Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan Adjuvant Psychological Therapy (APT) dapat menurunkan tingkat depresi pada penderita kanker serviks. Desain penelitian yang digunakan single-case experimental designs dan rancangan dalam penelitian ini merupakan desain A-B-A’ yang mempunyai tiga fase, yaitu A (baseline), B (intervensi) dan fase A’ (follow-up). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen BDI II yang berisi skor tingkat depresi subjek dan Self Monitoring dengan Subjective Units of Discomfort Scale (SUDs) yang berisi tingkat ketidaknyamanan subjek yang diisi subjek setiap hari selama proses terapi. Selain itu peneliti juga menggunakan observasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rangkaian sesi terapi APT yang diberikan dapat menurunkan tingkat depresi pada penderita kanker serviks. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dengan Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI II) tingkat depresi subjek mengalami penurunan sebanyak tiga tingkat pada tahap pra terapi 37 (kategori depresi berat), tahap pasca terapi menjadi 17 (kategori depresi ringan) dan tahap follow-up menjadi 15 (gangguan mood ringan). Metode pengukuran dengan self monitoring (SUDs) secara bertahap mengalami penurunan sebanyak empat poin (dari delapan menjadi empat). Selain itu, APT dapat membantu pengobatan medis yang dijalani penderita kanker serviks menjadi lebih maksimal dan menurunkan intensitas nyeri kronis yang dialaminya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud mengetahui efektivitas terapi relaksasi kesadaran indera dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan terhadap penyakit kronis yang dialami oleh klien. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kasus tunggal. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain ABA. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang yang didiagnosis menderita penyakit diabetes mellitus dan mengalami kecemasan. Pemilihan subjek yang mengalami kecemasan dilihat dengan menggunakan Subjective Units of Discomfort Scale (SUDs) dan Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). Penelitian dilakukan mulai dari pra terapi, terapi, pasca terapi, dan follow-up selama tujuh sesi dan satu minggu untuk memantau kondisi subjek setelah terapi dihentikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa relaksasi kesadaran indera mampu menurunkan kecemasan yang dirasakan oleh pasien penderita penyakit diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Kecemasan pasien pasca stroke dapat diketahui dari ciri-ciri yang ditunjukkan, yaitu ciri kognitif, fisik, emosi, dan perilaku. Kecemasan pada dasarnya tidak dapat hilang sama sekali, tetapi kecemasan dapat direduksi dengan beberapa terapi. Salah satu yang dapat digunakan adalah terapi kognitif perilaku dengan teknik relaksasi via letting go, restrukturisasi kognitif, dan exposure with response prevention. Tujuan dari terapi ini adalah mereduksi tingkat kecemasan dengan ditandai oleh menurunnya tingkat kecemasan dan frekuensi munculnya pemikiran negatif, perubahan pemikiran negatif menjadi postif, rasional, dan sehat, dan perubahan perilaku yang lebih adaptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kasus tunggal. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain ABA. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang yang pernah sakit stroke dan mengalami kecemasan. Pemilihan subjek yang mengalami kecemasan dilihat dengan skala Subjective Units of Discomfort (SUDs), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), dan ciri-ciri kecemasan pada pasien pasca stroke. Penelitian dilakukan mulai dari pra terapi, terapi, pasca terapi, dan tindak lanjut selama tujuh sesi dan tiga minggu setelah terapi untuk memantau kondisi subjek. Pada subjek pertama teknik relaksasi Via letting go diberikan dalam dua sesi, restrukturisasi kognitif duasesi, dan exposure tiga sesi. Untuk subjek kedua relaksasi cia letting go sebanyak tiga sesi, restrukturisasi kognitif dua sesi, dan exposure dua sesi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SUDs, BAI, dan self monitoring. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terapi kognitif perilaku mampu mereduksi tingkat kecemasan pada pasien pasca stroke.

Abstract

Orientasi masa depan pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting dalam menentukan karir di masa depan. Apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik, maka dapat mengakibatkan kesulitan dalam mengambil keputusan tentang apa yang akan dipilih di masa depan. Gaya pengasuhan yang diterapkan orang tua dan self-esteem memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk orientasi masa depan pendidikan remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan orientasi masa depan pendidikan yang dimediasi oleh self-esteem. Subjek terdiri dari 172 remaja SMA berusia 14-20 tahun dan tinggal dengan kedua orang tua. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ), State Self-Esteem Scale, dan Skala Orientasi Masa Depan Pendidikan. Analisis mediasi dilakukan melalui Process Model 4 dari Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dengan orientasi masa depan siswa (r = 0.543).

Abstract

Career choices is a central role in an individual’s life, especially for vocational school students. For this reason,understanding the elements that influence career decisions becomes essential to ensure that individuals can formulateaccurate and aligned choices with their long-term aspirations. Future orientation is among the factors impacting careerchoices. Students who possess a strong sense of future orientation enhance their capacity to make informed careerdecisions. Conscientiousness is thought to have an important role in increasing the influence of future orientation on thecareer decisions of female vocational high school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the moderatingeffect of Conscientiousness on the effect of future orientation on career decisions. The research subjects were 194students who were in class XII at SMK in Ponorogo. Data were collected using the Career Decision Scale, FutureOrientation Scale, and the Big-five personality scale NEO-PI-R. The Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) method wasemployed for data analysis. The findings of the research indicate that Conscientiousness has the capability to amplifythe influence of future orientation on the career choices made by vocational school students in Ponorogo.

Abstract

Adolescents who experience the impact of divorce experience unstable emotional conditions, sadness, disappointment, and low emotional competence. Emotional competence is the condition of an individual who is able to recognize, express, understand, regulate and use the emotions they feel. There are many ways to improve the emotional competence of teenagers with divorced parents, one of which is using the psychodrama method. Psychodrama is a way of expressing what is felt about the pressure or stress that is being experienced or method often called catharsis. The research aims to determine the use of intervention in the form of psychodrama in an effort to increase emotional competence in adolescents with divorced parents. This research uses an experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used was the Profile of Emotional Competence (PEC). There were 10 research subjects determined using a purposive sampling method who were then divided into experimental and control groups according to low to medium PEC scores. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed that there was a significant difference in the experimental group (p= 0,043) and there was no significant difference in the control group (p= 0,069). Based on these results, it indicates that psychodrama has a significant influence in efforts to increase emotional competence in adolescents with divorced parents.

Abstract

The transition phase experienced by adolescents is certainly not always smooth and it is common to experience bullying. With the development of technology, bullying that was originally only in schools and neighborhoods has become in cyberspace or can be called cyberbullying. someone can become a victim of cyberbullying because they have low self-esteem. Emotional competence, which includes the ability to recognize, respond, and manage one's own and others' emotions, is a key factor in overcoming the negative impact of cyberbullying and improving adolescents' self-esteem. This study aims to examine the important role of emotional competence as a mediator between self-esteem and cyberbullying victimization in adolescents. In this study, a sample of 115 adolescents who had experienced cyberbullying was involved. A significant indirect effect (-0.1022) of emotional competence was found through data analysis using mediation tests. The findings of this study provide strong evidence that adolescents with high self-esteem and good emotional competence are likely to experience lower impact when victimized by cyberbullying. The results of this study provide a deeper understanding of the importance of developing emotional competence in protecting adolescents from the risks and negative impacts of cyberbullying. Emotional competence can be learned by attending some training such as emotion regulation training, emotion identification, and others that are related to emotional competence. Self-esteem training also can be an option for adolescents to learn and increase the skill of emotional competence.

Abstract

Socio-emotional competence is important in children's development, because it can help them in problem solving, increase in prosocial behavior, form good relationships, and adapt to growing and complex demands. Lack of socio-emotional competence in the early stages of development is associated with aggressive tendencies, bullying, low problem solving, social isolation, rejection of relationship with peer, lack of skill in taking responsibility, involvement with crime, and drug use. Therefore, in increasing the set of competencies that children need for the future, boy-boyan become an alternative learning media through experience. With feedback from the games, children will get new knowledge to be applied in everyday life. A total of 60 male and female subjects aged 9-12 years were divided into three research groups, namely the experimental group 1 who received the boy-boy game method with experiential learning, the experimental group 2 who played only boy-boyan, and the control group. Method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest subject design. Data analysis used Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney, and the scale used was the Socio Emotional Competence Questionaire which was measured at the pretest and posttest. The results showed that there were significant differences between the three groups (ρ 0.000), and there was an increase in three aspects of socio-emotional competence in children through boy-boyan with the experiential learning method compared to only playing boy-boyan. Keywords: Childern ; Socio-Emotional Competence ; Traditional Play

Abstract

Socio-emotional competence in adolescence is needed in socio-emotional development where individuals are able to manage emotions and interact with others and develop healthy relationships. Positive conformity behavior is used as a cognitive strategy to adjust to peer groups so that deviant behavior can be avoided. In order for positive conformity to develop properly, self-efficacy is needed as a mediator to increase socio-emotional competence. The purpose of this study was to examine self-efficacy as a mediator between positive conformity and socio-emotional competence. This research method uses a quantitative approach using population quotas. The subjects in this study were all 197 students of SMP YPUI Darul Ulum Banda Aceh City. The instruments used were the Delaware Social Emotional Competence Scale-Student (DSECS-S), the Peer Conformity Disposition Scale (PCDS), and the General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES). Data analysis was performed using the Process Macro Analysis Hayes mediation analysis technique. The results of the study show that there is a significant effect of positive conformity on socio-emotional competence. With the role of self-efficacy as a mediator, positive conformity can indirectly increase the socio-emotional competence of young students at Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

One of the goals of working is to get salary. But there are some individuals who work for specific goals. One of them is teacher in Islamic boarding schools which requires a lot of extra contribution because they are required to be active in Islamic boarding school activities. This research aims to reveal in depth and provide an overview of the work ethic and social concerns adhered by teachers in Islamic boarding schools by looking at how they perform on a daily basis. This research uses a qualitative method with phenomenological approach. This research was conducted by interviewing 4 subjects with predetermined criteria. Subject selection was carried out using accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews. The results of this research are work ethic shown by the teacher’s seriousness and responsibility in overcoming problems that occur, and maximizing their performance while teaching. Coupled with the cooperation built with fellow colleagues, sincerity in carrying out tasks, and independence in solving problems experienced at work. The work ethic of teachers in Islamic boarding schools is colored by social care values which improve their performance. The value of social concerns originates from behavior and norms as well as values adapted from Islamic values commonly adhered by Islamic boarding schools.
