Abstract

Natural Duri Private Primary School (SDS) is a nature-based school. This natural school does not use luxurious buildings but rather wooden stalls, the quality of student education is determined by the quality of the teacher, the method used during the learning process. The teacher's method of applying learning to students with the accelerated learning method, where students learn by involving all the potential that exists in students, then active learning, students are brought to learn in an active and fun way. The concept of the Alam Duri SDS school is based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The education curriculum of SDS Alam Duri which is the basis is that, prioritizing the 4 main points in the basic concepts of education, namely akhlakul karimah, scientific logic, leadership, and entrepreneurship.The purpose of this study was to find out instructional communication methods, media and obstacles during the learning process that the teacher used when teaching.This study used qualitative research methods. Informants from this study were principals, teachers, and students of Alam Duri Elementary School, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. While the object of this research is teacher instructional communication in the learning process of students in SDS Alam Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques are using interactive model data analysis. In achieving the validity of the data in this study, the authors used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results of the study indicate that instructional communication by the teacher uses problem solving, discussion, practice, and assignment methods. To support instructional communication to run smoothly, learning media is needed. The media used by teachers are visual media such as books, pictures, modules, worksheets, and media that are in nature, laptops, projectors, road boards, and blackboards. Audio visual media, namely using video or film screenings. Meanwhile, instructional communication barriers that occur in the form of psychological obstacles and technical obstacles.Keyword : Instructional Communication, Learning, Learning Process

Abstract

Leader is a critical success factor for it’s regency or company. The success of leadership in a regency or company is depend on the leader quality. A leader must have great proficiency to implement leadership. So that the agency or company can move towards the goals the to be achieved. Operational Technical of Clean Water Management (UPT BPAB) of Ministry Public Works at Pelalawan Regency is an agency that in charge of distributing clean water for Pelalawan Community. In practice, UPT BPAB of Pelalawan Regency confronted with some problems regarding the level of customer satisfaction on the employe performance of UPT BPAB . Therefore, UPT BPAB must improve leadership communication to increase employe performance. The goal of this research is to determine the function of leadership communication and the interaction from to increase employee performance of UPT BPAB of Ministry Public Works of Pelalawan Regency. The research method using in this research is quallitative descriptive sampling technique. The informants in this research are 5 people that selected based on the official department, which is the head of UPT BPAB of Ministry of Public Works of Pelalawan Regency, 2 employee from administration department, 2 employee from production department. The techniques of data collection in this research are using interview, documentation, and observation. The techniques of data analysis are based on Huberman and Miles interactive model. Data validity checking are using the exstension of participation and triangulation. This research shows that the function of leader communication in order to increase employee performance at UPT BPAB of Ministry Public Works of Pelalawan Regency is Fairly good. With vertical and horizontal communication, the leader can deliver clear instruction and the employee can responsible in their duties. The interaction forms in order to increase employee performance are using discussion, memo, and direct communication.Keywords : Leader Communication, Performance, Employee.

Abstract

Jamaah tabligh is an Islamic groups which focuses on improving the quality of faith and pious charity by moving and conveying the massage of the importance of faith and pious charity to all Muslims wherever they are. Jamaah tabligh is basically a designatios of people for those who are engaged in Da’wah activity in this group. However, the name of tabligh not the name that is inaugurated but only the familiar appellation so that the people knows it as jamaah tabligh. Tasykil group is a small group of jamaah tabligh which are selected based on discussion with the considerations of mastering a lot of Da’wah material and having done khuruj frequently or out to do house to provide information about Da’wah activity they do.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected trough interviews, partisipant observation, and documentation. The location of this research in Tuah Karya Village, District of Tampan, Pekanbaru. The number of informants for this study is 12 respondents. Sampling is done by using porposive sampling technique. The author conducts are data analysis by using Huberman and Miles theory and for checking the data validity, the author uses data triangulation and technique.The results of how persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups are applied to the muslim’s residents are divided to: The elements of persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups and The techniques of persuasive communication of tasykil jamaah tabligh groups. And The Factors which are motivation and environment. Abstract

This research is motivated by communication style Head of Department, acting and acting Head of Department of Fishery and marine Riau Province not yet reflect attitude of a leader, The formulation of problem from this research is how far influence of communication style Head of Department of Fishery and Marine Riau Province to Performance Employee .The methods used in this study i.e., quantitative methods. Data collection techniques in the study using a detailed questionaire. sample Determined by researchers as many as 95 people servant, the reason the author choose the Department of Fisheries and Marine Riau Province, because researchers want to see the communication style Head of Service to employees. In processing the data the author uses SPSS 17.0 program by using simple linear regression formula with the formula Ý = a + bX. Based on the research results found that Communication Style Head of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs of Riau Province influence on Employee Performance with a correlation value of 0.916. The value of 0.916 shows the correlation between independent variables (Head Office Communication Style) and dependent variable (Employee Performance) is in very strong correlation category (0,800 - 1,000). This is reinforced by the result of hypothesis test with F count> F table (676.503> 1.915).While the significance test obtained value 31.884> 0.202, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Communication Style Head of Department has a significant influence on Employee Performance. This is indicated by different results with the respondent's answer on each question item. From 44 item of question known that on communication style of Head of Department to performance of employee of each item of question answered with majority agree and strongly agree. From the determination coefficient test or R Square of 0.916 or 91.6%. This shows that the variables studied (communication style Head of Service) give effect to employee performance equal to 91,6%. Based on hypothesis testing that has been done known communication style Head of Department of Fisheries and Marine Riau Province influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The School Improvement program is a Corporate Social Responsibility program run by PT. RAPP through Community Development. School Improvement program has 3 objectives namely, improving the quality learning system, helping to improve School Accreditation and realization of Adiwiyata schools in the partner school. School Improvement carried out by the Community Development PT. RAPP as well as seeing the impact of the School Improvement program on School and seeing developments is that occured before and after implementation.This study uses qualitative research methods. In determining informants, this study uses purposive methods. Data collection techniques in this studies consist of interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, for data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis according to Huberman and Miles. To check the validity of the data, researchers used participation extension and triangulation.The results of this study indicate that Community Development PT. RAPP carried out four stage of implementation in implementing the School Improvement program. The first stage is to select a location, The second stage is socialization, where at this stage Community Development explains in more detail about the School Improvement program for the parties involved in launching the school improvement program and also uses online media. The third stage is Community based development where at this stage the implementation of the school improvement program has been running in partner schools,And the last stage namely Community independence where at this stage the Community Development provides assistance to partner schools. As for the impact of the school improvement program in schools when helping teachers in effective learning and being able to use media leaarning. Besides that, for the principal, being able to find out how to improve school acreditation through the training that was carried out. And preserving the partner school environment with the implementation of adiwiyata. Meanwhile, the company itself get a positive image in the eyes of the community because it always pays attention to the life of the community around the company’s operational area, especially in education.                                                                  Keyword : Program Implementation, School Improvement, CD PT.RAPP

Abstract

Extension activities in agriculture development act as a bridge that connects the practice run by peasant farmers with the knowledge and technology that is always evolving into the needs of farmers in Sentajo Kingdom . So that farmers can carry out practices that support farming , the farmers need information on innovation in agriculture . Such information can be obtained by farmers from PPL ( Agricultural Extension Field ) through the implementation of agricultural extension activities , the perpetrators of counseling required to work hard and sensitive to the community . This study aims to determine strategies that do extension in improving agricultural production in district Sentajo Raya .The method used in this study is a qualitative method that attempts to explain the phenomenon that occurs in accordance with the results obtained by setting 15 (fiveteen) of the study subjects as informants through purposive technique . The object of this study is the extension of communication coordination agency extension of Riau province in an effort to increase agricultural production in the district highway Sentajo Raya Kuantan Singingi of data based on information obtained through observation , interviews , and documentation . Technical analysis of the data in this study using interactive data model with data validity checking is done using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques.The results showed that the dimensions of the communicator with the limited number of extension workers are still not optimal in the provision of agricultural extension , and media dimensions are available but underused . While the dimensions of the message , the communicant and the effects already performing as it should . For the dimensions of empowerment : the ability and skills have been applied and be realized by extension agents and farmers. However, for the dimensions of knowledge , there is the educational level of farmers are still low .Key words: comunications, counseling, instructor agriculture

Abstract

The background of this research with the problems faced by farmers in increasing rice yields which farmers are farmers from the local area who have an average level of know ledge that is low. The problem faced by farmers as a way of processing the soil is good ang right as well the use of drugs for the plant, the government helps farmers problems with the procurement of agricultural extension workers in the region who are in the department of technical implementation unit (UPTD) agriculture. This study uses a qualitative method of data collection techniques participant observation, interviews, an documentation. Subjects in this study were agricultural extension and rice farmers in the village Bungaraya. Whereas the object of research is the communication function extension unit technical implementing agency (UPTD) Bungaraya agricultural districs. To analyze the collected data the authors used an interactive model analysis. The final stage of this analysis is examining the validity of the data. The results of research, extension communication function in society is indispensable in helping to increase knowledge of farmers in improving their rice yields. With the presence of extension can bring considerable impact, which before the role of extension workers how much land management that is incompatible with science is taught by the extension through agricultural extension methods. In practice in the village Bungaraya its extension accomplished by using the system of training and visits (CONDUCT), demonstration plots (Pilot), and a field school. The method can produce a feed-back and the rate of adaption of counseling objectives can be achieved despite the persistence of the constraints and obstacles in extension activities. While in the manufacturing extension program, extension assisted by the chairman of farmer groups and programs will be made has previously been adapted to the circumstances in the field of information obtained by farmers and farmer groups. As for the factors that become obstacles in extension activities such as internal and external factors for the extension, the language factor, time, education of farmers, farmers awareness in extension activities and still lack of motivation of farmers in extension. Abstract

Larasita is a People Service for Land Certification. This service has a strategy to pick up the ball that provides convenience to the community who do data collection and land measurement to be certified. So, people do not need to bother to register at the Badan Pertanahan Nasional office a long distance. With this Larasita Program, Sijunjung district with geographical location far and difficult to reach in the management of land becomes easier. The problem raised in this research is how communication strategy of Larasita Program in giving public service to society of Sijunjung Regency.This research used descriptive qualitative method, while the object of the research is Larasita Program at the Badan Pertanahan Nasional of Sijunjung Regency and research subjects including employees who are members of the Larasita team and also the community. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation.The results found First, the public audiences of public Larasita programs are far and unreached. Second, the message given in the form of informative messages and persuasion that invites the people to do data collection and making land certificates. Third, brochures, banners and radio are the media used by the Badan Pertanahan Nasional of Sijunjung Regency. Fourth, communicators come from Larasita team appointed by Decision, supported by Walinagari and local custom leaders who are more aware of the community criteria where the Larasita Program is held.Keyword : Larasita Program, Sijunjung, Land Certification

Abstract

Effective communication is delivering idea, message, and feeling in a best way and reaching its purpose. Plasa Telkom is a place established by PT TELKOM as a media to serve customer’s needs or soon to be customer’s personally and face to face. The purpose of this research is to know how the communication of Customer Service Representative in appreciating their customers in plasa Telkom sudirman pekanbaru and also to know the obstacles and supportive factors of Customer Service Representative in delivering information in plasa Telkom sudirmana pekanbaru.This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data gathering technique used was in accordance to the fact shown in field by observing, interviewing, and documenting. It used 6 informants based on the purposive sampling and accidental sampling methods. Data analysis technique used was organizational information theory and analysis data interactive model. While for the data validity, researcher used long term participation technique and triangulation.The results shown, there are four main points that needed to be looked at in delivering information, which are language, media, communication duration, and communication method. Those points are really important in the communication of Customer Service Representation (CSR) in delivering information to customers in plasa Telkom sudirman pekanbaru. The obstacle factors are lack of coordination between CSR and field staffs, customer education background, and customer emotion. While thesupportive factor are support facilities, backroom’s support, and understandable CSR supportive application.Keyword: Communication, Customer Service Representative, Information

Abstract

Leadership has a great influence on all the company's employees, leadership is an attempt to influence others to achieve goals. How to influence people with the instructions or commands, actions that cause others to act or respond and lead to positive changes, an important dynamic force that motivates and coordinates the organization in order to achieve the goal, the ability to create confidence and support among subordinates so that the organization can be achieved. In accordance with the stimulus response theory assumes leadership can be regarded as a way of leadership in directing, encouraging and manage all the elements in the group or organization to achieve an organization's desired goal to produce maximum employee.The method used in this research is quantitative method, and researchers collected data using a questionnaire. The location is on the street of Jend. A Thalib Pematangsulur Telanaipura Jambi. The number of samples is 85 respondents obtained from census formula. To determine the influence of these variables, researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. As for the processing of the questionnaire test, performed using the statistical program product and service solution (SPSS) Windows version 16.From Communication variables influence of strong leadership is the delivery of orders and instructions through oral or written work effectively (92.9%), while the effectiveness of a strong employee absenteeism presence is very important in establishing the discipline of work (91.8%). These results indicate that the influence of leadership communication on the effectiveness of employees working in the tax office pratama jambi, that the value of R = 0.742 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is approximately 0.694 outcome of squared correlation coefficient of 0.343 x 0.343 with a significant level of 0.002 is smaller than a = 0.05. The figure shows the understanding that the contribution of leadership communication influence on the effectiveness of employee obtained amounted to 69.4% with strong influence category.Keyword: Leader communication, effectivity and employees concept
