Abstract

The lack of student participation in each lesson is caused by the learning model that is still conventional. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the development of classroom media using the problem-based learning model. The research method used is the research and development method. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the PBL-based Google Classroom media is considered very feasible. This indicates that the media created has met the requirements for ease of use, instructional design, and content quality. The results of the media usage test indicate that student learning outcomes have improved. This is evidenced by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test of students, which increased significantly after using the PBL-based Google Classroom media. Students also showed improvements in critical thinking capacity, teamwork, and active participation in the learning process, as well as being more motivated to learn, and more active in completing problem-based tasks.

Abstract

The powerlessness of the community, especially parents, in improving their children's education is caused by economic problems, one of which is the economic problem. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are a strong relationship between the socio-economic conditions of parents and the motivation of students to continue higher education. This result is proven by the Partial test (T Test) with the results of the T count value obtained of 3.274. It is concluded that T count (3.274) > T table (2.042) with the results of H0 rejected H1 accepted. Supported by the significant results of the Partial T Test of 0.003 with the criteria if sig > α (0.05), then H0 is accepted H1 is rejected otherwise sig < α (0.05), then H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. Thus, the sig value of 0.003 < 0.05 has the status of H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Indicates that the socio-economic conditions of parents have a significant relationship with the motivation of students to continue higher education.

Abstract

One of the causes of the decline in student learning outcomes is due to the learning method that is still conventional. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of project-based learning models using videos on students' understanding of economic learning materials at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara. The research method used is a quantitative research method. The results of the study show that based on the results of the hypothesis test, the t-count value is obtained = 5.413, then the t-count value is confirmed on the t-table value from the critical value for the t-distribution with a significant level of 5% (α = 0.05) with dk = 45. While the critical value of the t-distribution is obtained t-table value of 1.680. So because the t-count value = 5.413 is greater than the t-table value = 1.680, then accept Ha and reject H0 which means there is an effect of project-based learning models using videos on the understanding of Economic learning materials for grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kancing Gemerincing Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Idanoi Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025, penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 1 gunungsitoli Idanoi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kancing Gemerincing (2) Untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Kancing Gemerincing dalam proses belajar mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Idanoi yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi (Guru dan Siswa), dokumentasi dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, diketahui bahwa : (1) Hasil observasi guru pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata 54,16%, sedangkan pada siklus II kemampuan guru dalam pelaksanakan proses pembelajaran mencapai rata-rata 87,49%. (2) Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata 45,11% dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dengan rata-rata mencapai 87,49%. (3) Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran pada siklus I, diperoleh rata-rata yaitu 74,25%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,43%. (4) Persentase kelulusan yang dicapai pada siklus I adalah sebesar 65,62% dan siklus II mencapai 90,62%. Dengan demikian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kancing Gemerincing Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Idanoi Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

The successful implementation of a curriculum is determined by teachers’ understanding of curriculum content, their readiness in planning and implementing instruction, as well as the availability of training and school resources. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are required to be more autonomous in designing learning activities, implementing differentiated instruction, and carrying out the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This study aims to describe teachers’ difficulties in understanding the principles and basic concepts of the Merdeka Curriculum, analyze the obstacles faced by teachers in designing learning activities using the Merdeka Curriculum approach, identify the challenges encountered in implementing differentiated learning and the P5 project, explain teachers’ difficulties in conducting formative and summative assessments based on learning outcomes, and reveal the role of facilities, infrastructure, and the school environment in supporting or hindering the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study employs a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the findings, the difficulties experienced by subject teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum include limited understanding of curriculum concepts, challenges in planning and implementing learning activities, suboptimal assessment practices, and external factors that influence curriculum implementation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The low level of student creativity and learning achievement in Integrated Social Studies among eighth-grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Sirombu is reflected in the percentage of mastery that has not reached the minimum standard and the limited active participation of students in the learning process. This study focuses on examining the effectiveness of implementing the Experiential Learning model in improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages, involving 20 students as research subjects. The learning model was applied through the stages of concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. Data were collected through observation sheets on learning implementation, student creativity observation sheets, documentation, and learning achievement tests. The data were analyzed descriptively using percentages and mean scores, with a minimum mastery criterion (MMC) of 70 and a success indicator of at least 80%. The findings revealed improvements across all indicators: the implementation of learning increased from 48.33% to 85.83%, student creativity from 43.74% to 85.70%, the average score from 74.28 to 79.90, and learning mastery from 65% to 90%. Therefore, the implementation of Experiential Learning proved effective in strengthening student engagement and academic achievement in Social Studies instruction. ABSTRAK Rendahnya kreativitas dan capaian hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Terpadu di kelas VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Sirombu ditunjukkan oleh persentase ketuntasan yang belum mencapai standar minimal serta kurangnya partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berfokus pada efektivitas penerapan model Experiential Learning dalam memperbaiki kualitas proses dan capaian pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, dengan subjek sebanyak 20 siswa. Model pembelajaran diterapkan melalui tahapan pengalaman konkret, refleksi, konseptualisasi abstrak, dan eksperimen aktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi kreativitas siswa, dokumentasi, serta tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan persentase dan nilai rata-rata dengan acuan KKM 70 dan indikator keberhasilan minimal 80%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbaikan pada seluruh indikator, yaitu keterlaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat dari 48,33% menjadi 85,83%, kreativitas siswa dari 43,74% menjadi 85,70%, rata-rata nilai dari 74,28 menjadi 79,90, serta ketuntasan belajar dari 65% menjadi 90%. Dengan demikian, penerapan Experiential Learning terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat keterlibatan siswa dan capaian akademik pada pembelajaran IPS.
