Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan ini adalah meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui implementasi Pendekatan Kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XII IPS SMA Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal semester ganjil berjumlah 12 Orang siswa. Metode yang dilakukan dengan ekperimental dan kontributif yang dilakukan dengan terjun langsung ke ranah pendidikan dan mengambil satu materi yang kemudian disampaikan kepada peserta didik untuk melihat reaksi dari variabel lain yang kemudian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini yakni peserta didik dapat memahami mata pembelajaran dengan baik  dan lahirnya suasana diskusi dan minat belajar lebih baik dari sebelumnya.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Pendekatan Kontekstual, dan minat belajar

Abstract

Today Language seems to be the prima donna in the eyes of the public, many millennials are interested in learning Foreign Languages. The purpose of them wanting to master the language would be to continue their studies in the country they are aiming for to realize their ideals. Mayantara School is a Foreign Language learning institution that is now a public spotlight in the city of Malang. This institution offers many language programs with a well-organized system and management. This study discusses: 1) Organizing management at Mayantara School course institutions, 2) Division of Tasks in Management Organizing Language Course Institutions at Mayantara School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by interview techniques and observation and documentation. Data collection is done by reducing data, presenting conclusions / verification data. Research shows that: 1) Mayantara School has a good organizational management system because it has a clear organizational structure. 2) Managers provide division of tasks orally and in writing to each member and create a chart of organizational structure for members so as to make the position between subordinates and superiors visible. Section leaders who have been given certain rights can know the number of clear members to help carry out their duties, so that the organizing system is neatly organized. Abstract

Learning media is one of the important components n the implementation of the learning at school. By usingmedia, the learning process at school will run effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is todescribe the design of kinetic sand media to facilitate the ability to write early childhood.. This study uses theReeves Model Design Basic Research (DBR) method, because at this stage of the model, which is identifyingproblems, developing products, testing product feasibility and reflection to overcome problems in thelearning process. Retrieval of data in this study only by interviews and expert validation, because of theimpact of the Corona Virus Disease pandemic (COVID-19), this researcher cannot conduct trials on the fieldor school products. Preliminary studies and interviews were conducted with RA teacher Miftahul Jannah.Validation test conducted in this study involved three experts, namely experts in the media of learning,experts in the theory and experts in the field of pedagogy. The product design was declared feasible by theexpert validator, then revised according to the comments and suggestions of the expert validator. Kineticsand media to facilitate the ability to write early childhood is declared appropriate for use in the learningprocess.Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaraan disekolah.Dengan menggunakan media, proses pembelajaran disekolah akan berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan desain media pasir kinetik untuk memfasilitasikemampuan menulis permulaan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Basic Research(DBR) model Reeves, karena pada tahap model ini, yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, mengembangkanproduk, menguji kelayakan produk dan refleksi untuk mengatasi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran.Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini hanya dengan wawancara dan validasi ahli, karena adanya dampakpandemi Corona Virus Disease (COVID- 19) ini peneliti tidak dapat melakukan uji coba produk kelapanganatau kesekolah. Studi pendahuluan dan wawancara dilakukan dengan guru RA Miftahul Jannah. Uji validasiyang dilakukan pada penelitian ini melibatkan tiga ahli, yaitu ahli bidang dalam media pembelajaran, ahlibidang teori dan ahli dalam bidang pedagogik. Rancangan produk dinyatakan layak oleh validator ahli,kemudian dilakukan revisi sesuai dengan komentar dan saran dari validator ahli. Media pasir kinetik untukmemfasilitasi kemampuan menulis permulaan anak usia dini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam prosespembelajaran.

Abstract

This research was carried out to investigate the strategies used by the English teachers in teaching vocabulary at Darul Huffadh Islamic Boarding School and to figure out the teachers` perception in applying the strategy in teaching vocabulary. This research was conducted using qualitative method to answer the research questions. The instruments of this research are interviews and observational checklist. The subject of this research was teachers who teach in classes 8a, 8b, 8c, and 8d. The result shows that the teachers used different strategies in teaching vocabulary, namely picture, action and movement, contrast, explanation and translation. In addition, based on the teachers` perception, those strategies were relevant to teach vocabulary to the students because the teachers can mix up more than two strategies in one meeting. Therefore, the teachers taught English using various activities and strategies to make students enjoy learning English. This research is expected to provide the teachers and prospective teachers as well as readers about strategies that are suitable to use in teaching vocabulary. The findings of this research provide some options of teaching strategies that can be considered to be used in other educational institutions

Abstract

Islamic history education is a mandatory subject designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Islam. As such, it necessitates a learning model that incorporates innovative, creative, and adaptive teaching styles and approaches to achieve the intended outcomes. This research aims to analyze the impact of contextual teaching and learning on Islamic history education in secondary schools. The study adopts an explanatory mixed-methods design, with the first stage employing a quantitative survey approach and the second stage utilizing a qualitative case study. Quantitative data were collected through a survey consisting of sixty items and analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data were obtained from six informants, including teachers and students, and analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that the contextual teaching and learning model is highly effective in delivering Islamic cultural history materials through five key steps: i) constructivist material, ii) learning community, iii) modeling, iv) reflection, and v) authentic assessment. These steps serve as a valuable reference for Islamic cultural history teachers in facilitating subject delivery in the classroom.

Abstract

Guru bimbingan konseling umumnya menjadi pusat pengendalian kecerdasan emosional sekaligus menangani konflik perilaku siswa. Namun, di SMA Negeri 3 Jombang, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) juga berperan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa melalui pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa melalui pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Jombang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara induktif melalui tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru PAI dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa tercermin pada: (a) sikap-sikap terpuji di dalam kelas, seperti kemampuan memecahkan masalah, kepedulian dan empati terhadap sesama, serta saling mengingatkan kewajiban belajar; dan (b) sikap-sikap terpuji di luar kelas, seperti tidak mudah tersinggung ketika mendapat perlakuan negatif (bullying) dan mampu mengendalikan diri untuk tidak berkata kasar.
