Abstract

Pangeran Antasari road is an urban road with 2-ways 4-lanes type (using median). In this median was found U-turn facility near of Ganesha Operation. Based on preliminary observations at the study location (Pangeran Antasari Road), it was seen there vehicles that could’t make a smooth U-Turn movement and other vehicles that were obstructed when passing through this facility, especially during peak hours when traffic volume was high. The objevtives of this study is to know the effect of U-Turn on delays in Pangeran Antasari road, which is near of Ganesha Operation. The method used is Gap Acceptance. It was to determine the value of vehicle travel time that is affected by U-Turn movement vehicles, namely the gap time and follow-up time.Based on the data analysis carried out at the U-Turn near of Ganesha Operation, it can be concluded that the effect of delay is due to the average time of gap accepted and follow-up time. The average time value of gap accepted was 3.64 seconds and 4.35 seconds in the morning and 9.59 seconds and 8.78 seconds in the afternoon. The average follow-up time of the vehicle is 12.72 seconds to 18.2 seconds in the morning and 14.01 seconds to 17.87 seconds in the afternoon.

Abstract

Pangeran Antasari St. is a road with a high level of congestion, especially during peak hours. This of course causes cumulation of vehicles which will making queues of vehicles. The congestion and density have caused a lot of shockwaves phenomena in the traffic around Pangeran Antasari St. This study examines the shockwaves in the trip delay which are influenced by the U-turn. The data was collected at Pangeran Antasari St. on October 5, 2020 during 06.00-09.00 am and 15.00-18.00 pm. The types of vehicles observed were Motorcycle (MC), Light Vehicle (LV), and Heavy Vehicle (HV).The shockwaves value obtained using the Greenshield Method of Pangeran Antasari St. at the morning section obtained the shockwaves value with the value of the reverse shockwaves (ωab) = -2284.98 km/h, the reverse shockwaves recovery (ωcb) = -16.2602 km/h, shockwaves forward recovery (ωac) = 55.707 km/h. At the afternoon, the shockwaves value is obtained with the value (ωab) = 3,3706 km/h; reverse shock wave recovery (ωcb) = -10.0224 km/h; forward shock wave recovery (ωac) 5.6654 km/h. Abstract

The behavior of drivers who do not consider the movements of other drivers can cause traffic problems, such as congestion and traffic accidents that can occur on the road. The stagger intersection at Jalan Raden Ajeng Kartini is often crowded with vehicles that can cause congestion. This is due to the behavior of drivers crossing from Cut Nyak Dien road to Lindu road, causing a conflict of delays influenced by weaving movements. The purpose of this research is to analyze the amount of delay due to weaving motion on the Raden Ajeng Kartini road. This study uses an analysis of the gap acceptance approach, to get the big results of vehicle delays caused by weaving motion, the average gap time and critical gap.The results of this study show that the vehicle delay caused by weaving motion is 3.20 seconds and 8.93 seconds in the morning and evening. The average gap time was 82.50 seconds in the morning and 94.36 seconds in the afternoon, while the critical gap was 4.34 seconds in the morning and 3.88 seconds in the afternoon. Keywords: Gap Acceptance, Weaving, Delay.

Abstract

The flexural strength of rigid pavement is the dominant parameter that influences the concrete pavement performance. In general, concrete is weak against its flexural tensile strength. One alternative that can be used to increase its flexural tensile strength is by adding artificial fibers and/or natural fibers to the concrete mixture. The purpose of this research is to find the effect of adding gelam bark fibers towards compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength of concrete using PCC cement. In this study, the concrete mixture was added with various percentages of fiber content i.e. 0,2%; 0,3%; 0,4%; 0,6%. The concrete was tested and compared its value of compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength. The results of this study showed that the most influential use of fiber for concrete pavement was 0,4%. The addition of gelam bark fiber by 0,4% could increase the tensile strength of the concrete mixture aged 28 days and 56 days respectively by 6,95% and 23.72% toward the concrete without fibers. The testing of concrete at 28 days age results the split tensile strength value decreased by 4,2% and the compressive strength test decreased by 4,7%.Keywords: Gelam bark fiber, PCC cement, OPC cement, flexural tensile strength, split tensile strength and compressive strength

Abstract

Traffic accidents are serious problem in Bandar Lampung City, especially the Soekarno-Hatta Bandar Lampung By Pass Road, considering that this road is the primary arterial road that should not be disturbed by shuttle traffic, local traffic, and local activities. Roadside activities are one of the disruptions that can cause accidents and need to be analyzed. Blackspot are determined by the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) method based on accident fatality rate each segment of the road. Roadside activities are grouped into pedestrians and crossers (PED), park and stop vehicles on the side of the road (PSV), slow moving vehicles (SMV), also enter and exit vehicles of activity centers (EEV). Analysis with linear regression is used to calculate the level of impact of roadside activities with accident rates. From 25 segments along Soekarno-Hatta Road, 16 segments are classified as blackspot and 6 segments are still classified as blackspot until 2017. EEV is the highest number that affects the decrease in the number of accidents, PSV for the 2nd number, SV for the 3rd number and PED for the smallest number. Besides the average vehicle speed is only 42,8 km/h due to the high volume of vehicles with an average of 2708 skr/h also the damaged of some segments and poor support facilities of the road.

Abstract

Transportation is defined as the activity of moving passengers and goods from one place to another, in which there is an element of movement. Transportation plays an important role in the development and development of infrastructure in urban areas. This is the main reason for choosing those that are considered efficient in terms of fuel in meeting the transportation needs of the vehicles used. According to the author's observations, people tend to prefer to buy subsidized fuel because of the higher prices. cheap, so willing to wait in long lines and cause the road to be consumed by queues that disturb other road users. Fuel oil itself is divided into 2 groups, namely subsidized and non-subsidized. The problem of adjusting subsidized fuel prices has also developed a discourse regarding who is entitled to subsidized fuel based on Presidential Regulation Number 43 of 2014 as amended by Presidential Regulation Number 43 of 2018 concerning the supply, distribution, and retail selling price of BBM. Data collection was carried out directly in the field by giving questionnaires and asking directly to Bandar Lampung City Government Employees. After that, perform an analytical test by evaluating the tariff according to the ability to buy Ability To Pay (ATP) and the willingness of consumers to buy Willingness To Pay (WTP) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. From this, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title: "SUBSIDIED AND NON-SUBSIDIED OIL FUEL PREFERENCES IN BANDAR LAMPUNG GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES".This research begins by collecting literature studies and data, including primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with several respondents using the selected random sampling method. Secondary data sourced from BPS, PT. Pertamina, Bandar Lampung City Government and the results of other studies related to this topic. The data will be used for the next process, namely the analysis of calculations, and the last stage, namely the results and drawing conclusions.Based on the results of the study using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, it can be concluded that risk is the most influential criterion in selecting the type of fuel oil. Keywords: preferences, subsided and nonsubsided oil fuel

Abstract

AbstractBandar Lampung City is the third largest and most populous city on Sumatra Island with a population of 1,033,803 people (BPS, 2018). Due to the large population, traffic jams often occur, one of which is on Jalan Pangeran Antasari. The road is a City Street class which has a length of 5.6 km and a width of 15 m.Methods Data collection is carried out during peak hours, namely in the morning at 07.30 - 09.00 WIB and during busy afternoons at 16.15 - 17.45 WIB on weekdays, namely Tuesday and Friday. The method used is a moving car observer. The data collected is data on density, speed and fuel demand. The calculation results are obtained from type I vehicles, namely vehicles with a capacity of 1469 cc for liters of gasoline which are widely used during trips in the afternoon, namely 0.46 liters of gasoline with the largest average density of 67.28 pcu/km. From type II vehicles, which are vehicles with a capacity of 2000 cc for liters of gasoline which are widely used for travel, namely 0.7 liters with a density of 90.99 pcu/km in the afternoon hours. Of the two types of vehicles in this study, the consumption of liters of gasoline is greater, that is, it occurs in type II vehicles with a capacity of 2000 cc compared to type I vehicles with a capacity of 1496 cc. The greater the density value, the more gasoline is used. Keywords: BBM, Congestion, Jalan Pangeran Antasari.
