Abstract

AMPM Reborn, a coffee shop in Sidoarjo, faces recurring long queues during weekends, especially on Saturdays between 19:00–23:00. Customer waiting times reach 20–30 minutes, with queues extending up to 24 people, leading to reduced customer comfort and decreased service efficiency. This study aims to design a UI/UX website-based ordering system as a digital solution to streamline the ordering process and reduce physical queues. The research adopts the Design Thinking approach through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, ensuring that the developed design aligns with user needs. A prototype was created using Figma and evaluated through usability testing to assess its effectiveness and ease of use. The results present an intuitive and efficient interface design that is expected to minimize waiting times and enhance overall customer satisfaction at AMPM Reborn.

Abstract

Rata-rata indeks produktivitas selama enam periode sebesar 0,586%. Faktor yang memengaruhi penurunan produktivitas meliputi manusia, material, mesin, lingkungan kerja, dan metode kerja. Upaya perbaikan yang disarankan meliputi peningkatan disiplin kerja, perawatan mesin rutin, pengoptimalan penggunaan energi listrik, serta perbaikan metode dan lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze the productivity level of water-based paint production at PT Pabrik Cat Tunggal Djaja Indah using the Objective Matrix (OMAX), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods. The research problem is based on the failure to achieve the water-based paint production target in several months during the period from July to December 2025. The OMAX method was used to measure productivity based on seven ratios, namely raw material utilization, working hours, production effectiveness, product quality, machine operating time, labor, and electrical energy. AHP was used to determine the priority weight of each criterion, while RCA through a Fishbone Diagram was used to identify the root causes of low productivity. The results showed that production productivity fluctuated, with the highest value recorded in September at 5.4559 and the lowest value recorded in July at 1.9783. Factors affecting low productivity included inefficient raw material utilization, machine downtime, defective products, suboptimal labor utilization, and unstable electrical energy consumption. The proposed improvements include raw material supervision, implementation of preventive maintenance, improvement of operator skills, production quality control, SOP evaluation, and optimization of electrical energy use. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a basis for continuous improvement in water-based paint production productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production line balance to minimize bottlenecks and waiting times in the cardboard packaging production process at PT. XYZ. The initial production line, consisting of 5 workstations, exhibited low efficiency, with a line efficiency of 40.84%, a balance delay of 59.16%, and a smoothness index of 13.189. The approach used to address this workload imbalance issue is the Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) method. The analysis results recommend a structural change by consolidating work elements into 3 integrated workstations. This proposed improvement yields a significant increase in line performance, with line efficiency rising to 68.06%, balance delay decreasing to 31.94%, and the smoothness index improving to 7.135. In conclusion, the RPW method has proven effective in balancing the production line and improving production efficiency.

Abstract

UD. Gajah Delta is a manufacturing company whose main products are rantang and bakso steamers. Based on the current situation in the field, UD Gajah Delta has difficulty meeting market demand. Gajah Delta berjuang untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar. This is thought to be due to an imbalance in workload between workstations, as well as suboptimal planning of the number of employees. The aim of this study is to determine the optimal number of employees to meet customer demand. Based on the workload measurement using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method, two workstations were found to be normal: the cutting station (1.24) and the finishing station (1.22). However, the workstations for lid production (2.68) and sieve production (4.25) were categorised as overload. Meanwhile, the handle production station had an FTE value of 5.77 and the pot body production station had an FTE value of 8.98. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the number of employees at the stations for making handles and making the body of the steamer.

Abstract

Bitumen Plant Gresik operated by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga does not yet have a dedicated smoking area at its office, despite the oil and gas environment carries a high fire risk. This study aims to plan the smoking area construction using the Critical Path Method (CPM) supported by Microsoft Project to determine the duration, critical path, and total project cost. The data used cover 20 work activities along with their durations, predecessors, volumes, and unit prices. Results show the project duration is 59 calendar days (1 February to 31 March 2026), with three parallel critical paths covering foundation, column, roster, flooring, anti-heat sticker, decorative elements, and site cleaning. The total project cost reaches IDR 255,850,000 (excluding 11% VAT), with the largest share of 84.53% allocated to structural and architectural work. These findings may serve as a project control baseline in oil and gas industrial settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the productivity level of the production process at UD Kerupuk Mawar and identify the factors causing low productivity. The problems faced by the company include imbalance between input and output, high defect rates, raw material waste, inefficient production time, and machine downtime. The methods used in this study are Objective Matrix (OMAX) to measure productivity based on several criteria and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify the root causes of the problems. The research data were collected from six months of production activities, including raw materials, labor, production time, machine downtime, defective products, and production output. The results showed that production productivity fluctuated and had not reached the optimal target. The main factors affecting productivity decline were high defect rates, machine downtime, and inefficient production time. Improvement proposals include increasing production supervision, regular machine maintenance, and improving work methods.
