Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan upaya untuk mengolah ikan bandeng sebagai produk unggulan dengan nilai tambah yang tinggi. Ikan bandeng memiliki potensi besar sebagai produk olahan dikarenakan kandungan gizinya yang tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan pemanfaatan ikan bandeng menjadi produk abon. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium KWU Polije Kampus 4 PSDKU Sidoarjo. Peserta dari kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi civitas akademika dari Program Studi Manajemen Agroindustri Polije Kampus 4 PSDKU Sidoarjo. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk unggulan berbahan baku ikan bandeng sebagai upaya penunjang rintisan Teaching Factory (TEFA) Agribisnis. Tahapan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan monitoring. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini diawali dengan metode ceramah terkait materi pengolahan ikan bandeng menjadi abon, kemidan dilanjutkan dengan praktik yang dilakukan oleh peserta dengan pendampingan dari tim pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peserta telah memahami dan mampu melakukan pengolahan ikan bandeng menjadi abon serta rencana pemasarannya. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan akan tercipta produk unggulan yang tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi sivitas akademika, tetapi juga bagi masyarakat sekitar, sehingga mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal di Kabupaten Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Household waste has become a crucial issue that demands serious attention to preserve environmental sustainability. Every year, waste management programs are implemented to create a clean and healthy environment. One of the regions that has intensified its efforts in addressing this issue is Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Among the areas facing challenges in waste management is Sepande Village, particularly RW 05 in Candi District. The primary issue in this village is the poor handling of waste from small-scale industries, such as tempe production, which often ends up on the streets, polluting the environment. To address this problem, educational efforts involving community participation are essential. These efforts aim to realize a clean and green Sepande Village through several strategic steps. First, household waste revitalization techniques are taught to residents to help them understand proper waste management methods. Second, the introduction of community- based waste banks provides an effective solution. Residents are trained to separate organic and inorganic waste and to record the collected recyclable waste. Through this community-based approach, Sepande Village is expected not only to become cleaner and healthier but also to inspire other villages to manage their waste independently and sustainably. Sampah rumah tangga menjadi isu penting yang memerlukan perhatian serius demi menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Setiap tahun, program pengelolaan sampah terus dilakukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Salah satu daerah yang semakin intens dalam mengatasi persoalan ini adalah Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Di antara wilayah-wilayah yang menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sampah, Desa Sepande, khususnya RW 05 di Kecamatan Candi, menjadi sorotan. Masalah utama di desa ini adalah penanganan limbah industri kecil seperti pengolahan tempe yang belum tertata dengan baik, sehingga limbah sering berakhir di jalanan dan mencemari lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, diperlukan upaya edukasi yang melibatkan partisipasi komunitas setempat. Edukasi ini bertujuan mewujudkan Desa Sepande Asri melalui beberapa langkah strategis. Pertama, teknik revitalisasi sampah rumah tangga diajarkan kepada masyarakat, agar mereka memahami cara mengelola sampah dengan bijak. Kedua, pengelolaan sampah berbasis bank sampah diperkenalkan sebagai solusi yang efektif. Masyarakat diajarkan cara memilah sampah organik dan anorganik, serta mencatat hasil pengumpulan sampah yang dapat didaur ulang. Dengan pendekatan berbasis komunitas ini, diharapkan Desa Sepande tidak hanya menjadi lebih bersih dan sehat, tetapi juga dapat menginspirasi desa-desa lain untuk mengelola sampah secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is one sector that has great potential to improve the economy. To increase the role of the government and the income of fruit and vegetable farmers, the government and farmers need to better manage their business results for marketing or sale. The level of welfare of fruit and vegetable farmers is still low, this is not because the selling price of fruit and vegetables is low, nor is it because of the large number of imported fruit and vegetables, but rather because of the government's lack of attention to the fruit and vegetable sub-sector, especially durian. snakefruit. Oranges, bananas, mangoes and papaya. This research used a descriptive method, which was carried out in Ngawi Regency. The selection of the research area and determination of samples was carried out deliberately. Data collection uses the interview method using questionnaires to obtain primary data and documentation methods to obtain secondary data. The data analysis method uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis using the Location Quotient approach which tests the validity of the data using methods, sources and theories. The results of the research show that the factors that have a real influence on the income of fish farmers in Nagari Andaleh, Luak District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, are the leading commodities for the Fruits and Vegetables sub-sector, namely Salak with an LQ value of 4.19 and Durian with an LQ value of 2.36. Other types of commodities such as Oranges with an LQ value of 0.64 also have the potential to be developed, in contrast to non-seeded commodities, namely Bananas with an LQ value of 0.03, Mangoes with an LQ value of 0.05 and Papaya with an LQ value of 0.06.

Abstract

Pemakaian hand sanitizer di anggap lebih efisien dan mudah karena bisa dibawa kemana saja tanpa membutuhkan air mengalir maupun sabun. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa edukasi dan sosilisasi pencegahan kuman dengan menjaga kebersihan tangan menggunakan hand sanitizer herbal di Karang Taruna Remaja Masjid Baitul Muttaqin Kabupaten Jember. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pencegahan kuman dengan menjaga kebersihan tangan menggunakan hand sanitizer herbal yang terbuat dari pelepah daun pisang serta harganya murah. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 25 peserta dan di laksanakan selama 5 (lima) hari dimulai tanggal 26-31 Januari 2020, bertempat di balai Perumahan Tegal Besar Permai II Lingkungan Karang Anyar Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi, diskusi serta pelatihan/praktek. Hasil dari kegiatan ini di harapkan mampu membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dalam menjaga diri serta lingkungan terhadap penyebaran kuman-kuman dengan cara membuat hand sanitizer herbal secara mandiri yang mudah serta murah.

Abstract

The agricultural sectors that are developed should be sectors that have a major contribution to economic growth in Ngawi Regency. The aim of this research is to analyze which sectors have priority development in Ngawi Regency. This needs to be done so that subsectors that have the potential for the progress of vegetable crops in the region can be optimized. In this way, regions can find out about economic progress as a result of development in the agricultural sector in their region. This research analyzes the contribution of the basic vegetable subsector to the economic growth of the agricultural sector in Ngawi Regency. This analysis can help the government in setting policies regarding the economy and regional development so that it is hoped that community welfare will be created in Ngawi Regency. The research was carried out in August-October 2024, located in 19 sub-districts in Ngawi Regency. The highest LQ value is cayenne pepper which is found in 12 (twelve) sub-districts, namely Sine sub-district LQ value 3.09, Ngrambe sub-district LQ value 3.04, Jogorogo sub-district LQ value 2.94, Geneng sub-district LQ value 3.10, Gerih sub-district LQ value 6.53, Kwadungan sub-district LQ value 2.12, Paron District LQ value 3.69, Kedunggalar District LQ value 13.72, Pitu District LQ value 1.73, Widodaren District LQ value 22.26, Mantingan District LQ value 13.97 and Karanganyar District LQ value 4.49. This illustrates that cayenne pepper is a basic sector where farmers are generally able to make good use of the available land.

Abstract

Sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan yang menjadi penggerak utama dalam bidang agribisnis di Kabupaten Sigi merupakan sektor terpenting yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Kenyataan ini bisa dilihat dari besarnya kontribusi yang diberikan sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan masih sangat dominan terhadap pembentukan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) berdasarkan harga konstan Tahun 2015 di Kabupaten Sigi yaitu sebesar 41,68% pada tahun 2019. Perolehan PDRB tersebut belum diketahui dari komoditas apa dan dari kecamatan mana, oleh karena itu guna meningkatkan PDRB saat ini diperlukan informasi yang lebih rinci, yaitu informasi tentang komoditas pangan yang memiliki potensi daya saing kompetitif dan komparatif serta sektor basis dalam pengembangan produksi tanaman pangan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis macam-macam komoditas tanaman pangan unggulan dan mengkaji struktur pertumbuhan komoditas tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Sigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Location Quotient (LQ) dengan pengambilan data produksi komoditas tanaman pangan selama 2015 s/d 2019. Metode LQ menghasilkan komoditas yang tergolong unggulan secara keseluruhan yaitu komoditas Ubi Jalar (13,55), Kacang Kedelai (13,05), Kacang Hijau (12,59) dan Ubi Kayu (11,69).

Abstract

Lamongan Regency is known as one of the largest rice producers in East Java with a contribution of 8.76 percent to total rice production in East Java. The use of computer-based technology really supports planning, one of which is mapping. The aim of this research is to map rice production in Lamongan Regency using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This research uses spatial data in the form of administrative maps of Lamongan Regency in 2017, sea depth maps in 2018 and rice production data in Lamongan Regency in 2017 and 2019. The results of the research show that rice production in Lamongan Regency is not much different in 2017 and 2019. There are fluctuations in rice production in each sub-district. The largest rice production is in Sugio District while the smallest production is in Paciran District. Factors that influence rice production include the area of ​​rice fields, land characteristics, and Lamongan Regency Government policies. Based on spatial analysis with maps, the largest rice production is in Sugio District because it is lowland with a high level of fertility and has the largest area of ​​rice fields. Meanwhile, the lowest rice production is in the Brondong, Paciran, Solokuro, Kalitengah and Deket sub-districts because the limestone mountains are rocky and areas prone to flooding and have limited rice fields. Apart from that, Paciran, Solokuro and Brondong sub-districts are more prioritized in developing the industrial, tourism and trade sectors

Abstract

Agromart is an effort to utilize local potential in Sidoarjo Regency as a form of Teaching Factory (TEFA) at the Jember State Polytechnic PSDKU Sidoarjo. Agromart is also a means of learning for students through activities in business processes, ranging from product planning, operational management, and marketing to financial management. This research aims to plan the development of the Agromart business at the Jember State Polytechnic PSDKU Sidoarjo. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing primary and secondary data sources. The analysis methods used in this study include the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analyses. The study results show that Agromart business has product type and quality advantages. The products offered are quality items that emphasize the local wisdom of Sidoarjo Regency. The SWOT analysis results show that Agromart business is in quadrant one. This quadrant indicates that the business is in a position of strong internal strength and has excellent external opportunities. So, a suitable strategy is to use strength to take advantage of opportunities.
