Abstract

Karagenan merupakan polisakarida yang terkandung di dalam rumput laut dari spesies Rhodophyta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaplikasian karagenan dari hasil ekstraksi basa KOH pH 9 pada sediaan tablet sebagai zat disintegran dengan model zat aktif parasetamol. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan tablet parasetamol adalah granulasi basah. Konsentrasi karagenan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 5%, 10% dan 15% sehingga formula yang dibuat berjumlah 3 formula. Tablet yang dihasilkan dari tiap formula dievaluasi meliputi keseragaman ukuran, keseragaman bobot, kekerasan tablet, friabilitas, friksibilitas, kapasitas swelling dan pengujian waktu hancur. Berdasarkan data yang didapat untuk pengujian keseragaman ukuran, keseragaman bobot dan kekerasan tablet memenuhi persyaratan yang ditentukan. Pengujian kapasitas swelling dari waktu ke waktu mengalami penurunan bobot tablet. Pada pengujian waktu hancur tablet yang hancur pada rentang waktu 4-28 menit. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diketahui dari hasil penelitian pada F1, F2, dan F3 diketahui bahwa F3 memenuhi persyaratan waktu hancur tablet oral. Konsentrasi karagenan yang menghasilkan waktu hancur yang paling cepat dari hasil ekstrak KOH pH 9 dengan konsentrasi 15%.

Abstract

Medicinal plants are widely used to treat various diseases, and one of the reasons for this is the safety of medicinal plants. The active compounds in medicinal plants include phenolics and flavonoids, which are known to have antioxidant activity. Antioxidants play an essential role in the body's defense against various diseases because they prevent the negative effects of free radicals. Jungrahab (Baeckea frutescens L.) is a medicinal plant containing phenolics and flavonoids. This study aimed to determine the antioxidant activity of jungrahab leaf extracts using the 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The results showed the antioxidant activity of the extract, water fraction, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane of jungrahab leaves with IC50 values of 12.62, 61.74, 60.66, and 63.99 ppm, respectively. Meanwhile, jungrahab extract has a total phenolic content of 52.40 mg GAE (Gallic Acid Equivalent)/g and a flavonoid content of 56.72 mg QE (Quercetin Equivalent)/g. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of communication quality and collaboration implementation on partner satisfaction in Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi cooperation at Sekolah Tinggi Farmasi Indonesia (STFI). The study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. The population consisted of 54 domestic institutional partners actively involved in Tridharma collaboration activities in 2024, and all partners were included using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistics, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that all research variables are categorized as very good, with mean scores above 4.50. Validity testing showed that all questionnaire items were valid, while reliability testing produced Cronbach’s Alpha values above 0.90, indicating excellent internal consistency. The regression analysis revealed that collaboration implementation significantly influences partner satisfaction (β = 0.543; p < 0.05), whereas communication quality has a positive but statistically insignificant effect (β = 0.220; p > 0.05). Simultaneously, communication quality and collaboration implementation significantly affect partner satisfaction. These findings demonstrate that the success of higher education partnerships is primarily determined by the quality of collaboration implementation, including professionalism, perceived benefits, and consistency with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The study highlights the importance of implementation-based evaluation in strengthening sustainable institutional partnerships and improving the quality of Tridharma collaboration management in higher education institutions.
