat penting bagi ojek online. Sepeda motor tahun keluaran terbaru pada dasarnya sudah menyediakan tempat penyimpanan helm. Hanya saja tidak difungsikan sesuai dengan rancangan awal. Bagasi banyak digunakan untuk menyimpan properti yang tidak berkaitan dengan helm, sehingga tidak menyisakan ruang untuk menyimpan helm cadangan. Penempatan helm cadangan secara sembarangan selama berkendara, akan membahayakan kemananan dan kenyamanan pengendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang desain produk bagasi helm alternatif. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penetapan sampel untuk data primer menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Dalam hal ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi partisipatif pasif. Informan data dilakukan terhadap akademisi, praktisi, dan pengendara ojek online. Pengambilan data sekunder menggunakan metode kuesioner dan observasi partisipatif pasif. Pengembangan ide desain menggunakan metode SCAMPER. Aspek yang akan diteliti meliputi: ruang penyimpanan helm (berupa Fisik Produk, Desain, Gaya, dan Fitur), dan driver ojek online (berupa perilaku ojek online, motivasi, persepsi, preferensi, dan harapan pengguna). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Bagasi Helm Alternatif telah memberikan kemudahan operasional, handal, aman, dan bersifat water resistance. Kuncian Bagasi Helm Alternatif menggunakan konsep green design dengan bentuk dasar span sekrup. Bagasi Helm Alternatif memanfaatkan tali wabbing bisban dan tali karet fleksibel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi imajinasi tentang perempuan dalam media poster Singapore Girl yang dilakukan oleh maskapai Singapore Airlines. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi poster tersebut yang berkaitan dengan imajinasi perempuan dalam iklan poster Singapore Girls yang dihubungkan dengan nilai individu dan nilai perusahaan. Penelitian yang berhubungan dengan media above the line dan yang dikaitkan dengan nilai diri belum pernah dilakukan. Penelitian yang ada berhubungan lebih menekankan terhadap nilai individu dan berhubungan dengan nilai perusahaan dan tidak menggunakan media poster. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metodologi visual dengan site of image it self pada tataran modality social. Site of image it self merupakan pemaknaan dari sudut pandang peneliti. Peneliti dalam hal ini bersifat tunggal tidak berfungsi sebagai audien dalam mengintepretasikan visual image yang dihubungkan dengan konteks. Dengan mendasarkan pada realitas sosial, peneliti harus aktif mengamati gambar, tanda dan mengaitkannya dengan konteks untuk mengidentifikasikan tujuan pesan disampaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Semiotika Roland Barthes sebagai pisau bedah atau unit analisis. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati poster iklan secara mendalam, yang dilanjutkan dengan mengamati potongan-potongan gambar yang akan dianalisis berdasarkan referensi-referensi yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa poster iklan Singapore Girls pada maskapai Singapore Airlines memiliki konotasi great individual value dan great corporate Value pada tataran pertama. Pada tataran kedua great individual value adalah mitos. Inilah gambaran paradoks tentang great individual value dan great corporate value hasil konstruksi media yang tidak terlepas dari politik ekonomi yang berhubungan dengan kapitalis.

Abstract

Destinasi wisata desa pujiharjo memiliki potensi alam yang menarik, baik untuk wisata baik keluarga, pelajar, mahasiswa dan karyawan yang setiap hari sibuk dengan suasana perkotaan. Dari sisi sosial budaya masyarakat desa Pujiharjo hidup berdampingan secara damai antara aliran kepercayaan satu dengan yang lain. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pengelola destinasi wisata yang berkaitan dengan implementasi identitas visual pada media promosi. Metode yang diterapkan adalah forum discussion group dan observasi untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan dengan mitra. Luaran pada pengabdian ini adalah desain brosur, X-banner, T-Shirt, tote bag dan gantungan kunci. Dampak yang implementasi media promosi blm bisa dirasakan, mengingat media promosi ini diciptakan untuk menyambut antusiasme masyarakat pasca pandemi covid-19. Desain media promosi sebagai sarana pengelola destinasi wisata desa wisata Pujiharjo untuk mempromosikan ke masyarakat luar wilayah.
