Abstract

The perception and role of practical wisdom in implementing religious moderation policies which are built from the lecturer's perspective are open and democratic because they uphold academic culture. However, the unsystematic implementation of top-down policies has the potential to ignore the creative participation of task implementers in the field. The approach to insert religious moderation is stronger when listening to the good practices of learning implementers, namely lecturers. This article aimed to find out the role of lecturers' initiatives in strengthening religious moderation as implementers of learning in non-religious courses. The research was conducted with a qualitative phenomenological type. The research participants involved twenty-seven non-religious lecturers from 9 study programs. The data were extracted using the technique of focused group discussions and document analysis. The results of the lecturers’ practical wisdom are as follows, 1) religious moderation is perceived by lecturers as a wise view in responding to differences, a middle-way view that is not extreme to the left and right, and the ability to moderate multiculturally; 2) lecturers as learning actors in the field have creative, authentic and autonomous goodwill in inserting religious moderation so that responsive lecturers are found to prevent early risks of student radicalism, intolerance, and religious exclusivism; 3) lecturers can find learning methods in class by inserting religious moderation in general courses even though there are no technical-operational instructions in the learning process. It showed that lecturers in the context of implementing religious moderation responded quickly so that their practical wisdom provides solutions to accelerate the achievement of religious moderation that is actually more participatory.

Abstract

Religious moderation is needed due to the fact that happened today. This study aimed to explore the values of religious moderation on the primary level at MI Miftahul Huda Ngadireso Poncokusumo which gained the MURI Record. This qualitative descriptive study used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to collect primary data from the headmaster, five teachers, and fifteen fifth-grade students. The result shows that long before the launching of religious moderation, this school has been implementing the values of religious moderation till reached the achievement. The respondents also add some statements that religious moderation is important specifically as a provision for primary students to improve nationalism, tolerance, against violence, and adaptation to local culture. The findings indicate that amar ma’ruf nahi munkar is implemented frequently.

Abstract

The principal’s strategy in shaping student character, especially leadership character, is very important to create a generation of leaders with quality and integrity. With the right strategy, principals can direct students to develop their leadership potential, motivate them to take responsibility, and teach important ethical values in leadership. This study has the objectives of (1) Knowing the principal’s strategic planning to develop student leadership character at SMP Alam Mutiara Umat Tulungagung (2) To describe the implementation of the principal’s strategy to develop student leadership character at SMP Alam Mutiara Umat Tulungagung (3) Knowing the evaluation of the principal’s strategy school to develop student leadership character at Alam Mutiara Umat Middle School. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research where in this case the researcher fully understands the phenomena that occur and in maintaining the authenticity of the data, the researcher is actively involved and goes directly to the field. Data collection was carried out by means of semi-structural interviews, observation and documentation. Respondents who were used as data sources were school principals, deputy heads of student affairs, deputy heads of public relations, deputy heads of curriculum and deputy heads of infrastructure. The data that has been obtained will be processed using the process of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The credibility of the data is done by checking the triangulation procedure of data sources and techniques. The results of the study revealed that the principal’s strategy for developing student leadership character at Alam Mutiara Umat Middle School, Tulungagung Regency was: (1) The principal made a plan by establishing student leadership character development programs (2) in implementing the principal’s strategy optimizing the leadership character development program students through forum meetings (3) Evaluation of the principal’s strategy for developing student leadership character by way of performance appraisal to find out whether the program being implemented can develop student leadership character.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: 1) the application of the Explicit Instruction learning model. 2) improvement in PAI learning outcomes regarding the harmony between student movements and prayer reading after implementing explicit instruction for class III students at SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo. This research is classroom action research that uses a qualitative approach although the data analysis also uses a simple quantitative strategy which aims to describe the percentage increase in PAI learning outcomes regarding the harmony between movements and prayer readings for class III students at SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo. Data collection used in this research, namely. 1) observation. 2) Documentation. 3) Test. 4) interview. Then the results of this research are reviewed from planning, application or execution, observation and reflection to reach conclusions. The conclusions from the results of this research are: 1) Application of the Explicit Instruction learning model to class III A students at SD Negeri 1 Rejosari. The implementation of PAI learning in class III of SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo which is carried out by the teacher is in reality less than satisfactory. The application of the Explicit Instruction learning model to this subject can be accepted with positive responses from students which always increase significantly. Step-by-step learning of students' learning activities can actually improve PAI learning outcomes, including the harmony between movements and prayer readings for students to continue to be active in learning. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) penerapan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction. 2) peningkatan hasil belajar PAI materi keserasian antara gerakan dan bacaan sholat siswa setelah diterapkan explicit instruction siswa kelas III SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif meskipun pada analisis datanya juga menggunakan strategi kuantitatif sederhana yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persentase peningkatan hasil belajar PAI materi keserasian antara gerakan dan bacaan sholat siswa kelas III SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo. Pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini, yakni. 1) observasi. 2) Dokumentasi. 3) Tes. 4) wawancara. Kemudian Hasil penelitian ini ditinjau dari perencanaan, penerapan atau pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi sampai pada mencapai kesimpulan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yakni: 1) Penerapan model pembelajaran Explicit Instruction pada siswa kelas III A SD Negeri 1 Rejosari. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAI di kelas III SD Negeri 1 Donomulyo yang di laksanakan oleh guru pada realitanya kurang memuaskan. Penerapan Model pembelajaran Explicit Instuction terhadap mata pelajaran ini dapat diterima dengan respon positif dari siswa yang selalu meningkat secara signifikan. Pembelajaran selangkah demi selangkah terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa ternyata dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI materi keserasian antara gerakan dan bacaan sholat siswa untuk terus aktif dalam belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari kebutuhan akan penguatan karakter siswa Gen-Z Muslim melalui manajemen kurikulum yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan manajemen kurikulum dalam mendukung penguatan karakter siswa di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang melalui tiga aspek utama: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan tiga fokus utama dalam manajemen kurikulum di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang. Pertama, perencanaan kurikulum melibatkan integrasi nilai-nilai karakter Islami yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan khusus Gen-Z Muslim. Kurikulum ini dirancang secara tematik, menggabungkan pelajaran agama dan pendidikan karakter dalam berbagai mata pelajaran. Kedua, pelaksanaan kurikulum meliputi kegiatan pembiasaan sehari-hari seperti salat berjamaah, membaca Al-Qur'an, serta program-program penguatan karakter seperti Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), yang juga mendukung pembentukan sikap mandiri dan berintegritas. Ketiga, evaluasi kurikulum dilakukan secara sistematis dengan metode penilaian kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, termasuk evaluasi perilaku sehari-hari siswa oleh guru dan orang tua. Kesimpulannya, implementasi manajemen kurikulum di SD Plus Al-Kautsar secara efektif mendukung penguatan karakter Gen-Z Muslim, yang tercermin dari konsistensi dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program pembelajaran

Abstract

This study examines leadership in Islam, emphasizing values of ethics, integrity, justice, and responsibility as the main foundation for achieving performance and success in educational institutions. The purpose of this research is to explore the application of Umar bin Khattab's servant leadership ethics in the management of educational institutions in Indonesia. The research method used is library research, where data are obtained from relevant primary and secondary literature, then analyzed using content analysis and descriptive techniques. The results of the study show that the principles of servant leadership, such as simplicity, justice, and public service, when applied in the educational context, can create an inclusive learning environment focused on the well-being of all involved parties. Implementation strategies, including listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, and foresight, have proven effective in building ethical and service-oriented leadership. Thus, the application of Umar bin Khattab's servant leadership ethics in educational institutions not only produces individuals who excel academically but also possess high integrity and deep social concern.

Abstract

The development of the internet has provided easier access to information, entertainment, and communication. However, its use among the public has remained unstructured, particularly in supporting educational activities and positive parenting in the digital era. Various cyber risks have emerged, potentially affecting family well-being, especially in densely populated urban areas. This study aimed to describe the role and interaction between parents, families, communities, and local policies in enhancing digital literacy and family cyber resilience. This research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach with 16 respondents. Data were collected through focus group discussions and analyzed using Parson’s System Theory. The data analysis process followed the stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The validity of the data was tested through source triangulation, comparing FGD findings with in-depth interviews conducted with digital policy experts. The research showed that parents were concerned about their children's internet usage. Efforts to promote digital literacy were continuously carried out through collaboration among families, communities, government, and other stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience in densely populated environments. The findings of this study could be utilized to support the development of effective empowerment and intervention programs to increase cyber resilience, enhance family welfare, and develop cyber resilience support systems in densely populated settlements.
