Abstract

The importance of learning media in increasing children's enthusiasm for learning or using learning media will make it easier for an educator to provide learning to young children. Using learning media will not only stimulate cognitive development in children, but will stimulate all aspects of development in early childhood. Researchers carried out research at RA As-Syarif Sibanggor Jae. This research aims to see how early childhood cognitive development develops through games using letter cards as media. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research results include qualitative data which suggests that 1) It is very important to align cognitive development with the golden age because the golden age occurs in the first five years of a child's life. Therefore, the cognitive learning process is very important and effective if carried out through games; 2) Early childhood cognitive development is still in the pre-functional stage, so they are not yet able to think abstractly in learning that requires media; 3) Playing with letters, looking for letters using cards, and asking children questions during the activity. With this method, children learn to recognize and understand letters.

Abstract

MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram as one of the long-established Islamic educational institutions in Batu Bara Regency faces serious challenges related to the effectiveness and quality of leadership in the school. The leadership crisis at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram is the result of a complex interaction between internal and external factors. To overcome this crisis, strategic steps are needed that involve improving leadership competencies, strengthening communication, and adapting to external changes. The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze the internal and external factors that caused the leadership crisis at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara Regency. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participative observation, and document analysis. The results showed that the internal factors that caused the leadership crisis at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Batu Bara Regency included ineffective communication, lack of innovation and adaptation, problems in resource management, and lack of support and staff development. Meanwhile, from an external aspect, the causes of the leadership crisis at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Batu Bara District are changes in government policy, economic pressure, competition with other educational institutions, and technological developments.

Abstract

Knowing the factors that contribute to students' critical thinking skills will help teachers design inclusive strategies, methods and approaches to improve children's critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental education and student gender on the critical thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years. Quantitative research approach with quasi-experiment 2x2 factorial design 2-way analysis. The research location is Aisyiyah Mamajang Kindergarten, Makassar City which is based on indicators of critical thinking ability. The collected data were analyzed with parametric statistics with prerequisite tests of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing with Two-Way ANOVA. The results showed that the last level of parental education had a significant effect, gender had no effect, there was no interaction between the last level of parental education and gender on the critical thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan  penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis pemahaman guru BK  terhadap self control dan pelaksanaan bimbingan konseling dalam meningkatkan mutu belajar pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Kabupaten Batu Bara. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan tehknik triangulasi dan subjek adalah guru Bimbingan Konseling. Temuan yang diperoleh tentang pemahaman guru bimbingan konseling mengenai self control baik, sesuai dengan aspek yang dikemukakan oleh teori Averill dan praktik pelaksanaan Bimbingan Konseling di MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram dalam meningkatkan self control siswa menggunakan teknis model bimbingan konseling konvensional secara islami, yaitu memberikan jenis layanan, proses, dan tindakan  sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik baik secara per-individu maupun kelompok. Mengenai siswa dalam berperilaku, normal layaknya siswa pada umumnya. Fungsi BK dalam hal ini dapat menimbulkan kesadaran diri hingga menyebabkan peserta didik dapat menerima kondisinya dengan baik dan menjadikan Rabb-Nya sebagai sandaran saat timbulnya masalah. Perhatian orang tua dan motivasi konselor sekolah juga berpengaruh terhadap sikap siswa dalam belajar, baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Pelaksanaan bimbingan konseling merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara bimbingan konseling konvensional dengan islami. Konselor mampu melayani siswa/i untuk meningkatkan kontrol diri mengenai nilai dalam Islam hingga menjadikan mutu belajar pada siswa dapat berkembang sesuai harapan. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Konseling; Kesadaran Diri; Siswa Aktif. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to explain and analyze the understanding of counseling teachers on self-control and the implementation of counseling in improving the quality of learning in students. This research was conducted at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Batu Bara Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with triangulation techniques and the main subject is the Counseling Guidance teacher. The findings obtained about the understanding of counseling guidance teachers regarding self-control are good, in accordance with the aspects put forward by Averill’s theory and the practice of implementing Counseling at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram in improving student self-control using conventional conventional Islamic counseling guidance models, namely providing types services, processes, and actions according to the needs of students, both individually and in groups. Regarding students’ behavior, normal like students in general. The function of BK in this case can lead to self-awareness (self control) so that students can accept their conditions well and make their Rabb a back when problems arise. In addition, the attention of parents and the motivation of school counselors also affects students’ attituudents’ attitudes in learning, both at school and atdes in learning, both at school and at home. Thus the implementation of counseling guidance at MAS Al-Washliyah Tanjung Tiram, Batu Bara Regency is the result of a collaboration between conventional counseling guidance and Islam. This makes the counselor able to serve students and female students to increase self-control regarding values in Islam so that the quality of learning in students can develop as expected. Keywords: Counseling Guidance; Self Control; Active Students.

Abstract

Abstract: In the Qur'an many are listed about ibrah or lessons that call for monotheism and the faith of a Muslim since the care of the prophet Adam AS to the prophet Muhammad SAW. One of the ibrah that we can take is from the story of Prophet Ibrahim AS listed in the Qur'an surah Al an,am 74-83 which explains the education and story of Prophet Ibrahim which calls on the monotheism of Prophet Ibrahim AS. Rubūbiyah monotheism education contained in verse 75 which explains that Allah SWT has shown signs of the greatness of Allah SWT in the sky and on earth to the prophet Ibrahim as so that his soul is directed Uluhiyah monotheism education This uluhiyah monotheism education is contained in verse 74 which explains that the father and the people of the prophet Ibrahim as making the idols they made as god. And verse 79, namely, the sincerity of Prophet Ibrahim as to surrender his gaze to Allah SWT and not follow his people to associate with Allah by worshiping other than Him such as worshiping the stars, the moon and the idols they made.Keywords : Monotheism Education; Surat Al- An’am; Islamic Education.
