Abstract

This study discusses the development of video podcast-based e-LKPD on class X protist material at SMA Negeri 2 Gowa with the aim of finding out the steps to develop, validity, and practicality of video podcast-based e-LKPD. The instruments used are validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests that have been validated. The analysis technique uses data analysis for validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The result of the validity level of e-LKPD is 3.87 with a very valid category. The level of practicality of e-LKPD is 3.36 with the category of very practical. This study obtained results with scores above the KKM standard (100%) in the effective category. The implication of this research is that for educators, it can develop a variety of learning teaching materials to achieve learning goals and support the sustainability of the learning process in the classroom. For researchers, it is better to be able to develop a video-based e-LKPD that is more interesting both in terms of appearance and content of the e-LKPD. For future researchers, it is recommended that the images displayed in the e-LKPD based on the podcast video can be further created and implemented on a large scale.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of experimental science methods among students at TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method (pre-experimental), specifically a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study consists of 18 individuals from TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency, which includes 11 females and 7 males. The instrument used in this study is an observation guide for science skills. The data analysis technique employs inferential statistics, which includes normality tests and non-parametric statistical tests. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the application of the science experiment method has an impact on improving the science skills of children at TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency. The average score for the pre-test is 7.7 and the average score for the post-test is 22.7. It can be seen from the results of the Wilcoxon sing rank test that there is a significant difference with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The implications of the research indicate that the application of the science experiment method affects the science skills of children

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran fisika berbasis TikTok dan PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Takalar. Latar belakangnya adalah rendahnya hasil belajar fisika akibat metode konvensional dan tingginya penggunaan TikTok oleh siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen kuasi ("The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design"), penelitian melibatkan populasi 62 siswa kelas XI MIPA dan sampel 25 pasang siswa yang dicocokkan dari kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 2. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar fisika pilihan ganda. Analisis data meliputi deskriptif (N-Gain) dan inferensial (uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan Independent Samples T-test). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media PowerPoint "tidak efektif" (N-Gain rata-rata 18.34%), sedangkan media TikTok "kurang efektif" (N-Gain rata-rata 48.08%). Meskipun demikian, terdapat perbedaan efektivitas yang signifikan (p < 0.05) antara kedua media, dengan TikTok menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Disimpulkan bahwa media TikTok lebih efektif dibandingkan PowerPoint, namun pengembangan pedagogis dan teknis lebih lanjut, serta strategi pendampingan yang tepat, masih diperlukan untuk optimalisasi

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mini hydroponic learning media based on aquaponics on the topic of plant reproduction technology in class IX MTs Negeri Gowa. The type of research conducted is research and development or R&D, adapting the ADDIE model. The participants involved in this research are 34 students from class IX MTs Negeri Gowa. The tools used in this research include validation sheets, questionnaires, performance evaluation, product assessment, portfolios, and learning outcome tests, all of which have been validated. The analysis techniques applied include data analysis regarding validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research results indicate the development of mini hydroponics using ADDIE which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity level of mini hydroponics received a score of 3.51, which falls into the very valid category. The practicality level of mini hydroponics reached 83% and is classified as very practical. This study shows that all 34 students scored above the minimum competency standard (KKM), with a percentage of 100%, thus mini hydroponics is declared an effective tool.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students taught using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, the learning outcomes of students taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, and a comparison of the learning outcomes between the two models. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of two experimental classes, namely experimental class 1 which used the CPS model and experimental class 2 which used the PBL model. The results showed that the average learning outcome score of students in experimental class 1 was 84.7, while in experimental class 2 it was 81. The t-test produced a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between students taught using the CPS and PBL learning models. Thus, it can be concluded that the CPS model provides higher learning outcomes than the PBL model.

Abstract

This study used a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto method. The research population consisted of all 177 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Binamu. From this population, a sample of 63 students was taken using simple random sampling so that each student had an equal chance of being selected. The data collection instruments consisted of a questionnaire to measure the level of social interaction and learning motivation of students, as well as observation sheets to reinforce field data. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely a normality test to ensure data distribution, a linearity test to see the relationship between variables, and a simple regression test to determine the extent of the influence of social interaction on student learning motivation. The analysis results show that the average value of social interaction is in the fairly good category, while student learning motivation is also moderate. Based on a simple regression test, a t-value of 1.048 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained. These results indicate that social interaction has a significant effect on student learning motivation. The contribution of social interaction to learning motivation is 47.619%. This means that almost half of the variation in student learning motivation can be explained by the level of social interaction that occurs in science learning, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) learning approach on student learning outcomes in the digestive system material for eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 23 Makassar. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 341 eighth grade students, with a sample of 76 students selected purposively and divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered at the pre-test and post-test stages to measure improvements in student understanding. In addition, documentation was used to reinforce the research findings. Data analysis was performed using prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and the Independent Samples T-Test using statistical software. The results showed that the average learning score of students in the experimental class was 84.13, while in the control class it was 81.76. Hypothesis testing showed a significant difference between the two groups (Sig. < α = 0.001). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the ATI approach is effective in improving student learning outcomes in digestive system material

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in the laboratory engineering course for biology education students in the 2021-2023 intake. This study is a quantitative correlational study. The subjects were 93 biology education students in the 2021-2023 intake. Data collection techniques used included questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed a high level of learning motivation and varying learning outcomes. The results showed a weak and insignificant relationship between the level of learning motivation and learning outcomes in the Laboratory Engineering course for biology education students in the 2021-2023 intake. Evidence from this study is shown by the Spearman correlation coefficient of r = 0.154, which indicates a very weak positive relationship, and a significance value of p = 0.139, which clearly exceeds the 0.05 significance limit. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning motivation does not have a direct influence on student learning outcomes in the context of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Stimulation, Investigation, Review, and Inference (SIRI) learning model on students creative thinking skills in the excretory system topic for Grade XI students at SMAN 21 Gowa. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of 104 grade XI students, with a sample of 70 students selected purposively. The data collection method used non-tests (observation) and tests. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The average creative thinking skills score of students in the experimental class was 79.5, while in the control class it was 76.42. The analysis revealed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught using the SIRI learning model and those taught without it (Sig. < α = 0.001). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the SIRI learning model is effective in improving creative thinking skills students in the excretory system topic.
