Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan rasa empati terhadap berbagai permasalahan yang ada dilingkungan Masyarakat dan juga mewujudkan salah satu implementasi Tridharma perguruan tinggi yaitu berupa pemberdayaan Masyarakat. Desa Pendem merupakan salah satu desa dari 12 wilayah yang ada pada Kecamatan Janapria, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Kondisi tanah Desa Pendem yang subur menjadi potensi dilakukannya penanaman bibit pohon maupun bibit buah. Melihat kondisi tanah yang mendukung tim pengabdian melakukan pembagian bibit tanaman di daerah desa pendem. Kegiatan penanaman bibit pohon maupun bibit buah meliputi perencanaan penanaman, persiapan penanaman, dan proses penanaman. Pembagian dan penanaman bibit pohon ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keuntungan baik dari segi lahan, juga dapat meningkatkan komoditas Desa Pendem. Selain itu juga kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa memberikan sumbangsih kepada kelestarian lingkungan desa Pendem dan beriorientasi pada perencanaan Desa wisata yang sekiranya ada di Desa Pendem Kecamatan Janapria. Kegiatan program pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan baik dan berhasil, berdasarkan pengukuran tiga komponen. Tiga komponen tersebut yaitu kesesuaian dengan keinginan masyarakat, kerjasama pengabdian bersama masyarakat, dan Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

Sesaot Village is a tourist village in West Lombok Regency, and is the recipient of the Indonesian Tourism Village Award. This village has natural tourist destinations and several artistic and cultural attractions typical of the local community. In order to realize the vision of Sesaot Village as a religious, cultural and independent tourist village, it is very important to pay attention to supporting infrastructure, namely roads. The Sesaot Village has realized government-assisted development funds to carry out road maintenance and construction. This development needs to be closely monitored by the community so that it can achieve targets on time, at the right quality and at the right cost. Supervision can only be carried out if the community has sufficient understanding, especially in budget planning and implementation time plans. Base on current issues, training need be conducted with the following objectives: 1) To give an overview of the complexity involved in creating a budget and schedule for an road infrastructure project; 2) To impart knowledge on the meticulous, accurate, and precise preparation of a Budget Plan (RAB) and timetable. Goal-achieving strategies cover everything from implementation phases to work processes and evaluation. The process of implementation is divided into three primary stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preliminary survey/observation and socialization are two steps in the preparation stage. The preparation of participant materials and training tools, training, and mentorship activities, as well as the service team's discussion and consideration of the activities' execution, are all included in the execution Stage. Community service activities in the form of training carried out for one day, attended by 20 participants, received a good response from the Village Government and the community. The planned events transpired without a hitch and significantly influenced the participants' capacity to draft the RAB and timetable for the road project's implementation. This is shown by the increase in the average pre-test to post-test scores of most participants. It is hoped that the knowledge acquired would serve for being allowed to take part in future monitoring the road construction program in Sesaot Village.

Abstract

Kurangnya tempat pembuangan sampah di Desa Kuripan Utara menjadi salah satu penyebab mengapa sampah masih merupakan masalah yang sulit teratasi. Sampah masih menjadi salah satu masalah utama yang ada di Desa Kuripan Utara, Kecamatan Kuripan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Di desa ini banyak sampah yang ditemukan di sungai, selokan, serta di kebun warga, terkadang juga di halaman rumah warga yang kurang kesadaran pentingnya kebersihan dan kesehatan, sehingga sampah dapat mencemari lingkungan sekitar. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya sarana tempat pembuangan sampah di desa ini. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pengabdian tentang pembuatan tempat sampah berbahan dasar bambu sebagai penguatan budaya hidup bersih dan sehat masyarakat. Pohon bambu yang ditanam oleh warga desa ini juga cukup banyak, sehingga sangat tepat sekali jika bambu ini dijadikan tempat sampah sehingga bernilai ekonomis. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Kuripan Utara, Kecamatan Kuripan kabupaten Lombok Barat dan dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap yaitu persiapan, penyuluhan, pelaksanaan pembuatan dan distribusi. Edukasi mengenai dampak buruk dari pembuangan sampah sembarangan, bersama dengan pemberian solusi berupa pembuatan tempat sampah yang sesuai, memberikan kontribusi positif dalam merubah perilaku masyarakat.

Abstract

The increase in the number of road construction projects has led to an increase in the need for road pavement materials (aggregate and asphalt). Currently it takes about 1.6 million tonnes/year of asphalt, as well as aggregate. Seeing these conditions, it is necessary to anticipate the use of waste or natural resources that have not been utilized optimally. In this study, fly ash (PLTU waste) was used as aggregate and Asbuton (Buton Island rock asphalt) was used as a binder for the asphalt mixture. As an effort to save energy, the stirring system is cold. Based on the volumetric characteristics of the artificial coarse aggregate, it only meets the specifications for the VMA value, while the VIM and VFB values have not been met. The mechanical properties (stability and flow values) of the cold asphalt mixture on the replacement of natural aggregate with 25% artificial aggregate met the requirements, but did not meet the Marshall Quotien requirements

Abstract

Cold Emulsion Asphalt Mixture (CAED) uses unheated emulsified asphalt, thus reducing gas emissions and health risks for workers. Volumetric characteristics and aggregate gradation are very important to assess the quality of CAED. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the volumetric characteristics of CAED, namely Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), and Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB), with variations in filler (cement, lime) and aggregate gradation (dense, open). The study used a laboratory experimental method, including material preparation, sample preparation with five variations of filler, testing VIM, VMA, and VFB values, and data analysis. This study shows that the volumetric characteristics of CAED with closed and open gradations meet the VMA and VFB specifications, but the VIM value is only met in the closed gradation of CAED with a variation of 50% cement:50%. Better aggregate interlocking in closed gradations results in smaller air voids. Closed gradations are recommended for heavy traffic, while open gradations are suitable for well-drained roads and light traffic

Abstract

This research is a qualitative analysis of lecturers' research productivity. This productivity is viewed from law about teachers and lecturers and Republic of Indonesia Government Regulations about lecturers. Especially the research areas in the rubric (PO BKD)which is monograph or reference book, producing work published in international journals and national journals. Meanwhile, the factors that influence productivity observed are Institutional Support, Digital Literacy, Rewards, Sanctions, and Competence. The subjects in this research were 14 ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong lecturers from all study programs. Data collection was carried out by interviews and distributing perception questionnaires. The results of this research show that the productivity level of lecturers who have high academic positions are more productive in support. Then institutions and digital literacy skills have a big influence on lecturer productivity, while rewards and sanctions are quite influential.

Abstract

The increasing number of motor vehicles in Indonesia has led to a rise in waste tires, which are difficult to decompose naturally. Utilizing this waste as road construction material aligns with the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle. This study aims to analyze the effect of waste tire crumb rubber as a fine aggregate substitute on the Marshall characteristics and volumetric parameters of Cold Asphalt Emulsion Mixture (CAEM). The experimental method was conducted using five substitution levels (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%), which were tested using the Marshall Test to determine stability, flow, Marshall Quotient (MQ), and volumetric parameters (VIM, VMA, VFA). The addition of recycled rubber from waste tires influences the mechanistic behavior of asphalt mixtures. Test results show a trend of increasing VIM and decreasing VMA and VFA, with the optimal void balance achieved at a rubber content of 5–10%. The elastomeric properties of the rubber particles enhance the elastic deformation capacity, thereby improving the mixture’s flexibility up to a 5% content. At 10%, the flow value decreases, indicating greater stiffness or stability. Higher contents tend to disrupt the continuity of the asphalt matrix and weaken the aggregate bonding, consistent with the material’s viscoelastic behavior. Therefore, a 5% rubber content provides the best balance between stability, flexibility, and void characteristics, while also improving the durability of the asphalt mixture. The use of this material offers environmental benefits by reducing solid waste and supporting the concept of sustainable development in pavement construction. Further studies are recommended to include water susceptibility tests, evaluations of plastic deformation under repeated loading, and field-scale testing to verify performance under actual service conditions

Abstract

Desa Peresak merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil pangan di Lombok Tengah yang sebagian besar masyarakatnya bergantung pada sektor pertanian. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi, Desa Peresak masih menghadapi permasalahan pengelolaan sampah plastik yang cukup tinggi, sementara pemanfaatannya masih sangat minim. Oleh karena itu, program ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah plastik sekaligus mengubahnya menjadi produk kerajinan yang memiliki nilai estetika dan ekonomi. Sasaran utama program ini adalah masyarakat, khususnya remaja desa, agar mereka dapat memahami bahwa sampah plastik bukan sekedar sampah, tetapi dapat didaur ulang menjadi karya yang indah dan bermanfaat. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan bunga sakura plastik mampu menambah estetika lingkungan Desa Peresak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah plastik dengan pendekatan kreatif. Program ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kebersihan lingkungan, tetapi juga membuka peluang usaha baru berupa kerajinan tangan berbasis daur ulang sampah plastik.
