Abstract

The aim of this research is to be able to design and build a Mobile-Based Customer Complaint Information System at PDAM Magelang City, and to find out the impact of implementing a customer complaint information system at PDAM Magelang City. The research methodology used is a software engineering approach. Meanwhile, the system development method uses Waterfall. The stages are Requirements Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Implementation and Unit Testing, Operation and Maintenance. The system design used in this research is modeling using Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). The result of this research is a mobile-based customer complaint information system at PDAM Magelang City. And the impact of implementing this customer complaints system is that PDAM Kota Magelang can receive customer complaints in real time with a score of 84.4%, customers can submit complaints anytime and anywhere via cellphone or Android-based gadget.Keywords: Customer Complaint Information System,  Magelang City, PDAM, Mobile, Waterfall.

Abstract

The era of globalization brings significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the world of education. MAN 1 Magelang is one of the educational institutions that strives to utilize technology to improve services provided through the website One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP). With the existence of the PTSP website, it is expected to facilitate the management of services for schools, and also provide convenience to the community who need services from MAN 1 Magelang because they do not have to come to the school when submitting a service request. The purpose of this study is to design and build a website-based information system that suits the needs of MAN 1 Magelang, with a focus on efficiency and reliability to support PTSP, and to see its impact on service quality. This research is a software development research with the agile method which is an advanced approach to SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). The research procedures carried out consist of planning, design, development, testing, implementation, review, and launch. User evaluation testing or user acceptance testing (UAT) produced a value of 90%. This shows that Admin and Guest users stated that they "strongly agree" with the existence of the system. In addition, the results of the blackbox testing test showed that all existing features can be accessed properly. This means that the system can run well without any bugs or errorsKeywords PTSP, Agile, SDLC, Madrasah, Web.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the role of professional education and microteaching courses on the professional competence of physics class IV physics students. This study includes ex post facto research. The sample of this research is Field Supervisor (DPL) student of field practice (PPL) Physics Education department class IV that guide 18 students. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are techniques of analysis of correlation and advanced analysis using coefficient of determination. The result of this research is that the influence of professional education and micro teaching subject to professional competence based on final score is included into very strong category that is equal to 1 with percentage of 100%. Based on the questionnaire obtained the influence of professional education subject to professional competence enter into very strong criteria with calculation of correlation of 1 and percentage of 100%. So that the subjects of teaching profession and micro teaching are very influential and actively participate in the professional competence of PPL Physics University of Pasir Pengaraian students. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh peranan mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan microteaching terhadap kompetensi profesional mahasiswa PPL fisika angkatan IV. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian ex-post facto. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL) mahasiswa PPL Prodi Pendidikan fisika angkatan IV yang membimbing 18 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kolerasi dan analisis lanjutan menggunakan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa pengaruh mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan microteaching terhadap kompetensi profesional berdasarkan nilai akhir termasuk kedalam kategori sangat kuat yaitu sebesar 1 dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan angket diperoleh pengaruh matakuliah profesi kependidikan terhadap kompetensi profesional masuk ke dalam kriteria sangat kuat dengan perhitungan korelasi sebesar 1 dan persentase sebesar 100%. Sehingga mata kuliah profesi kependidikan dan microteaching sangat berpengaruh dan berperan aktif terhadap kompetensi profesional mahasiswa PPL Fisika Universitas Pasir Pengaraian.

Abstract

This study aimed at detecting the presence of groundwater in Masda Makmur Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency, using the Schlumberger configuration geoelectric method. The study consisted of 3 sounding points within every 100 m sounding track length. The measurement data is processed using IP2WIN software and Progress to see layer data below the ground level based on the value of the resistivity type. The results showed that the estimated groundwater could be found on track one with a kind of resistivity value of 7,44 Ωm at a depth of 15-22 m. Alleged groundwater can be found on the second track with a type of resistivity value of 75,73  Ωmat a depth of 13-18 m, and the estimated groundwater can be located on the third track with a kind of resistivity value of 82,52 Ωm, 93,26 Ωm. The deeper and the lower resistivity value shows that the layer has the potential as a carrier layer of groundwater (aquifer). Sounding 1 and 2 have the potential to make bore wells which are thought to be depressed aquifer. The results of this study can be used further for mapping the location of community boreholes

Abstract

This study aimed to predict Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) values for the Bengkulu region using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. The ANN model utilized earthquake parameter inputs, including magnitude, depth, and hypocenter distance, with soil PGA data collected from the Bengkulu City area. The PGA values were estimated using a neural network model, with the results optimized, validated, and evaluated for performance. The model accurately predicted PGA for large-magnitude earthquakes (R² = 0.99 for magnitudes 7.9–6.5). However, its performance declined significantly for smaller magnitudes (R² = 0.0141 for magnitude 4), reflecting challenges in accurately capturing input parameters, like focal depth and epicentre distance for low-magnitude events. Across a magnitude range of 4.0 to 7.9, the model achieved an overall R² value of 0.99, indicating high accuracy, particularly for larger magnitudes. However, the model's performance declined for lower magnitudes, with R² values dropping significantly, attributed to inaccuracies in input parameters, such as focal depth, epicentre distance, and period. The study provided logarithmic equations for each magnitude range tailored to the seismic characteristics of Bengkulu City, highlighting the importance of localized PGA prediction models. The findings suggest the potential effectiveness of the ANN model for improving earthquake early warning systems and seismic risk management in Bengkulu City under simulated conditions, particularly for large-magnitude earthquakes (R² = 0.99). However, the model’s limitations in predicting PGA for low-magnitude events (R² = 0.0141) highlight the need for further refinement before real-world implementation. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge by validating and refining the ANN approach for region-specific seismic conditions, offering a practical tool for local authorities and disaster management agencies. Future research should improve the model's accuracy for low-magnitude earthquakes and explore hybrid machine learning techniques to enhance predictive.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to design and simulate an automatic watering system utilizing a DHT11 sensor and a soil moisture sensor for vanilla cultivation, incorporating fuzzy logic control. The system can effectively adjust watering frequency based on soil moisture and ambient temperature, ensuring optimal plant care and maintaining ideal growth conditions for vanilla without manual intervention. Using the ADDIE development model, this system was designed to meet the needs of users, including farmers. Testing using MATLAB software using Rule Viewer and Simulink, as well as Arduino IDE software running with Proteus, yielded the same output values when the input values were also identical. Therefore, the IoT simulation of vanilla cultivation using fuzzy logic control can be effectively implemented in accordance with the research objectives. The results of this study demonstrate the great potential of applying IoT technology to support efficiency and effectiveness in plant maintenance. This system also provides an efficient and accurate monitoring solution compared to manual methods, operating automatically without requiring human intervention.

Abstract

The success of the digital digitization process is influenced by various factors, including the competence of national human resources in the digital field. Learning or training activities to increase competency as a preparation for potential competency test participants, cannot be included in a formal learning activity, because in a training, participants come from various diverse backgrounds, will have various obstacles and problems in participating in formal learning or training. Development of an online training system framework that can be used to improve the competence of prospective workers or competency test participants at a training institution or institution where competency tests are held, especially in the field of computer science. The framework structure developed includes: a) Determination of competency unit achievements in accordance with the competency test scheme to be followed, b) Online presentation of material divided into competency units, c) Initial self-assessment, d) Online independent learning, e) Discussion and f) Final independent assessment. In addition to developing the framework, an online training application was also developed as a tool in the implementation of the developed training system framework. The practicality test results for using the application for 33 respondents were an average percentage of 91%. The effectiveness value obtained after carrying out the initial independent assessment for 18 experimental class participants was: 48% competent, and became 94% in the final assessment

Abstract

The digital start-up ENT Baby Equipment and Toys Rental was founded with the aim of meeting families' needs for baby equipment and various toys that can be rented for a certain period of time. Because the use of equipment, equipment and toys for babies and children is relatively short and not everyone can afford it, this rental service is very helpful for those who have limited funds. ENT can be accessed via the ENT Mobile Apps application online with the aim of making it easier for consumers to choose the items they want to rent without having to come directly to the equipment rental place. ENT is affiliated with several trusted and registered baby equipment and toy rental partners. In this way, ENT will bridge between consumers and rental partners for baby equipment and children's toys. The design method uses the User Center Design method, while the business process analysis uses the SWOT method and needs analysis uses the TELOS analysis method. Based on Usability Testing using the Usability Heuristic method approach, the average indicator assessment was 86%. This shows that the ENT digital start-up application gives an intuitive and user-friendly impression so that it can be accepted and easy to understand by users.
