Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties and disinterest of students in writing poetry texts. This is because students do not understand the techniques in writing poetry texts. In addition, students are still not trained in developing their creative thinking in writing poetry texts. To overcome this problem, the authors chose podcast learning media to improve students' ability to write poetry texts and students' creative thinking skills in class VIII SMPN 2 Margahayu. The problem in this study is related to the low ability of students in writing poetry texts and the ability to think creatively. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of podcast media and its impact on the ability to write poetry texts and increase creative thinking skills. The ability of class VIII students of SMPN 2 Margahayu in writing poetry texts is in good category. In addition, the ability to think creatively is also in another good category. Based on the results of statistical calculations, it can be obtained that podcast media has an impact on the ability to write poetry texts and the ability to think creatively. This is supported by statistical calculations. There are significant differences in writing poetry texts and students' creative thinking in the experimental class using podcast media and the control class using image media. This study uses a mix method with data collection techniques through tests, observations, and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that learning to write poetry texts has an impact on students' creative thinking abilities. In addition, it can be an alternative to choosing a learning model in class. It is evident from the results of the pretest writing poetry texts that the average experimental class student obtained 57.69, while the average posttest score for the experimental class obtained 81.92 which indicates an increase in value. Likewise, the average score of students' creative thinking pretest is 63.5, while the posttest average score is 77.66, also showing an increase Keywords: Creative thinking, Podcast, Write, Poetry.

Abstract

This research was conducted to overcome problems among students who still have difficulties in writing skills, especially in learning to write anecdotal texts. The causal factor is that educators are less varied in choosing learning methods and media. The aim of this research is to test the ability of writers and students in learning to write anecdotal texts using the Double Loop Problem Solving Method with the help of the Animaker Application media. The research method used was a Quasi Experimental method with a Nonequivalent control group design type. Data collection techniques include literature review, trials, observation, tests and documentation. Based on the research results, it shows that students are able to write anecdotal texts well based on content, structure and linguistic rules. This is supported by the average pre-test score in the experimental class of 56.4 and the average post-test score of 80.2, so there is an increase of 23.8. Referring to the results of statistical calculations using Mann Whitney, it shows that there is a significant difference in the ability of students in writing anecdotal texts in the experimental class which uses the Double Loop Problem Solving method assisted by media Animaker application with the ability of students in the control class which uses the method discution. This is supported by the Asymp Sig results. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05. Based on these data, it can be concluded that learning anecdotal texts using the Double Loop Problem Solving method assisted by the Animaker application is effective in improving students' ability to write anecdotal texts.

Abstract

This study explores the philosophical underpinnings and thematic elements that reflect the author's perspective on life, society, and personal values. Using an expressive approach, this study highlights how the author's emotions and experiences shape the narrative and character development in the story. The findings show that the author's outlook on life is strongly influenced by the cultural and social context, which are closely interwoven. in structure narrative. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (a) untuk mengkaji penerapan model Problem Based Learning dalam menulis teks prosedur pada kelas eksperimen dan model ekspositori pada kelas kontrol; (b) untuk menguji kemampuan  peserta didik dalam  menulis teks prosedur antara yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning di kelas eksperimen dan model ekspositori di kelas kontrol; (c) untuk menguji perbedaan kemampuan  peserta didik  berkolaborasi dalam pembelajaran  menulis teks prosedur antara yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan model ekspositori; (d) untuk menguji perbedaan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dalam menulis teks prosedur antara yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dibandingkan dengan kemampuan peserta didik yang menggunakan model ekspositori;(e) untuk menguji  perbedaan kemampuan  peserta didik dalam  menulis teks prosedur antara yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan model ekspositori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran, menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam pengolahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menulis teks prosedur berdampak pada kemampuan berkolaborasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 61, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest adalah 88, menunjukkan peningkatan nilai. Nilai kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran  model Problem Based Learning dalam penelitian ini adalah 88 %, termasuk dalam kategori nilai Sangat Baik. Nilai rata-rata pretest berpikir kreatif adalah 45, dan nilai rata-rata posttestadalah 79, juga menunjukkan peningkatan.

Abstract

A novel is a depiction of daily life that is found in a specific sastra. The novel originated in Italian, was known as a novella in Jerman, and was then translated into English before traveling to Indonesia. Novels are also described as prose-based short stories. “Temukan Aku dalam Istikharahmu” a novel by Adi Rustandi, is the only sacred work published in 2014 by Jakarta, Zettu Cetakan. This book draws inspiration from Tokoh Rengganis, which is explained throughout the novel. The authors not only expresses his feelings, but also offers ideas and solutions to the current problem. The authors in the story of his life expresses his private spiritual guidance through a tokoh of a devout old man who depicts his spiritual life and connects him to his spiritual community with his god. This study is being conducted to understand the life at the bottom of the pyramid.

Abstract

The curriculum changes along with the demands of the times and learning needs. Today's learning demands are very complex. Educators must be able to design learning creatively and innovatively. In 21st century learning, educators are required to be able to develop critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, creativity skills and communication skills. These four abilities must be formed through classroom learning. Education must be able to produce students who have strong national character, are independent and have high competitiveness. Therefore, in the curriculum of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FKIP Pasundan University, the Curriculum Study, Planning and Implementation of Learning courses are the main courses aimed at preparing students' competence in planning and implementing learning. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques based on the value of preparing learning tools based on the Independent Curriculum, the value of observing the learning practice process carried out using peer teaching techniques involving other lecturers as observers. The data collection technique used the entire student population who contracted the Curriculum Study, Planning and Learning Implementation course, 65 people. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FKIP Pasundan University are able to design learning in accordance with the characteristics of the Independent Curriculum. Apart from that, students are also able to practice the learning process in accordance with the characteristics of the Independent Curriculum. In this way, students are equipped with competencies that suit the needs of the field to prepare educators who can be competitive in the world of education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students in analyzing negotiating texts that focus on content, structure, and language feature. This is due to the lack of variation of educators in choosing teaching methods and media. Selection of varied teaching methods and media can increase motivation and interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness and abilities of students in applying Kahoot-assisted game-based learning in learning to analyze negotiating texts and examine differences in ability between the experimental class and the control class which applied the discussion method. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental. The form of the research design is the pretest-posttest control group design. The data obtained are the pretest and posttest results from the experimental and control classes. The results of this study prove; 1) Kahoot-assisted game-based learning is effectively used in learning to analyze the content, structure, and language feature of negotiating text, as evidenced by the results of the Mann-Whitney test showing asymp. sig. 0.000; 2) students are able to analyze negotiating text, as evidenced by an increase in the average pretest score 75 to posttest 91.25; 3) and there are differences in the ability of students in the experimental class and the control class, it can be proven by the results of the Wilcoxon test showing asymp. sig. in both classes is 0.000. Thus, kahoot-assisted game-based learning can be used as a choice of teaching methods and media.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami materi teks hikayat menjadikan latar belakang adanya penelitian ini. Penggunaan metode dan media yang kurang inovatif dan kreatif menjadikan pembelajaran terkesan membosankan dan peserta didik kurang tertarik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, penulis ingin melaksanakan penelitian menggunakan metode Listening in Action berbantuan media video animasi Doratoon. Dengan tujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan mengidentifikasi teks hikayat antara peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan peserta didik kelas. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen, dengan menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan melihat hasil sig. uji Independent sample t test. Hasil sig. dari uji tersebut adalah 0,013 < 0,050 yang artinya terdapat hasil yang signifikan. Perbedaan tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari rata-rata nilai yang didapatkan oleh peserta didik. Rata-rata prates kelas eksperimen dari 51,03 menjadi 81,68 pada hasil pascates kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata kelas kontrol dari 47,65 menjadi 74,71 pada hasil pascates. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata pascates di kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,68 sedangkan di kelas kontrol sebesar 74,71. Dengan demikian pembelajaran yang dilakukan dapat dikatakan berhasil dengan baik.
