Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the challenges faced by classroom teachers in developing and implementing teaching modules. The method employed in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis utilized three main stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings, the challenges teachers face in developing teaching modules include a lack of understanding in interpreting Learning Outcomes (CP), inability to formulate Learning Objectives (TP) based on existing CP, and difficulties in constructing the Learning Objective Flow (ATP) from TP. In the implementation stage, teachers often encounter obstacles in determining the selection of media, learning models, and assessments that are appropriate, thus failing to align with the diverse individual characteristics of students according to their developmental stages.characteristics of different students according to their developmental phases

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inculcation of character towards the national spirit in civics learning activities at MIN 11 Medan City, especially for fifth grade students. The research method used in this research activity is in the process of taking samples using descriptive qualitative research methods. Through observations made on fifth grade students using qualitative research methods, the results obtained also explain data through words or verbally that have been obtained during observation activities. The results show that there is progress in fifth grade students of MIN 11 in Medan City by inculcating national character through civics learning. Children who initially did not know how to sing the national anthem after being implemented the cultivation of the national character became able to know and be able to sing the national anthem, as well as other things related to national character. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penanaman karakter terhadap semangat kebangsaan dalam kegiatan belajar PKn pada MIN 11 Kota Medan khususnya pada peserta didik kelas V. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian ini dalam proses pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Melalui pengamatan yang dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas V dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif maka hasil yang diperoleh juga menjelaskan data melalui kata atau lisan yang telah diperoleh selama kegiatan observasi. Dalam observasi yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat kemajuan pada peserta didik kelas V MIN 11 Kota Medan dengan dilakukannya penanaman karakter kebangsaan melalui pembelajaran PKn. Anak yang awalnya tidak tahu menyanyikan lagu nasional setelah diterapkan penanaman karakter kebangsaan menjadi tahu dan bisa menyanyikan lagu nasional, begitupula pada hal-hal lain yang berkaitan dengan karakter kebangsaan.
