Abstract

Interactive learning media is a combination of videos, animations, images, and audio on learning media that allows users to interact and understand the material because the learning process becomes interesting, interactive, and effective. The trend of publications that have the highest number of citations, the classification of university or organization rankings, journals and publications, and the use of keywords along with using a database from Google Scholar. The method used is bibliometric analysis. A total of 442 articles were collected from the Publish or Perish (PoP) application using the Google Scholar database which was then combined into 1 file with RIS format and entered into the VOSviewer application to obtain network visualization and visualization overlays. The results show that the trend of publications related to interactive learning media in mathematics education in Indonesia in the last five years (2016 - 2022) has increased every year, the most citations are in the organization "State University of Yogyakarta", in the journal JIPMat, in the article (Istiqlal, 2017). Adobe flash became the most cited learning media keyword. The keywords that became the new theme were Articulate storyline, ispring, discovery learning, interactive games, plane figure, and quadratic functions.

Abstract

Through Augmented Reality-based learning, this study aims to improve mathematical critical thinking skills. Learning with Augmented Reality-based media in Unity 3D can be used both online and offline. This research is quantitative (quasi-experimental), with 30 students from SMPN 34 Pekanbaru class VII participating in the academic year 2022/2023. The research was conducted on triangle and quadrilateral material. The following methods were used to collect data: (1) a mathematical critical thinking ability test; (2) interviews; and (3) documentation. The test result data was statistically processed, whereas the interview and documentation data were processed descriptively. The findings revealed that students who learned using Augmented Reality media with Unity 3D improved their mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking can be formed in several ways, one of which is through the process of learning mathematics. This study aims to determine trends and research focus related to critical thinking in mathematics learning. A total of 327 data were obtained from database dimensions. VOSviewer software is used to display visualizations based on bibliographic pairs and events with keywords by the author. Researchers use qualitative research methods. The analysis technique used is descriptive bibliometric analysis and bibliometric visualization method. The results of the study show that the countries of Indonesia and the United States, the Indonesian University of Education and Padang State University, the "journal of physics conference series" and documents (Mutakinati et al., 2018) have been the most influential on critical thinking in learning mathematics in the last five years . The research focus is divided into four of them, namely: 1) STEM approach; 2) Learning with Problem-based learning; 3) Critical thinking in higher education; 4) learning outcomes and creative thinking. STEM is not directly related to geometry material, and problem-based learning is also not directly connected to independent learning.

Abstract

Problem-based learning is a learning model that uses real-life problems that require authentic investigations to construct knowledge actively and collaboratively. The aim of this study was to capture the research landscape related to problem-based learning applied to students at the middle school level from 1998 to 2023. A descriptive bibliometric analysis method was used in this study. The data obtained was taken from the Scopus database. The results of the study show that publications related to problem-based learning, especially in middle schools, go up and down every year. Publications in 2003 have been cited more than any other year. The United States of America is the most influential country in this field. publications in journals related to problem-based learning research applied to middle school students are mostly at the Q1 rank, namely 45 journals. The research focus is divided into 3 namely, 1) knowledge, skills and development; 2) effect, self-efficacy, achievement and effectiveness; 3) middle school students, environment and abilities. These three research focuses can be used as a reference for future researchers to determine the focus of their research related to problem-based learning

Abstract

Interactive multimedia is a learning model to generate thoughts, motivation, convey messages, and students' interests so as to encourage the teaching and learning process and the media is used to generate students' learning experiences to become more real. The purpose of the researchers conducting the research was to describe the interest in learning in students towards the use of Augmented media reality as learning media on triangle and quadrilateral material for class VII MTs. The researcher used a descriptive quantitative research method with 20 class VII MTs students as a random sample. This study used a non-test instrument in the form of a student learning interest questionnaire. Quantitative descriptive data analysis was used as a data analysis technique in this study. As for the results of student responses to the use of software Adobe Flash Cs6 Professional as a learning medium obtained a percentage with an average of 79.25% which is relatively high, this shows that students' responses to the use of Augmented media Reality as a positive learning media so that it can be used later for the learning process that can attract students' interest in learning
