Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of outbound training in improving interpersonal conflict resolution skills in adolescents. Subjects were adolescents outbound training participants with age ranges between 16-19 years old on the Team Survival Outbound Prigen Pasuruan. The design of this study was a true experiment, with 10 participants who were registered as outbound training participant was being assigned as experiment group and 10 participants who were not registered as outbound training participant was being assigned to control group Sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling by selecting participants with low conflict resolution score. Data collecting method used was interpersonal conflict resolution questionnaire which resulting in an ordinal scale and was analysed using parametric statistic with t-test paired sample and independent t-test. Obtained score was t = 9.635 and p=0.000 (p<0.025), which means that the research hypothesis was accepted. In other words, there were a significant difference between adolescence interpersonal conflict resolution score prior- and post-intervention (outbound training) in α = 0.05%. Obtained score was t = 5.069 and p=0.000 (p<0.025), which means that the research hypothesis was accepted. It can be concluded, that there were a significant difference between adolescence interpersonal conflict resolution score prior- and post-intervention (outbound training) in α = 0.05%. Based on those results, it can be concluded that an effective implementation of outbound training can increase interpersonal conflict resolution skill in adolescence.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan outbound training dalam meningkatkan kemampuan resolusi konflik interpersonal pada remaja. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta remaja outbound training dengan rentang usia 16-19 tahun The Survival Outbound Team Prigen Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan true experiment yaitu kelompok eksperimen adalah 10 remaja yang terdaftar sebagai peserta outbound training dan kelompok kontrol adalah 10 remaja yang tidak terdaftar sebagai peserta outbound training. Pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yakni mereka yang memiliki skor resolusi konflik interpersonal rendah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket resolusi konflik interpersonal yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk ordinal dan menggunakan statistik  parametrik dengan paired sampel t test dan independent t test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai t sebesar 9,635 dan p=0,000 (p<0,025) sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap skor resolusi konflik interpersonal remaja antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan outbound training pada taraf α = 0,05%. Diperoleh nilai t sebesar 5,069 dan p=0,000 (p<0,025) sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Artinya, ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap skor resolusi konflik interpersonal antara remaja yang mendapat outbound training dan remaja yang tidak mendapat outbound training pada taraf α = 0,05%. Dari data analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan outbound training efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan resolusi konflik interpersonal remaja.

Abstract

Previous research has shown that character strength significantly impacts students' future success. This study examines the functioning of family and school culture as antecedents of character strength through spirituality as mediators. The research sample was 1871 junior high school students in Surabaya City consisting of 1010 female students and 861 male students selected by proportional cluster random sampling from five areas of Surabaya City. The research instruments used were the character strength scale of human dimension of Values in Action Inventory for adolescents (VIA-Youth), spirituality scale of Aspects of Spirituality Questionnaire (ASP) Version 2.1., family functioning scale of Family Assessment Device (FAD), and school culture scale of School   Climate and School Identification Measure—Student (SCASIM-St). The study was conducted by testing research instruments using confirmatory factor analysis and model testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that the fit, family functioning had a more significant influence than school culture did in shaping student character strength in the human dimension and spirituality model proved to significantly mediate the functioning of family and school culture and the strength of student character on the human dimension. The implications of the study results are expected to accelerate the improvement of student character strength in the humanitarian dimension and become policy recommendations for human resource development that are ready to face various challenges.

Abstract

The main challenge for educational institutions in the middle of the pandemic is fostering students to maintain character strengths in poor conditions. Various difficulties come quickly, such as changes in the online learning system, strict health protocols that apply to the threat of viruses that are scary all the time. Character strengths have a broad impact on life satisfaction, subjective well-being, friendly relationships, and academic success. This study aims to determine the condition of initial student character strengths, especially those who have just entered college, as positive traits used in dealing with changes during the COVID-19 pandemic and contribute to the development of character strengths theory. Peterson-Seligman. The research subjects were 145 students who filled out the 72-item VIA-IS scale online and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that most early students had high character strengths (68.3%) and responded to change by highlighting their signature strengths of kindness, humor, love, honesty, and gratitude. This research is expected to describe the strength of character as an effort to adapt to change in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract Fomo is a person's feeling of worry when they are afraid of missing out on the latest information. This can occur due to excessive use of social media which is usually experienced by young adults, including students. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-control and fomo experienced by students who use the social media Instagram. This type of research is quantitative correlational which uses a self-control scale and a fomo scale. Participants in this research are 195 students at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya who use media. social Instagram more than 5 hours a day. Sampling in this research used purposive sampling. This research uses Google Form to obtain data. The technique used in the research is Pearson Corralation Product Moment. The research results showed a negative correlation between self-control and fomo. This means that the higher the self-control, the lower the fomo in students and vice versa, if the higher the self-control, the lower the fomo in students who use Instagram social media. Abstrak Fomo merupakan perasaan khawatir seseorang ketika takut tertinggal informasi terkini hal ini dapat diakibatkan karena penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan yang biasanya dialami oleh usia dewasa awal termasuk mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan fomo yang dialami oleh mahasiswa pengguna media sosial Instagram Jenis Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional yang menggunakan skala kontrol diri dan skala fomo Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 195 mahasiswa Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya pengguna media sosial instagram lebih dari 5 jam sehari. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan Google Form guna mendapatkan data. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Pearson Corralation Product Moment . Pada hasil penelitian diperoleh korelasi negarif antara kontrol diri dengan fomo. Hal tersebut memiliki makna bahwasannya semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah fomo pada mahasiswa begitu juga dengan sebaliknya jika semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka akan semakin rendah fomo pada mahasiswa pengguna media sosial instagram.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi pada masa dewasa awal adalah eksplorasi identitas dalam konteks karier. Namun, di sisi lain, freshgraduate juga mengalami dampak negatif dari peningkatan tingkat pengangguran dan persaingan di dunia kerja. Hal ini menyebabkan kesulitan dalam menetapkan identitas pribadi yang kokoh, dan seringkali mereka enggan membahas tantangan perkembangan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Pada beberapa studi, kekhawatiran telah menunjukkan adanya indikasi terhadap rendahnya kesejahteraan psikologis pada individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sejauh mana keterkaitan antara kematangan karir dengan kesejahteraan psikologis pada freshgraduate Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan sebanyak 275 partisipan. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan Skala Kesejahteraan Psikologis Ryff dan aspek-aspek Kematangan Karir berdasarkan aspek Kematangan Karir (CMI) dengan menerapkan teknik analisis uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kedua variabel memiliki hubungan yang positif signifikan antara kematangan karir dengan psychological well-being pada freshgraduate Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, artinya semakin tinggi kematangan karir freshgraduate semakin tinggi psychological well-being-nya.

Abstract

Pada sebuah proses pembelajaran di sebuah institusi pendidikan, kualitas mengajar guru menjadi prediktor penting dalam kesuksesan seorang murid. Dibutuhkan kesamaan pemahaman dan komitmen bersama baik komitmen pemerintah maupun komitmen dari guru untuk dapat menerapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai bagi anak-anak usia dini. Pelatihan metode pembelajaran ramah anak yang diadakan bagi kepala sekolah di Taman Kanak-kanak diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan guru agar dapat mempraktikkan pemebalajaran ramah anak. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 83 kepala sekolah Taman Kanak-kanak di Surabaya. Teknik analisis uji beda dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan ini berdasarkan evaluasi pengetahuan yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil analisis data menyebutkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan dari sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan ini, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelatihan ini efektif memberikan perubahan pada pengetahuan peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the correlation between mindful parenting patterns and the level of stress felt by mothers when caring for children with middle childhood age at the great children's institution (AHE) Morosunggingan Jombang. This research is classified as correlational research. The sample in the study was 50 mothers. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data were taken by applying the mindful parenting assessment scale and the level of stress in parenting. The use of data to conduct Spearman Rho correlation analysis with the help of SPSS 22. There is a strong and opposite correlation between mindful parenting and maternal parenting stress. High levels of mindful parenting are associated with low levels of parenting stress in mothers. Conversely, if the level of mindful parenting is low, then the level of parenting stress in mothers tends to be high. Therefore, the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami korelasi antara pola pengasuhan yang penuh kesadaran dengan tingkat stres yang dirasakan oleh ibu ketika merawat anak dengan usia middle childhood di lembaga anak hebat (AHE) Morosunggingan Jombang. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 50 orang ibu. Pemilihan metode sampling yang dipakai yaitu purposive sampling. Data diambil dengan mengaplikasikan skala penilaian mindful parenting dan tingkat stres dalam pengasuhan. Penggunaan data untuk melakukan analisis kolerasi Spearman Rho dengan bantuan SPSS 22. Terdapat korelasi yang kuat dan berlawanan antara mindful parenting dan stres pengasuhan ibu. Tingkat mindful parenting tinggi berhubungan dengan tingkat stres pengasuhan yang rendah pada ibu. Sebaliknya, jika tingkat mindful parenting rendah, maka tingkat stres pengasuhan pada ibu cenderung tinggi. Dengan itu hipotesis dalam penelitian ini, diterima.

Abstract

Psychological well-beingis self-assessment or self-evaluation resulting from the experiences and ambitions of an individual's life. Individuals have a positive attitude towards themselves and others, make their own decisions, regulate their behavior, have meaningful life goals and are able to fulfill their potential and are able to manage their environment according to their needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between forgiveness and psychological well-being in victims of dating violence. The research design uses quantitative methods to achieve research objectives. The subjects of this study were victims of dating violence in Surabaya, totaling 95 women. The measuring instrument uses forgiveness and psychological well-being scales, dating violence to find subject criteria. The data analysis technique uses the Spearman Brown correlation test. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between forgiveness and psychological well-being in victims of dating violence. The hypothesis that says there is a relationship between forgiveness and psychological well-being in victims of dating violence is accepted. Psychological well-being adalah penilaian atau evaluasi diri yang dihasilkan dari pengalaman dan ambisi hidup individu. Individu memiliki sikap positif terhadap dirinya sendiri dan orang lain, membuat keputusan sendiri, mengatur perilakunya, memiliki tujuan hidup yang bermakna dan mampu memenuhi potensi dirinya serta mampu mengelola lingkungannya sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara forgiveness dengan psychological well-being pada korban kekerasan dalam pacaran. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah korban kekerasan dalam pacaran di Surabaya yang berjumlah 95 perempuan. Instrumen alat ukur menggunakan skala forgiveness dan psychological well-being, kekerasan dalam pacaran untuk mencari kriteria subjek. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Brown. Hasil terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara forgiveness dengan psychological well-being pada korban kekerasan dalam pacaran. Hipotesis yang berbunyi ada hubungan antara forgiveness dengan psychological well-being pada korban kekerasan dalam pacaran diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Parenting Self Efficacy. Emotional intelligence is the ability of individuals to recognize their own feelings, recognize the feelings of others, have the ability to manage emotions well towards themselves and others, have the ability to motivate themselves, and be able to build relationships with others. Parenting self efficacy is the parents' self-confidence or ability towards their ability to care for children so that they direct them to parenting patterns that are in accordance with the characteristics of the child. This research was conducted using quantitative methods to 110 research subjects with the criteria of parents who have children with any special needs. The data collection method for Emotional Intelligence and Parenting self-efficacy scales uses a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique. The results of the hypothesis testing used were the Pearson Spearman rhoCorrelation assisted by the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program version 25.0 for windows with the analysis results which means that there is a very significant and positive relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Parenting self-efficacy. So it can be concluded that Emotional Intelligence associated with Parenting self-efficacy parents who have children with special needs in Nganjuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Parenting Self Efficacy. Kecerdasan emosional mengacu pada kemampuan individu untuk mengenali emosi diri sendiri, mengenali emosi orang lain, kemampuan mengelola emosi dengan baik untuk diri sendiri dan orang lain, kemampuan memotivasi diri sendiri dan kemampuan menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain. Parenting self efficacy adalah keyakinan atau kemampuan orang tua untuk mengasuh anaknya dengan cara bagaimana membimbing mereka dalam mengasuh anak agar sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. keyakinan atau kemampuan diri orangtua terhadap kemampuan mereka dalam mengasuh anak sehingga mengarahkan mereka kepada pola asuh yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif kepada 110 subjek penelitian dengan kriteria orangtua yang mempunyai anak berkebutuhan khusus apapun. Metode pengambilan data skala Kecerdasan Emosional dan Parenting self efficacy dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Hasil uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu Spearman rho yang dibantu oleh program Statictic Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 25.0 for windows dengan hasil analisis yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Parenting self efficacy pada orangtua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kabupaten Nganjuk. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional berhubungan dengan Parenting self efficacy.
