Abstract

Eksistensi BUMDES yang seharusnya menjadi sokoguru kemadirian ekonomi desa, justru banyak menimbulkan problematika, seperti persoalan sumber daya manusia pengelola, minimnya modal usaha, rendahnya kapasitas wirausaha, dan sebagainya. Atas dasar tersebut tim PKM FISIP Universitas Halu Oleo melaksanakan kegiatan, yang bertujuan: untuk: 1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan moralitas kewirausahaan pengelola BUMDES, agar dalam pemanfaatan dana dilakukan secara jujur, terbuka, adil, profesional, dan berorientasi masa depan; 2) Meningkatkan kemampuan pengelola BUMDES dalam hal kewirausahaan dan tata kelola program yang bermuara pada peningkatan kualitas hasil program dan produksi, dan 3) Mendorong agar pengelola BUMDES dapat membangun sinergi dengan lembaga ekonomi lain, serta mampu menguasai pasar lokal dan regional. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka metode yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan dengan memfokuskan pada pendekatan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelatihan Kewirausahaan bagi pengelola BUMDES, memiliki fungsi dalam upaya mendorong tumbuhkembangnya ekonomi desa dan menciptakan lapangan kerja; 2) Pelatihan kewirausahaan menjadi starting point bagi pengelola, dan kelompok sasaran dalam mengidentifikasi tantangan dan hambatan dalam pengelolaan BUMDES; 3) Pelaksanaan pelatihan menjadi wahana tukar menukar pengalaman pengelola BUMDES yang diwujudkan melalui kerjasama, akses pasar, dan adaptasi teknologi berbasis kewirausahaan. Selanjutnya, kesimpulan dari pelaksanan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat adalah terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kapasitas kewirausahaan pengelola BUMDES, yang indikatornya dalam sesi diskusi dan studi kasus.

Abstract

Empowerment of Posyandu Cadres through the socialization of reproductive and mental health among adolescents aims to increase the capacity and skills of Posyandu Cadres in immunization services, community nutrition education, maternal and child health services, sex education for adolescents, and reproductive health counseling. To achieve this goal, the method used is training by focusing on the extension approach and FGD. The results show that the Empowerment of Posyandu Cadres through the socialization of reproductive and mental health among adolescents has the following functions: 1) increasing cadre capacity in the form of knowledge, experience, and technical skills in maternal and child health services, as well as knowledge of reproductive and mental health for adolescents; 2) Counseling on reproductive and mental health among adolescents will bring closer the understanding of Posyandu Cadres, parents, and government officials about the importance of instilling ethical and moral values ​​for youth; 3) The implementation of the discussion becomes a vehicle for exchanging information and experiences from the community service team, Posyandu cadres, midwives, and village officials; so that there is a shared commitment to socialize the movement for basic health services, to create cheap, healthy, fair and sustainable services.

Abstract

The child is the next generation of the nation, however, often humans forget that the presence of the child is not always in the position of quratul'ain (eye conditioner) but the child can potentially become aduwwan wa fitnatan (enemies and trials), therefore this is part of the task that needs to be considered by parents as a mandate so that parents should provide the best education. The methods used in this counseling and training activity are lectures and discussions/questions and answers and training. Lectures are used to explain, among other things, the positive impacts and negative impacts of media technology well as ways to maximize the positive impact and avoid the negative impact of gadget users on their children. Then continued with a discussion/question and answer about the problem of educating children in using communication technology. This activity has managed to achieve the expected goal.  Counseling participants are ultimately able to understand the positive and negative impacts of media technology, as well as be able to understand how to assist children to grow up as a smart generation who can maximize the use of communication technology.  The contribution of this training provides awareness for parents, about the importance of educating, educating children using information technology in the era of modernization.

Abstract

Synchronizing village funds with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is essential to achieve sustainable, inclusive village development and improve the welfare of village communities. Achieving these goals requires technical understanding from village government officials. Therefore, technical guidance on optimizing the utilization of village funds is crucial to ensure effective, transparent, and accountable fund management, so that it can support the achievement of the SDGs targets at the village level. This research uses lecture and case discussion methods to provide a theoretical and practical understanding of strategies to optimize the utilization of village funds in line with the SDGs. Through the combination of these two methods, it is expected that village officials can plan, implement, and supervise the use of village funds more effectively and efficiently. The results of this community service concluded that technical guidance on the optimization of village funds is essential to ensure the effective, transparent, and accountable use of village funds. Technical guidance helps village officials understand effective fund management techniques, encourages community participation, accelerates village development, and ensures funds are used as needed. Optimization of village funds supports sustainable development with a focus on good governance operations, development implementation, and community empowerment. Synchronizing village funds with the SDGs is urgent to solve village problems such as poverty and climate change, ensure inclusive and sustainable development, and improve the quality of life of rural communities.

Abstract

The Training on Strengthening Fishery Business Groups in Lambusa Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency, succeeded in improving the skills and knowledge of villagers in the cultivation, processing, and marketing of fishery products. Participatory training methods involving counseling and practice have proven to be effective in building internal group relationships as well as connectivity with governments, financial institutions, and market participants. The training includes fishery resource management, sustainable aquaculture techniques, marketing, and financial management, which supports increasing the productivity and income of fishery business groups. As a result, there has been an increase in solidarity and cooperation between members, as well as village social and economic welfare. The training also strengthens the concept of community empowerment through a participatory and sustainable approach, providing applicative skills to overcome concrete problems and achieve self-reliance. The evaluation showed the high enthusiasm of the participants and the significant application of knowledge, contributing to the sustainable development of the village and the capacity building of the fishery business group.

Abstract

Freshwater fish farming businesses face various obstacles, such as low knowledge and skills of fish farmers and limited access to the latest technology and information, which has an impact on productivity and crop quality. To overcome this problem, group institutional development training activities with a sociological approach are carried out to increase the capacity of fish farmers, strengthen coordination, and encourage the adoption of more efficient and sustainable farming practices. The method applied is participatory, by prioritizing collaboration between fish farmers and extension workers through discussions, technical training, and continuous assistance. The results of the activity showed that this training was effective in improving the technical skills of farmers, strengthening group coordination, and building collective awareness to adopt the latest innovations and technologies. Practically, this activity contributes to increasing the productivity and welfare of farmers, while theoretically, enriching the study of development sociology through the analysis of social interaction in the institution of farmer groups. Thus, strengthening institutional capacity and applying innovative technology is key to increasing the social and economic resilience of fish farmers sustainably.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the Family Hope Program in improving the welfare of poor families. This research is a qualitative research using a case study approach, where information data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the implementation of the Family Hope Program (FHP/CCT) in improving the welfare of poor families includes: first, the field of Education, which is a forum for improving human resources, namely through (CCT) to increase the access of the poor in education, as well as to reduce the number of children who drop out of school, and or difficulties in financing to continue education. Second, the health sector, which opens access for the poor to reach health services for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women, and the elderly and disabled. This paper contributes to the development of science related to the theme of social welfare programs
