Abstract

Resources in the project were definitely limited so planning must be thorough and perfect. To achieve this goal, developers, contractors, and project owners create a project implementation schedule as well as control the implementation of the project itself. Scheduling determines when activities will be started, postponed and completed, so that resource control will be adjusted to the needed that had been determined. In project planning, scheduling was very important in projecting the needed of manpower, materials, and equipment. This study aims to assess project scheduling in general based on literature sources in the form of previous research (journals). The method used in this study was a literature study related to scheduling studies based on construction projects. Data were obtained from several library sources in the form of research journals for the last 5 years related to the research topic. The results showed that each method was complementary, such as LoB combined with CPM or PDM. In scheduling a construction project, a combination of methods needed to be applied to suit the desired construction project.

Abstract

The selection of contractors will affect the performance of the project to be implemented. The criteria for selecting a contractor consist of 3 factors, namely Factor 1 which includes accuracy, reputation, and cooperation relationships, Factor 2 which includes knowledge of work, work ability, initiative, and social ability as well as Factor 3 which includes work experience, control, and commitment. This study aims to analyze the criteria for selecting contractors that affect the performance of construction projects. This research was conducted using quantitative methods by conducting field surveys or field studies. The sample population in this study was Seba Pier Port Facilities Project, Sabu Raijua, NTT Owner as many as 57 people. The analysis technique in this study was Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the research and discussion can be concluded that The criteria for selecting a contractor that affects the performance of a construction project are price, financial capability, equipment support, and contractor performance. Meanwhile, the criteria for experience and occupational safety and health (K3) do not affect the performance of construction projects. Meanwhile, if the contractor had the appropriate benchmark price, financial capability, equipment support, and performance of the contractor, then the performance of the construction project will certainly be good.

Abstract

Road infrastructure is the lifeblood of a region's economy because it connects and increases the movement of people and goods. Traffic jams in the city of Gresik fall into the severe category. This is evidenced by the long queues of vehicles and the time it takes to decompose traffic jams for hours. The Gresik Regency Government, through the Highways Public Works and Water Resources Office, needs to carry out systematic and appropriate planning to overcome the above problems. Maintenance is carried out by preparation, topographic survey, traffic survey, and then the calculation of the pavement plan. From the analysis results obtained CBR subgrade = 3%; DDT = 4; IP = 2.5; FR = 1.0; LER = 2.18; ITP = 9.5; Ipo = 3.9 – 3.5. After the calculations, we obtained a 10 cm asphalt surface layer (4 cm ACWC, 6 cm ACBC) and 20 cm CTB fill for leveling.

Abstract

Samarinda City has a total of 123 housing estates with 20 subsidized housing (MBR) and 4 mixed housing. Project scheduling in construction greatly determines the project's success because it is a benchmark that the project is successful within the allotted time. CPM (Critical Path Method). CPM is a method that introduces an element of project time by using a predefined activity time estimate. This method is used for crushing the Bukit Mulya housing project, which only applies to the implementation of crash time. From the analysis results, the initial scheduling time, which was originally 87 days, was trimmed by 9 days using CPM, the optimal time was 78 days.

Abstract

The development of road or toll road infrastructure in a country can be used as a benchmark to determine the level of economic progress of a country, both macro and micro. The location of toll exits has a significant effect in absorbing labor and creating new business activities. Projects are dynamic, so contractors must be responsive to changes in situations and conditions on the project, if they want to succeed in reaping optimum profits. Aspects of planning a highly competitive construction at this time are very demanding on accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency, and economy in analyzing a project. In the world of construction projects, there are many things that can be done, one of which is cost control. In controlling costs, efforts can be made so that the realization of costs that occur is in accordance with the needs of implementation and is not excessive, such as cost suppression efforts, namely making savings without reducing quantity or quality. The Earned Value Method is used to determine project performance in terms of costs at one time, determine project performance in terms of schedule/time at one time, estimate costs to complete the project after the evaluation time and estimate the time to complete the project after the evaluation. In this research the author carried out a cost analysis using the Earned Value Method on the preservation of the Section 5 Pandaan Malang Toll Exit Road.

Abstract

Infrastructure development plays a very important role as capital in efforts to stimulate increased economic productivity, both at the national and regional levels, as well as reducing unemployment, alleviating people from poverty and of course improving the standard of living of the community at large. Delays in completing a project are a problem that often arises and can have an impact on the entire work, especially with time delays resulting in increased costs which can be detrimental to many parties. This delay also occurred in the Kapas-Glendeng 8 bridge construction project, Bojonegoro Regency. In anticipation of these delays, it is necessary to accelerate time and costs. In this research the author uses the crashing method with the alternative of increasing working hours. The crashing method is a way of estimating cost variables to determine the maximum and most economical reduction in the duration of an activity that is still possible to reduce. The research results showed that the total time and cost of the project required after crashing was 174 calendar days with a cost under accelerated conditions of Rp. 2,555,189,555.98 with a difference of 6 calendar days from the normal duration of 180 calendar days and a fee under normal conditions of Rp. 2,548,581,990.63.

Abstract

The calculation of indirect costs carried out by contractors so far has no reference or there is no standardized design to be a benchmark. For this reason, researchers will analyze the primary and secondary data of this study to determine the indirect costs of direct costs or against the contractors' contracts. This study analyzes the amount of indirect costs in the Kanor District Sports Facilities Development project of Bojonegoro Regency and looks for a relationship between indirect costs and bid prices with time performance on the Kanor District Sports Facilities Development project of Bojonegoro Regency. This research method uses data processing and indirect cost RAB making. and using analysis methods with linear regression statistical analysis. Indirect costs in the Kanor District Sports Facilities Development project are allocated to 4 (four) main things, namely tax and insurance costs (61.49%), risk costs (7.21%), and overhead costs (8.62%), general costs (8.325) quality costs 4.36%) where the percentage is calculated from the total amount of indirect costs. From the linear regression analysis it can be concluded that indirect costs affect the project work time. Bid price has no effect on project work time. Indirect costs and bid prices affect the time of work.
