This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The theory used is governance, collaborative governance, sustainable development and Healthy City. Data analysis techniques using the Spradley model which includes domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componventional analysis, and cultural theme analysis. The results showed that the Healthy Cities Program implemented by the Batu City Government had been running well, seen from the collaborative governance model indicators put forward by Ansell and Gash covering the collaborative process consisting of meeting face to face, building trust, the process of achieving commitment, understanding for joint decisions and interim results. Furthermore, the initial conditions consist of resource imbalances, incentives to participate, and background history. Next the institutional design consists of stakeholders involved, ground rules, and transparency. Then facilitative leadership includes broad influence and control, facilitation of productive groups, and expanding relationships or networks. Collaboration between stakeholders during the implementation of the Healthy Cities Program starts from the planning stage, the implementation of activities to the evaluation of the program. Stakeholders involved in the Healthy Cities Program from the government include the Health Service, the Environmental Service, the Tourism Service, the Food Security Service, and the Bappelitbangda. Next stakeholders include the community (FKBS, forkom, and working group) while the private sector is represented by the manager of the Selecta tourism object and the Batu Flower Garden (BFG). The Healthy Cities Program implemented by the Batu City Government consists of four arrangements, namely, an independent healthy community order, a healthy tourism order, a food and nutrition security order, and a healthy infrastructure and infrastructure settlement arrangement. Abstract

A research about ‘good governance’ implementation of Indonesian Women Worker- housemaid ( in Indonesia TKI-PRT) placement process, focused on the transparency application issue to develop the governance of online information management system of TKI-PRT placement process. The main issues being examined were such as whether the substance of laws and regulations and practices applied in the migrant workers placement process is relevant so far to the need for developing online information management system to become more transparent and may strengthen protective support to TKI-PRT. The research was in the form of case study and analyzed by using content analysis technique.Protection to TKI-PRT, as it is defined in the Law No. 39/2004 that “the first and best opportunity of protection should arise from the workers themselves”. The implication, strengthening transparency and protection of TKI are by nature urgent and require the development of information management system governance of TKI placement based on self-governance model. One governance model with citizen centricity character grows through the mechanism of governance from the ground-up, closely focused and centralized based on the continuous strengthening of the TKI-PRT autonomous capacity to be more proactive to become active agent of change, especially as an active evaluator and creator of information in the whole implementation process of migrant worker placement abroad. The autonomous capacity of these TKI is likely collective created, meaning the success depends on the commitment of all stakeholders who are synergic proliferating and strengthening the autonomy and integrity of all actor practices. In particular, they should conduct ‘tri-automization’ of TKI independence and self-reliance in terms of cultural, economic and political aspects. Based on the result of the research, it can be summarized that the substance of the management and implementation of TKI placement process in Malaysia so far is likely bureaucrtaic centricity rather than citizen centricity. It was indicated by seven dominant tendencies which made transparency and protection functions not effective and even may cause TKI-PRT vulnerability potential in all stages of the placement implementation processes abroad. Therefore, renewal of the regulations substance about TKI-PRT placement process, including the information management system, is really urgent. The regulations and impelementation substance should be consistent and rely on the need of the emancipatory information management system development, in the form of self-governance model which is to urge the government as enabler to the strengthening and institutionalizing the autonomy and integrity of all actor practices.

Community-based waste management is expected to have an environmental impact, thereby creating a sustainable environment. This research aims to describe and analyze the environmental impact of community-based waste management through community empowerment in Plosojenar Village, Ponorogo Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Triangulation of sources and methods was used to test the validity of the data. Data analysis uses Creswell's qualitative analysis model. The research results show that community-based waste management has the opportunity to encourage environmental impact, by empowering the community through the Maesojenar Compost House. Various programs have been designed, such as: Coconut Fiber Waste Processing Program, Compost Fertilizer Processing Program, and Waste Savings Program. In the future, the sustainability of this program needs to be considered. Apart from that, the use of social media needs to be strengthened to voice issues surrounding waste management, so that it can encourage the creation of good environmental impacts.

Abstract

Public Information Transparency (KIP) is crucial in achieving Good Governance. This study focuses on implementing KIP through electronic government in Kraton Village, Yosowilangun District, Lumajang Regency, where most residents are employed in agriculture and trade, posing challenges to the implementation of electronic KIP. Employing qualitative descriptive research, this study analyzes data using the interactive data analysis model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal a beacon of success in Kraton Village, where KIP has been effectively implemented through electronic government. Mandatory information is disseminated seamlessly through websites, social media, and WhatsApp groups. The bureaucratic structure of the Public Information and Documentation Officer (PPID) in Kraton Village is well-defined, although there is a significant dependence on a few individuals. There is a need for clearer and more systematic Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in managing information. From the perspective of Collaborative Governance in KIP, Kraton Village showcases remarkable advancements in transitioning to electronic governance despite limited resources. The design of institutions and the collaborative processes between the village government and the community are focal points. Facilitative leadership from the village government is essential in fostering an environment that supports information transparency. This research underscores the paramount importance of collaborative governance in the implementation of public information transparency through electronic government. It highlights the pressing necessity for clear SOPs and systematic information management to significantly enhance governance quality and community engagement in Kraton Village. The study offers a new perspective on implementing e-government and KIP in rural settings, illustrating how technological adaptation and collaboration can effectively address geographical and resource limitations. These findings are not just relevant, but crucial for other village governments encountering similar circumstances, providing invaluable insights for the design and execution of effective e-Government strategies.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of service quality and price perception on customer satisfaction at the Universitas Brawijaya Canteen, Indonesia, by analyzing the effects of tangibles, reliability, and empathy as SERVQUAL dimensions, as well as price suitability in terms of quality, perceived benefits, and affordability. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 133 respondents across two UB canteen locations through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that empathy, price-to-benefit, and price-to-affordability had significant positive effects on customer satisfaction, while tangibles, reliability, and price-to-quality did not have significant partial effects; however, all variables simultaneously influenced satisfaction, with an Adjusted R² of 0.486. These findings indicate that emotional interaction and value-based price perceptions are more critical determinants of satisfaction in campus foodservice settings than physical facilities or technical service consistency. This study highlighted the limited empirical research on campus foodservice satisfaction in Indonesian universities using a focused SERVQUAL and price perception framework. The study contributes theoretically by refining SERVQUAL application in higher education foodservice and practically by providing evidence-based insights to support service improvement and pricing strategies for sustainable campus canteen management.
