Abstract

A learning model known as "project-based learning" makes use of projects or activities as media. Project-based learning is used in the lecture-based lathe machining practicum course. development into the creation of a project-based learning-based textbook for student learning materials on lathe machining practicums. The steps of analysis, design, media development, expert validation, and field testing are all included in the textbook development process. The average percentage received from material expert validation was 89%, whereas the average percentage obtained from media expert validation was 90.5%. Following field testing on students participating in a lathe machining practicum and expert validation, the field trial results yielded an 88.66% percentage. Expert validation and field testing results show that the textbook fits into the very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelelahan pengemudi BRT TransSemarang dan Trans Jateng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif denganmetode penelitian survei. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pengemudi BRT TransSemarang dan Trans Jateng. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: kuisionerIFRC dan observasi. Kuisioner digunakan sebagai sumber data utama, sedangkanobservasi digunakan sebagai data pendukung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalahmenggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelelahanpengemudi BRT Trans Semarang dan Trans Jateng adalah: (1) tidak lelah dengan jumlah 0;(2) kelelahan ringan dengan jumlah 84; (3) kelelahan sedang dengan jumlah 2; dan (4)kelalahan berat dengan jumlah 0.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan 4.0 merupakan paradigma pendidikan masa depan, dimana pembelajaran cybergogy yang diterapkan. Pembelajaran ini  memerlukan teknologi digital dan internet dalam penerapannya. Salah satu teknologi digital tersebut adalah video pembelajaran. Salah satu SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Tegal siap mendukung pendidikan 4.0 dengan menerapkan pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan video. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan digital guru produktif SMK.. Ada 3 tahapan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan dilakukan dengan (1) mengumpulkan informasi situasi di SMK, (2) mengatur waktu dan tempat pelatihan, dan (3) mempersiapkan alat dan bahan yang akan digunakan saat pelatihan, lembar kuesioner dan soal pretest & posttest. Tahap pelaksanaan menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan posttest, mengisi kuesioner kebermanfaatan pengabdian, dan pengamatan selama proses pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan ini diadakan pada tanggal 27 Juli 2023 dengan jumlah peserta 15 guru dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan dari 56,00 menjadi 77,33 dari skor maksimal 100. Selama proses pelatihan peserta pelatihan termotivasi. Peserta pelatihan merasa sangat puas dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan. Kata kunci: pendidikan 4.0; SMK; video pembelajaran; youtube ABSTRACTEducation 4.0 is a future educational paradigm, where cybergogy learning is applied. This learning is not only assisted by digital technology but uses the internet in its use. One of these digital technologies is learning videos. One State Vocational School in Tegal Regency is ready to support education 4.0 by implementing learning using videos. The purpose of this service is to improve the productive digital skills of SMK teachers. There were 3 stages in this service, namely, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparatory phase was carried out by (1) gathering information on the situation at the SMK, (2) arranging the time and place for the training, and (3) preparing the tools and materials to be used during the training and the pretest & posttest sheets. The implementation phase used several methods, namely lectures, demonstrations, and direct practice. Evaluation was carried out before, during and after the activity by providing pretest and posttest, observing during the training process, and assessing the performance of the trainees. The results of this service showed that this training held on July 27 2023 with a total of 15 teachers participating can increase the training participants' knowledge from 56.00 to 77.33 from a maximum score of 100. During the training process the training participants were motivated. Abstract

The traditional soybean filtration process in small- and medium-scale tofu industries remains inefficient due to labour-intensive operations, inconsistent extract quality, and high processing time. Manual pressing methods often result in reduced extract yield, uneven texture, and contamination risks. Therefore, this study aims to design and evaluate a soybean filtration machine powered by an electric motor and a low-torque gearbox, with the goal of improving efficiency, hygiene, and mechanical reliability. The research employed a Research and Development approach using the Four-D model: define, design, develop, and disseminate. A 0.5 hp electric motor was integrated with a 1:20 ratio gearbox to achieve stable rotational motion for the reciprocating filter system. The mechanical analysis indicated a total working force of 613.725 N, a motor torque of 61.37 Nm, and an output torque of 1,105 Nm after accounting for efficiency. The system demonstrated low structural deflection (0.405 mm) and a high safety factor of 3.81, confirming robust mechanical integrity. Experimental testing yielded a filtration efficiency of 93% and an average flow rate of 1.2 L/min, showing a 70–80% reduction in processing time compared to manual filtration. The feasibility assessment resulted in an 88.63% approval rating from operators, classifying the machine as highly feasible. Overall, the designed system effectively improves productivity, ergonomics, and product consistency in soybean-based food processing.

Abstract

Service satisfaction instruments are tools used to measure the level of user satisfaction with services provided by an institution, company, or organization. Service satisfaction instruments can be in the form of forms, applications, interviews, and many more. Service satisfaction instruments in the form of website applications have more advantages than others. Applications can be designed to suit various user needs. The service satisfaction instrument application at the Faculty of Engineering, UNNES, was designed as a form of renewal of the instrument that previously used a form. The instrument application has many advantages over the previously used form. The service satisfaction instrument application can present data in real-time after the user inputs an assessment. The application design is designed to be as attractive as possible so that users can use and receive information from the application easily. The application was developed using the agile software development method. This method is used because it has many advantages such as good flexibility and adaptability.In addition, the program is designed with a good structure to facilitate the development and maintenance process. With an organized structure, the code becomes more modular, clearly separated between components, and follows the principles of clean code.

Abstract

Painting defects in  the repainting  process in the vehicle body repair industry are still a common problem. The main factor causing painting defects is manual application that is not in accordance with standard operating procedures. Painting the vehicle body functions to protect the surface and increase aesthetic value, but there are still frequent painting defects such as rough surfaces, spots, and melting due to improper application. This study aims to examine the distance of application of clear coat to the quality of painting results with minimal defects. The research design used was an experimental  research design with a variety of spraying distances of 10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm and the measurement of the gloss value was carried out using a gloss meter. The results of the study show that the spraying distance greatly affects the gloss value of the painted results. A distance of 15 cm results in the best gloss value of 90.94 GU with no paint defects, while a distance of 25 cm results in the lowest gloss value of 58.50 GU with rough and dull surfaces. Too close a distance increases the shine power but has the potential to cause defects in the form of  a melted clear coat  layer. This study concluded that the optimal distance for spraying clear coats is 15 cm to achieve high-quality painting results
