Abstract

Islamic banking is one of the economic sectors that is affected by the current economic climate. To contribute to overall economic growth, this measure becomes a benchmark for banks and other financial institutions. The people of the Helvetia village are starting to consider using Islamic banks as a transaction tool and also making Islamic banks a place to save money. The increasing interest of the Helvetia sub-district community has made Islamic banks increasingly popular among the public and used more in non-cash transactions every day. Banks that carry out business activities based on sharia or Islamic legal principles in accordance with Law No. 21 of 2008 concerning sharia banking. There is also the purpose of this study to find out about the interest and knowledge of the Helvetia sub-district community about Islamic banking which is increasing very rapidly.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia's primary responsibility in monetary, banking and payment systems is to ensure monetary and financial system stability. Without financial system stability, Bank Indonesia's success in maintaining monetary stability will not be significant. support long-term economic growth. The forces associated with money and monetary soundness resemble different sides of a coin that cannot be separated. Financial stability is the foundation upon which the efficacy of monetary policy is built, and the converse is that monetary policy has a significant impact on financial stability. Because the financial system is one of the monetary policy transmission channels, monetary policy transmission cannot function normally if financial system instability occurs. Conversely, financial system stability will be fundamentally affected by monetary instability due to ineffective financial system operations. Therefore, maintaining financial system stability remains the duty and responsibility of Bank Indonesia.

Abstract

Despite the fact that Islamic banking has developed significantly to date, business activities and the risks associated with operating financial institutions cannot be separated. When Islamic banking functions as a financial intermediary for Indonesian businesses, there will always be risks. Risk management can measure and mitigate risks to find solutions to problems. At Bank Syariah Indonesia, the implementation of risk management is going well. The implementation of risk management is generally divided into 8, namely: credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk, operational risk, legal risk, compliance risk, reputation risk, strategic risk. The following is the implementation of good risk management: Risk management governance must go through internal control processes and risk management processes. Therefore, Banks must identify and manage risk management inherent in every banking system activity.

Abstract

Banking plays an important role in the country’s economic development because banking is an institution that controls the country’s economy. Public trust continues to increase along with the improvement in the quality of services provided by banks. This study was conducted by looking at the bank’s ability to fulfill its obligations, namely in terms of financial performance, namely to determine the level of bank liquidity. This liquidity ratio measures the ability of a company or bank to pay its debts or short-term obligations. The research subjects in this study were PT. North Sumatra Regional Development Bank or commonly known as Bank SUMUT in 2019-2022. Bank Sumut is one of the banks in Indonesia which has the company name PT Regional Development Bank of North Sumatra, with its head office on Jl Imam Bonjol No. 18, Medan, North Sumatra.
