Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of trends in Islamic fintech studies published in journals under the SINTA category. This paper uses the bibliometric method with Harzing's Publish or Perish analysis tools to collect 121 article metadata on Google Scholar and R Studio and VOSviewer to analyze bibliographic data obtained automatically. The results show that the number of publications on Islamic fintech has increased significantly. The results of the bibliometric analysis found that the authors tend to use the term "sharia fintech" rather than "Islamic fintech." Several research themes that may develop in the future are those related to mobile banking, financial performance, and Internet banking. This study contributes to future research and provides scientific novelty in the assessment of Islamic fintech publications in Indonesia, which are practically and theoretically very important for academics.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the digital skills of students and administrators at Pondok Pesantren Anwarul Quran in creating and managing websites using Google Sites. In today’s digital era, educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), require an online platform to disseminate information and manage administration more effectively. A well-designed website enables pesantren to promote its educational programs, document activities, and improve communication with a broader audience. The methods used in this program include direct training, practical mentoring, and continuous evaluation. Participants were introduced to the basics of website development using Google Sites, hands-on website creation, and strategies for independently managing and updating content. The results of this program show that students and administrators have acquired fundamental skills in website development and management. Consequently, pesantren can enhance its online presence and strengthen its visibility in the digital world. The success of this initiative demonstrates that similar programs can be implemented in other pesantren to support digital transformation in faith-based education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the development of research on the influence of halal logos on purchasing decisions for halal products in Indonesia. The method used is meta analysis by reviewing 33 studies published in 2013-2023 with the help of the OpenMEE application. The results of this research show that there is a positive influence of the logo on decisions with a p-value obtained <0.001 and an estimated value of 0.415, which indicates that the strength of the relationship is in the medium category. The influence of the halal cosmetics industry is greater than that of the halal food industry. In terms of sample type, the student sample effect is greater than the general public sample effect. Meanwhile, in the location group, the effect of the provincial capital is greater than the effect of location in the district. Theoretically, this study strengthens the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) by confirming the role of halal logos as external cues that influence consumer attitudes and intentions. It also highlights the halal logo as a trust signal that shapes purchasing behavior across different contexts. Study limitations include limited sample size and lack of adequate moderators to explain within-subgroup variation. Therefore, future research needs to consider testing other important aspects, such as participant groups, countries/regions, and other variables.

Abstract

Studies on the impact of disasters on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the halal food sector are often ignored by researchers and academics, even though these studies are needed to mitigate the risks from natural disasters. This study explores the impact of disasters on MSMEs, especially those engaged in the halal food sector. The research methodology used was phenomenology, with the data source being MSME actors in the halal food sector who were affected by the disaster in Palu City. The results of this study provide a conceptual framework for disaster impacts, which include direct and indirect impacts on physical assets, human resources, raw materials, production, sales, and capital. The relationship between the impact of the disaster and economic actors in the halal food sector breaks the supply chain in impacted and non-impacted areas. Therefore, the aim of this research is to provide information for business actors in Palu city to redesign a safer and more controlled business concept in the event of a natural disaster in the future.

Abstract

Islam views that clothing, food and shelter are ḍarūriyyat matters in order to safeguard the human soul. This study aims to analyze the various opinions of contemporary scholars about the utilization of zakat for housing for the poor. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study pattern. The results of this study indicate that the jurists agree that zakat may be distributed for the needs of the poor because it includes their basic needs, but in terms of the mechanism they have different opinions and are divided into two opinions. First, zakat may be utilized to rent houses for the poor, but may not build or buy houses for them. Second, zakat may be used to build, buy or rent houses for the poor. The reason for the first group not allowing zakat funds to build houses for the poor is because the construction of houses requires large funds, and can result in other poor people not receiving zakat funds and may not give zakat funds for more than one year's needs for the poor. As for those who allow zakat funds to be used to build houses or buy houses for the poor, they reason that there is no argument forbidding or ordering it and may provide zakat funds continuously to the poor.

Abstract

Abstract

The urgency in utilizing fintech and social media in business to realize the Halal Value Chain (HVC) is paramount because it can provide added economic value for halal business actors, including Islamic boarding schools in the era of Society 5.0. This study aims to analyze the optimization of financial technology and social media integration in halal businesses managed by Islamic boarding schools to achieve the SDGs in the 5.0 era. This study uses phenomenology with data sources from Islamic boarding schools in Central Sulawesi. This research reveals that the integration relationship between fintech and social media highly depends on optimizing both. Factors driving the use of fintech and social media in Islamic boarding schools business consist of internal factors in the form of pesantren awareness of the importance of sustainable business activities and the vision of independence that exists in Islamic boarding schools. Furthermore, internal driving factors include the Covid-19 pandemic, market growth, digital market behavior, market growth, digital access, and customer behavior. Optimizing the use of social media in market mapping to see market demand trends has implications for Islamic boarding school business strategies in developing products.
