Abstract

The attitude of students who throw their rubbish carelessly and students' perceptions regarding the sanitation of their environment, the lack of providing rubbish bins in classrooms and the school environment, and the lack of hand washing places with running water and soap.  The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between students' perceptions and attitudes towards environmental sanitation at SD Negeri 2 Katobengke, Baubau City.  This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional design.  The sample in this study was 120 students consisting of 41 elementary school students in class IV, 33 students in class V, and 46 class VI students.  Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test at a confidence level of 95% or α = 0.05.  The results of this research show that there is a relationship between students' perceptions of environmental sanitation with a significant value of p value = 0.001 <α = 0.05 and there is a relationship with students' attitudes towards environmental sanitation with a significant value of p value = 0.000 <α = 0.05.  In this research, there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions and attitudes towards environmental sanitation at SD Negeri 2 Katobengke, Baubau City.

Abstract

The use of information technology in education has great potential to improve the quality of teaching and learning. However, there are various significant challenges that must be overcome to achieve this goal. This study identified six main challenges in implementing information technology in education: access and infrastructure gaps, unequal digital competencies, data security and privacy issues, implementation and maintenance costs, adaptation of curriculum and teaching methods, and resistance to change. Addressing these challenges requires special attention, including providing equitable access, intensive training, strong data security policies, adequate budget allocation, and systematic changes in curriculum and teaching methods. By implementing the right strategy and collaboration between stakeholders, information technology can play an optimal role in transforming education to be more adaptive, inclusive and effective.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of religiously charged pictorial story teaching materials on learning achievement. The subject of this research was the 1st-grade students of SD Neg. 31 Pusuea with a total of 14 students. The teaching material used is a picture book containing religious values. This study used experimental research methods with the research design used as pre-experiment one group pre-test-posttest. The test questions were in the form of multiple choices with a total of 20 questions. Data analysis used Normalized Gain Test. The results showed that the total pretest score of all students was 1890 and the total post-test score of all students was 2480. These results were processed using the N-Gain formula and reached a value of 0.53 with the interpretation of "Medium", with these results there was a significant increase in student achievement by using illustrated story teaching materials with religious values. It can be concluded that teaching materials containing religious values are effective on student achievement in grade 1 SD Neg. 31 Pusuea.

Abstract

Fenomena masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Penurunan Jumlah Pengunjung. Pada tahun 2022, Perpustakaan Daerah Kecamatan Daha Selatan menerima 15.161 pengunjung, namun pada tahun 2023 jumlah ini menurun menjadi 14.407. Penurunan jumlah pengunjung, jumlah peminjam buku juga mengalami penurunan yang signifikan, dari 1.870 peminjam pada tahun 2022 menjadi hanya 866 peminjam pada tahun 2023. Penurunan Jumlah Anggota Baru Perpustakaan, Pada tahun 2022, perpustakaan mencatat 917 anggota baru yang membuat kartu anggota. Namun, pada tahun 2023 terjadi penurunan signifikan, dengan hanya 281 anggota baru yang terdaftar. Tujuan untuk mengetahui Strategi Peningkatan Minat Baca Melalui Pengembangan Layanan Perpustakaan Di Era Digital dan Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data diambil melalui penarikan snowbal sampling berjumlah 10 orang informan. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian di analisis dengan teknik meliputi redukasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan. Uji kredibilitas data pada penelitian ini perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Strategi Peningkatan Minat Baca Melalaui Pengembangan Layanan Perpustakaan di Era Digital Kecamatan Daha Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan belum baik karena masih ada kendala. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikator pertama, Advantage (Keunggulan) meliputi strategi yang dijalankan oleh Perpustakaan Daha Selatan belum baik yang mana terlihat dari strategi yang dijalankan belum sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan kurangnya pelatihan kepada pegawai perpustakaan. Peluang yang ada di Perpustakaan Daha Selatan belum baik. Kedua, Consonance (Kesesuaian) meliputi Kesesuaian Lingkungan belum cukup baik. Respons Terhadap Perubahan belum baik. Ketiga, Consistency (Konsistensi) meliputi Kebijakan yang ada di Perpustakaan sudah baik. Tujuan dari Perpustakaan Daha Selatan sudah baik. Keempat, Feasibility (Kelayakan) meliputi Sumber-sumber yang ada di Perpustakaan belum baik. Risiko yang dihadapi Perpustakaan Daha Selatan belum baik. Faktor penghambat Kurangnya akses dan infrastruktur, Masalah penggunaan platfrom, Kurangnya sosialisasi dan promosi dan Kurangnya fitur interaktif. Sedangkan factor pendukung adalah Fasilitas yang Modern dan Nyaman dan Kerja Sama Yang Sinergis HSS dengan PT. Woolu Aksaramaya Jakarta.

Abstract

Anatomy of curriculum is described as the components that must be present in every curriculum that can be used for the learning process. They are objectives of the curriculum, materials of teaching, contents of the curriculum, strategies or methods, media and evaluation and improvement of teaching. These components are interconnected to one another. Each component has a content which is very important for the continuity of the curriculum. One of the most important parts of the curriculum is procces of learning as an empowering or enable the students. Thus, the need for active and participatory interaction between students and academic material or with a certain situation so that matter can be transformed into the learning experience of students.

Abstract

The introduction of the state of the environment, society, and culture to students enabling them to more to their environment. The introduction and development of the environment through education geared to support the quality of human resources, and ultimately directed to improve the ability of learners. School as a place of education program, a part of the community. Therefore, education programs in schools need to provide extensive knowledge about the specificity of the learners in their environment. Subjects should be made based on local content prepared by the school environment that is tailored to each area. The function of the existence of local content is to broaden the knowledge of students in accordance with the condition of the area. Local content is one of the means for students to develop the knowledge, skills and potential of art owned by the school and the area in which the school is located. Application of local curriculum between one region to another is different. To realize local content -based education at a school needs support with all relevant stakeholders and continuously evaluates to develop the potential of the region. It is not impossible a local charge when packaged in a professional manner will carry the name of the region to national and even international level. Required more in-depth study and togetherness between schools, communities, local governments for the successful implementation of the local content -based education.

Abstract

Penggunaan komputer berisiko tinggi menyebabkan gangguan pada pergelangan tangan, seperti Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). CTS adalah kondisi yang terjadi akibat tekanan pada nervus medianus di pergelangan tangan, yang memicu rasa nyeri pada sendi. Gangguan ini sering kali disebabkan oleh penggunaan keyboard dan mouse dalam jangka waktu panjang selama bertahun-tahun. Menjaga posisi pergelangan tangan tetap ergonomis saat mengetik dan menggunakan mouse sangat penting untuk mencegah CTS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan posisi pergelangan tangan dan durasi kerja saat mengetik terhadap risiko terjadinya Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode observasional analitik menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode total sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 karyawan, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square.   Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 10 karyawan (28,6%) dengan postur kerja yang baik, sedangkan  25 karyawan (71,4%) memiliki postur kerja yang buruk. Selain itu, sebanyak 22 karyawan dengan durasi kerja berisiko, kemudian 25 karyawan (71,4%) memiliki risiko CTS, sementara 10  karyawan (28,6%) tidak berisiko CTS. Berdasarkan uji chi-square, diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), sehingga secara statistik disimpulkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara posisi pergelangan tangan  dan durasi kerja saat mengetik dengan risiko terjadinya Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS).

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam membentuk nilai-nilai sosial siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar. IPS memiliki fungsi strategis dalam memperkenalkan siswa pada kehidupan bermasyarakat dan menanamkan nilai sosial seperti gotong royong, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, yang mengkaji berbagai sumber jurnal ilmiah, artikel pendidikan, serta buku ajar yang relevan. Fokus kajian meliputi: (1) makna nilai sosial dalam konteks pembelajaran IPS, (2) bentuk pembelajaran yang efektif dalam menumbuhkan nilai sosial, dan (3) peran guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai tersebut melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas 5 SD. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial secara bertahap dan kontekstual melalui pendekatan tematik, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, serta kegiatan berbasis proyek sosial. Guru berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku sosial siswa melalui keteladanan, pemberian tugas kolaboratif, serta pembiasaan kegiatan sosial di kelas dan lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan model pembiayaan pendidikan antara negara berkembang dan negara maju melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menggunakan protokol PRISMA 2020. Studi ini menelaah perbedaan struktur pendanaan, tantangan implementasi, serta dampaknya terhadap akses dan kualitas pendidikan. Literatur yang relevan dikumpulkan dari berbagai basis data internasional dan dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola utama dalam kebijakan pembiayaan pendidikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam pendekatan pendanaan, di mana negara berkembang cenderung mengadopsi model hibrid dengan tantangan efisiensi dan ketergantungan pada sumber eksternal, sedangkan negara maju lebih banyak menerapkan sistem pendanaan berbasis kinerja dan akuntabilitas. Analisis tematik yang komprehensif menghasilkan identifikasi 7 kategori utama yang menjadi kerangka analisis, meliputi: (1) alokasi anggaran pendidikan pada berbagai tingkat pemerintahan, (2) inovasi dalam mekanisme pembiayaan pendidikan, (3) tata kelola dan akuntabilitas dana pendidikan, (4) kesenjangan akses dan kualitas pendidikan, (5) dampak pandemi COVID-19 terhadap anggaran pendidikan, (6) peran sektor swasta dalam pembiayaan pendidikan, dan (7) keberlanjutan model pembiayaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya reformasi kebijakan di negara berkembang melalui penguatan desentralisasi fiskal, pemanfaatan teknologi untuk pemantauan anggaran, serta pengembangan kemitraan publik-swasta yang terintegrasi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi empiris dalam pengembangan model pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan mampu meningkatkan pemerataan akses serta mutu pendidikan di tingkat global.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder caused by chronic malnutrition, especially during the first 1,000 days of life. Protein, as one of the main macronutrients, plays a crucial role in muscle and bone growth as well as tissue repair, which can help prevent stunting. Based on observations in Sendangagung Village, 58 out of 375 toddlers monitored were found to be stunted. This condition is caused by a lack of parental knowledge and other factors such as economic, social, and cultural aspects. This community service activity aims to increase public awareness regarding the importance of stunting prevention. In addition, the community is expected to improve their skills in processing plant-based and animal-based proteins using local food sources as a nutritional intervention to prevent stunting. The activity was carried out from July to August 2024 at the Multipurpose Building of Sendangagung Village. Education was delivered through audiovisual presentations using PowerPoint, followed by pre-tests and post-tests. Meanwhile, practical sessions on processing plant-based and animal-based proteins into supplementary foods were conducted participatively by involving all participants directly. The average pre-test score of participants was 10.24, while the average post-test score was 13.36. The results of the paired t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. It can be concluded that there was an improvement in participants' knowledge after the counseling and assistance. Moreover, participants were able to process plant-based and animal-based proteins into food products that help prevent stunting. There was an increase in participants' knowledge and skills regarding stunting prevention through local food-based protein processing. Therefore, community assistance is an effective method in efforts to prevent stunting.
