Abstract

Program pengabdian ini merupakan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang bermitra dengan Guru TKIT Al Kautsar Mejobo Kudus. Tim bersama dengan mitra menyepakati setidaknya terdapat empat bidang garapan yaitu 1) Pelatihan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, 2) Pendampingan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, dan 3) Strategi Fun Games. Pada aspek kompetensi tim fokuskan pada dua bidang, yaitu kompetensi pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran. Namun dari keseluruhan aspek permasalahan yang ada lebih fokus pada peningkatan SDM atau kompetensi para guru TKIT Al Kautsar Mejobo Kudus. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, tim bersama mitra mengadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan Fun Games berbasis media ICT yang ditujukan kepada guru TKIT Al Kautsar Mejobo Kudus. Adapun pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan tahapan 1) sosialisasi, 2) pembekalan dan pendampingan, 3) implementasi model pembelajaran Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan Fun Games Bagi Anak Berbasis Media ICT, 4) pendataan hasil kegiatan, dan 5) monitoring dan evaluasi. Dalam pembekalan kompetensi mengajar, tim pelaksana menggunakan IPTEK berupa Pembelajaran berbasis Media ICT. Sedangkan Guru TKIT Al Kautsar dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah sebagai mitra tim pelaksana yang membantu menyiapkan peserta, tempat dan sarana prasarana sekaligus menjadi peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan guru TK IT Al Kautsar sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dan menyatakan kesiapan untuk melaksanakan dan mengimplementasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Selanjutnya akan dilaksanakan monitoring kegiatan implementasi pada pembelajaran pada akhir bulan Oktober 2023.

Abstract

Early childhood is characterized by spontaneous behavior, both in activities and interactions with others. Young children still require adults who can directly demonstrate and inform them about socially acceptable behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of the “Saturday Character” program in shaping polite character among students at TPQ Nurun Ni’mah. The research adopted a descriptive study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted at TPQ Nurun Ni’mah, involving participants consisting of students who participated in the Saturday Character program. Key informants included 8 educators an 45 students, while supplementary informants included the students’ parents. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The result of the study revealed that the cultivation of polite character through the “Saturday Character” program at TPQ Nurun Ni’mah proved to be effective in shaping polite behavior among students.

Abstract

School-based management is a way of managing educational institutions in terms of planning, implementing and evaluating education. MBS stands for , a policy approach that aims to shape school leadership by empowering school leaders and increasing community participation in efforts to improve school performance, including teachers, students, parents and the community. In this case, education management according to MBS is different from previous education management which is centralized in nature, while MBS provides broad autonomy to the school unit itself and involves the community to participate in advancing education in schools. In other words, all school policies and programs are determined by the school committee based on deliberations from members consisting of regional education officials, school principals, teachers, parents' representatives, community leaders, and regional officials where the school is located. The democratization of education is carried out by involving elements of the local government, community and parents in a partnership relationship and fostering positive support for madrasah education. At this level, the decentralization of education as a result of autode includes three important points, namely school-based management, delegation of authority, and educational innovation. The new paradigm in the field of education has pushed towards more humane educational goals. Educational autonomy has provided an opportunity for regions to be able to spur education in their respective regions. While in decentralized management, a lot of central, regional, and regional offices authority is handed over to schools. With this approach, schools will be more empowered and the decisions they make will be more effective and efficient. In the context of implementing SBM, school functions that were originally carried out by the government were partially decentralized to schools to run professionally. For this reason, schools need to build good relations with the community. Schools have programs that need to be introduced to the community, schools also accept criticism and suggestions from the community.

Abstract

The Indonesian government seeks to improve education with policies and curriculum changes that support the times. One of the policies implemented is a centralized school-based management system (SBM). MBS gives schools the freedom and responsibility to develop their potential creatively and innovatively. The headmaster has a role as a manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, entrepreneur and motivator. The headmaster in the Kaliyitno Group, Kudus Regency, have carried out these various central roles in the implementation of SBM. This study used a qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observations, and document observation. The results of the study show that headmaster in the Kaliyitno Cluster have succeeded in carrying out central roles in implementing SBM, such as effective management, good administrative services, teacher supervision, good leadership, entrepreneurship, motivation, and creating a conducive climate. It is recommended that headmaster be more intensive in socializing SBM, develop the competence of headmaster on an ongoing basis, and get greater support to increase the success of SBM implementation.

Abstract

Based on actual observations, there has not been much research explaining the role of school principals in improving the management and quality of education.Meanwhile, research on the role of school principals in improving the management and quality of education is important. Based on these observations, research will be carried out on the role of school principals in improving the quality of education. This research method applies qualitative methods and types of literature studies.. The role of the principal in improving the quality of education is that the principal acts as a manager, the principal acts as an administrator, the principal acts as a supervisorr, the principal acts as an educator, and the principal acts as anentrepreneur.

Tim bersama dengan mitra menyepakati setidaknya terdapat empat bidang garapan yaitu 1) Pelatihan Pembelajaran berbasis Online learning media, 2) Pendampingan Pembelajaran berbasis Online learning media, dan 3) Strategi Fun Games. Pada aspek kompetensi tim fokuskan pada dua bidang, yaitu kompetensi pembelajaran dan strategi pembelajaran. Namun dari keseluruhan aspek permasalahan yang ada lebih fokus pada peningkatan SDM atau kompetensi para guru SMK Assa’idiyyah Mejobo Kudus. Sedangkan Guru SMK Assa’idiyyah Mejobo Kudus dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah sebagai mitra tim pelaksana yang membantu menyiapkan peserta, tempat dan sarana prasarana sekaligus menjadi  peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan. This Community Service program is a Community Partnership Program (PKM) in partnership with Assa'idiyyah 2 Mejobo Kudus Vocational School teachers. The team together with partners agreed that there are at least four areas to work on, namely 1) Learning Training based on Online learning media, 2) Learning Assistance based on Online learning media, and 3) Fun Games Strategy. In the competency aspect, the team focuses on two areas, namely learning competency and learning strategy. However, from the overall aspect of the problem, the focus is more on improving human resources or the competence of teachers at Assa'idiyyah Mejobo Kudus Vocational School. To resolve this problem, the team and partners held training and mentoring based on online learning media and fun games based on ICT media aimed at Assa'idiyyah Mejobo Kudus Vocational School teachers. The implementation uses training and mentoring methods with stages 1) socialization, 2) provision and mentoring, 3) implementation of learning models and Fun Games for Students Based on ICT Media, 4) data collection on activity results, and 5) monitoring and evaluation. In providing teaching competencies, the implementing team uses science and technology in the form of ICT media-based learning. Meanwhile, the Assa'idiyyah Mejobo Kudus Vocational School teacher in implementing this program is a partner of the implementing team who helps prepare participants, places and infrastructure as well as being a training and mentoring participant.

Abstract

In this advanced information and communication era, technology can influence the educational practices of teachers and students. Watching Animation Video is one of the ways to develop listening skill and in this case, it refers to students’ perception of Animation Video as media for learning listening at SMK Al-Hikmah Jepara to gives them the authority to their listening skill. The objective of this research is aimed to know the students’ perception of Animation Video as media for learning listening at SMK Al-Hikmah Jepara. This kind of research is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative design. The participants of this research are 25 tenth grade students of AKL 1 at SMK Al-Hikmah Jepara. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. The result of this study shows that the perception of the tenth grade AKL 1 students of SMK Al-Hikmah Jepara toward using Animation Video as media for learning listening, it can be concluded that most of the students agree to use Animation Video as media for learning listening. It means that the use of Animation Video as media for learning listening gives a potentially positive contribution to developing listening skills. Most students are enjoy and interested in using Animation Video as media for learning listening. Not only that the use of Animation Videos does not make students bored, but students become more active so they are more interested and of course, Animation Videos also help students in increasing vocabulary and developing listening skills. Therefore, hopefully, this research will help students improve their listening skills, especially through the use of Animation Video as listening learning media. Besides that, the researcher also suggests teachers be able to use Animation Videos as media for learning listening in class. Then the researcher suggests for the next researcher, in order to be able can explore more information about the students' perceptions of using Animation Video as media for learning listening in different methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Jigsaw Berbasis Budaya Sekolah pada siswa kelas V SD di Kudus, dan untuk menguji apakah model yang dikembangkan lebih efektif dari model sebelumnya. Kebutuhan model dalam pembelajaran sangat penting karena dapat memacu siswa untuk aktif dan efektif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini fokus pada penggembangan model pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RD). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi, dan tes. model tervalidasi dan panduan scoring di atas 70%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pengembangan dan perangkat pendukungnya layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil belajar meningkat setelah menggunakan buku sesuai model pembelajaran jigsaw berbasis budaya sekolah. Ini menunjukkan bahwa produk tersebut valid. Hasil ini juga diperkuat oleh fakta bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest siswa adalah 64,26, sedangkan nilai posttest adalah 78,80. Peningkatan ini juga tercermin dari banyaknya siswa yang tuntas dan tidak tuntas pretest dan posttest. This study aims to develop a Jigsaw learning model based on School Culture for fifth grade elementary school students in Kudus, and to test whether the developed model is more effective than the previous one. This type of research uses research and development (RD) methods. Data collection in this study was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. This research was carried out in three elementary schools in Kaliwungu sub-district, Kudus district in class V in the 2019/2020 school year The development of the Jigsaw learning model based on School Culture produces a guidebook for the Jigsaw learning model based on the School Culture. The effectiveness test of this development uses PTK, where if there is an increase between cycle I and cycle II, it is said that this model is effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and classify types of errors in the use of prepositions in writing descriptive text by class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Kudus. Researchers analyzed errors using Dulay's theory, namely omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. Researchers used qualitative methods and documents for data collection. The document was in the form of descriptive text with different topics made by class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Kudus for the 2022/2023 academic year. Researchers took 5 students with a total of 15 texts. This research was conducted by performing an error analysis procedure. The first step was to collect samples from students to obtain information obtained through tests using prepositions of time, place, and direction on 5 students with a total of 15 texts. The second step was identifying the error. The third step explained the errors related to the forms of errors made by students. The next step was to describe the error and explain the cause of the error. The final stage was the evaluation of errors, where the errors made by students are evaluated. The results showed that the most errors were in misinformation with 19 errors and 86.4%. In the omission error, there was 1 error and 4.5%. The addition error was only 2 errors and 9.1%. And lastly, there were no errors made by students in Misordering.
