Abstract

This study employed classroom action research with the aim of enhancing students' physics problem-solving skills using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) supported by student worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik/LKPD). The research targeted 10th-grade high school students focusing on the topic of Measurement. The methodology followed a cycle comprising four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. At the end of each cycle, evaluations were conducted using a validated test instrument consisting of four essay questions. The success criterion was set at a minimum of 70% of students achieving a mastery level, defined by a score of at least 65. During the pre-cycle phase, before applying PBL, the initial test results revealed no students achieved mastery, with an average problem-solving score of 54.67. Subsequently, two cycles of PBL implementation were carried out. In the first cycle, 15 students reached the mastery criterion, representing 41.17% improvement in problem-solving skills, with an average score of 63.75. Building on this progress, the second cycle was implemented, resulting in 29 students achieving mastery. This represented 80.05% of the class, categorized as a moderate improvement, with an average problem-solving score of 70.05. These findings indicate a significant enhancement in students' physics problem-solving abilities through the integration of PBL and LKPD. This approach effectively facilitated active student engagement and critical thinking, demonstrating its potential as an impactful instructional strategy in high school physics education.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence of high school teachers in Mountainous Papua through training on the use of the Merdeka Teaching platform. This activity is designed as an effort to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum which requires teachers' skills in utilizing technology and innovative learning methods. This training is designed comprehensively including initial needs analysis, delivery of material about platform features, simulation of use in the context of learning, and continuous mentoring. The results of the analysis of responses to PKM activities showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the functions and benefits of the independent teaching platform. In addition, teachers can apply training materials into the learning process such as integrating digital technology in the project-based learning process, carrying out authentic assessments and developing innovative teaching tools. Based on the results of the analysis, it is indicated that practice-based, simulations and continuous training can be an effective strategy in improving teachers' professional competence, especially in areas that face limited access to technology and educational resources.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika adalah pembelajaran yang terdiri dari aspek teoritis dan praktikum serta aspek praktikum. Pelaksanaan praktikum di laboratorium membutuhkan panduan yang membantu mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum. Modul adalah bentuk pedoman atau instruksi praktikum yang berbasis teknologi sehingga dapat diakses di mana saja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research & Development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner validator ahli dan kuesioner kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dan diperoleh hasil valisasi modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh kelayakan validasi ahli materi sebesar 89,92 dan validasi ahli media sebesar 86,45. Dari hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

The use of technology for the implementation of learning is increasingly being used. One of them is by making learning videos. Community service activities are carried out through training on the use of microlearning with powtoons in learning. This training activity aims to improve teacher pedagogic competence. The targets in this training activity are Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan Middle School teachers which will be held in September 2022 to October 2022. This training activity is carried out in five stages including surveys and permits; socialization; training; monitoring; and evaluation. The results obtained were in the form of increasing teacher pedagogical competence through training in the use of microlearning with powtoons in learning. The increase in teacher competency can be seen from the average pretest and posttest results where 92% of teachers already know about the use of microlearning in learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi literasi sains berbasis PBL bagi siswa, melalui pendampingan yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Merauke, diikuti 60 orang siswa dan 1 orang guru fisika. Metode yang digunakan pendampingan dalam kelompok, yang terdiri atas 10 kelompok yang terdiri atas 6 orang siswa. Tim pendamping terdiri atas dosen dan mahasiswa pendidikan fisika yang berasal dari Universitas Musamus. Secara garis besar, kegiatan terdiri atas; persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan monev. Persiapan dilaksanakan untuk melengkapi keperluan pelaksanaan, seperti perizinan secara administrasi, dan pembagian tim pendamping. Pelaksanaan, terdiri atas proses pendampingan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan sintaks pada PBL, yaitu: orientasi kepada masalah, mengelompokan siswa, pembimbingan, demonstrasi, dan evaluasi. Topik yang digunakan yaitu alat-alat ukur, melalui penggunaan jangka sorong, mikrometer sekrup, dan neraca. Pada bagian akhir kegiatan dilaksanakan monitoring dan evaluasi. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk melihat respon siswa dan guru terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Dilakukan melalui wawancara, hasilnya mendapatkan respon sangat positif, yang diharapkan nantinya akan ada keberlanjutan kegiatan lagi.

Abstract

Pendidikan mengalami perubahan seiring perkembangan teknologi dan informasi. Perubahan tersebut terjadi dalam pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran. Instagram merupakan salah satu platform media sosial yang paling banyak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dilihat dari banyaknya akun edukasi yang muncul. Fisika merupakan salah satu subjek pembelajaran yang dipelajari di Pendidikan menengah dan Pendidikan tinggi. Penggunaan akun edukasi instagram dalam pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh positif dan membantu pembelajar lebih mudah memahami materi. Meskipun demikian, belum terdapat penelitian yang mengkaji tentang tentang efektivitas akun edukasi fisika yang tersedia. Masing-masing akun belajar fisika di Instagram memiliki bentuk edukasi, visualisasi, gaya Bahasa yang berbeda-beda. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis perbandingan terhadap  akun edukasi fisika di Instagram untuk melihat potensi pemanfaatannya sebagai media pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik dokumentasi metode analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat akun memiliki engagement rate (ER) tertinggi dengan nilai ER 53.2. Temuan ini merekomendasikan akun edukasi fisika tertentu untuk pembelajaran fisika berbasis teori atau aplikasi.

Abstract

Physics learning frequently poses challenges for students due to the abstract nature of its concepts, particularly in topics such as momentum and impulse, which often result in misconceptions and low engagement. In response to this urgency, integrating technology through the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework has been advocated as an effective strategy to improve conceptual understanding and foster self-regulated learning (SRL). This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a TPACK-based physics e-module in simultaneously enhancing students’ conceptual comprehension and SRL. Employing a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design, the research involved 30 students at SMA Negeri 2 Merauke, Indonesia. Instruments included a 20-item multiple-choice test on momentum and impulse concepts and a 20-item SRL questionnaire, both validated using Gregory’s content validity index (CVI > 0.80) and demonstrating strong reliability (Cronbach’s alpha > 0.80). Data analysis comprised descriptive statistics, normality testing, paired-sample t-tests, effect size calculations, and normalized gain (N-Gain) indices. The results indicated significant improvements in both domains: SRL scores increased from a mean of 67.60 to 77.67 (t = 12.45; p < 0.001; d = 1.49; N-Gain = 0.449), while conceptual understanding improved from 60.47 to 74.13 (t = 14.23; p < 0.001; d = 1.62; N-Gain = 0.497). These findings confirm that the e-module effectively addressed both cognitive and metacognitive aspects of learning. The novelty of this study lies in its dual focus on SRL and conceptual mastery within a single intervention, applied in a frontier educational context. The study contributes to physics education by providing empirical evidence of TPACK’s capacity to deliver scalable, context-sensitive innovations that enhance learning outcomes in diverse settings.

Abstract

Aturan terbaru mengenai syarat kelulusan dari perguruan tinggi diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 53 Tahun 2023 Tentang Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi. Khusus program sarjana dalam pasal 18 yang pada pokoknya menyatakan bahwa syarat kelulusan pada program sarjana dapat berupa pemberian tugas akhir yang dapat berbentuk skripsi, prototipe, proyek, atau bentuk tugas akhir lainnya yang sejenis baik secara individu maupun berkelompok. Dengan adanya peraturan tersebut maka mahasiswa semester akhir pada program sarjana tidak harus menyusun skripsi sebagai syarat kelulusan sebagaimana umum dipraktekkan perguruan tinggi selama ini. Kebijakan ini menimbulkan pro dan kontra dikalangan mahasiswa sehingga penulis bermaksud untuk meneliti lebih jauh sehingga diketahui bagaimana persepsi umum yang berkembang dikalangan mahasiswa Universitas Musamus terkait kebijakan ini. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survey dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi mahasiswa program sarjana Universitas Musamus terkait kebijakan lulus tanpa wajib skripsi. Responden penelitian berjumlah 50 orang dari berbagai jurusan. Penelitian ini mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa Universitas Musamus netral namun terdapat kecenderungan untuk menerima kebijakan lulus tanpa wajib skripsi pada program sarjana sebagaimana yang diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia Nomor 53 Tahun 2023 Tentang Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi.
