Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perilaku perundungan yang ditemukan di SDN Bendar Kabupaten Pati, sehingga berdampak pada kepercayaan diri korban. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, terdapat beberapa murid yang kurang rasa percaya diri akibat sering mendapat perilaku perundunganyang dilakukan oleh temannya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan menganalisis perilaku perundungan dalam meningkatkan percaya diri murid kelas tinggi SDN Bendar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yakni wawamcara, obseravsi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku perundungan ada dua jenis, yaitu perundungan fisik dan non fisik.Perundungan fisik seperti memukul, menendang, mencekik, dan mendorong. Sedangkan perundungan non fisikseperti mengolok-olok, mengejek, dan memanggil dengan nama orang tua. Dampak psikis yang ditimbulkan pada korbanantara lain, sakit hati, merasa takut, minder, dan tidak percaya diri

Abstract

. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran  tematik kelas V SD berbasis kearifan lokal untuk pengenalan budaya Sedan Rembang  yang memiliki kevalidan dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Borg dan Gall. Langkah penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan penelitian, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba produk awal, revisi hasil uji coba, uji validasi, revisi produk akhir , dan diseminasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif meliputi observasi pembelajaran dan validasi produk bahan ajar. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V di kecamatan Sedan. Desain pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal ini terdiri atas 3 bagian yaitu pendahuluan, isi, dan penutup. Pada bagian isi modul terdiri atas kutipan kompetensi dasar, tujuan pembelajaran, konsep pembelajaran, serta latihan latihan. Kelayakan produk dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli bahasa. Dari proses validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil rata-rata 3,25 dengan persentasi 81% termasuk kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh hasil rata-rata 3,5 dengan persentasi 83% dan kategori sangat baik.. Untuk hasil respon guru diperoleh hasil rata-rata 3,73 dengan jumlah skor 470 dengan kategori sangat baik. Untuk hasil respon peserta didik diperoleh hasil rata-rata 3,92 dengan jumlah skor 752 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan dikuat dengan respon guru dan peserta didik maka modul pembelajaran tematik kelas V SD berbasis kearifan lokal ini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Kurangnya media pembelajaran pada muatan seni budaya, menyebabkan minat belajar siswa menjadi rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pop-up book batik Lasem untuk kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Borg dan Gall, dengan menggunakan tujuh langkah pelaksanaan penelitian yakni penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan penelitian, mengembangkan produk awal, validasi desain produk, revisi desain produk, uji coba produk, dan revisi hasil uji produk. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan angket.  Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif meliputi observasi pembelajaran dan validasi produk media pembelajaran. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru kelas V sekolah dasar. Hasil analisis dari proses validasi ahli materi memperoleh jumlah skor 44 persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Validasi ahli media memperoleh jumlah skor 68 persentase 91% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi maka media pop-up book batik Lasem untuk sekolah dasar dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasi media ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri.

Abstract

Engaging young learners in English language lessons while fostering vocabulary development is a key challenge in elementary education. This study investigates the use of mini booklets, designed with colorful illustrations, as a tool to enhance student engagement and support vocabulary acquisition among first-grade students at SD 1 Margorejo. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving 12 students as participants. Data were collected through observation sheets and teacher reflection notes to examine how the mini booklets influenced classroom dynamics and learning outcomes. The findings indicate that the use of mini booklets significantly increased students’ enthusiasm and participation during English lessons. Students enjoyed interactive activities, demonstrating improved vocabulary retention and confidence in speaking. This study highlights the effectiveness of creative, student-centered teaching materials in early English education, offering practical recommendations for educators aiming to improve engagement and learning outcomes in similar contexts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan permainan edukatif tentang siklus air untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas V. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari 10 tahap yang peneliti simpulkan menjadi 7 tahap yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk dan revisi produk. Teknik yang dipilih dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan tes. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas V Dabin I dan siswa kelas V di Kecamatan Dabin I Lasem. Kelayakan produk dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 91,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 94,4% dengan kategori sangat layak. Kemudian media permainan edukatif interaktif tersebut diaplikasikan pada kelas eksperimen dan hasil perhitungan N-gain sebesar 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Uji efektivitas dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil tes tertulis pembelajaran pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 2,425 pada ttabel dengan a = 5% diperoleh 2,012, sehingga hasil thitung > ttabel. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media permainan edukasi interaktif dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The growing influence of social media on language acquisition has opened new avenues for enhancing student engagement in foreign language learning. However, its impact on verbal participation remains underexplored. This study investigates the role of TikTok as an instructional tool in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) speaking classes, focusing on its effectiveness in fostering student engagement. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study integrates quantitative pre-test and post-test assessments to measure engagement levels and qualitative data from semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions to capture students’ perceptions. The findings indicate a significant increase in engagement: statistical analyses reveal notable improvements in students’ participation, while qualitative insights highlight TikTok’s capacity to enhance motivation, peer interaction, and authentic language practice. These results suggest that TikTok is a dynamic platform for improving speaking skills and engagement, offering valuable implications for educators seeking innovative teaching strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of criminalization on teacher motivation and performance in several public elementary schools in Geyer District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java Province. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of teachers and school principals. Data analysis used the interactive model from Miles et al. (2014), which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validation was conducted using source triangulation and member checking techniques. The results of the study indicate that the threat of criminalization triggers anxiety and lowers teachers' self-confidence, which results in decreased creativity and innovation in learning. Teachers tend to choose conventional methods to avoid legal risks, making interactions with students rigid and less meaningful. This tension also affects classroom dynamics and the learning atmosphere. The lack of institutional support and the absence of clear protection policies exacerbate teachers' psychological stress, ultimately negatively impacting their motivation and performance. This study recommends the need for a more empathetic institutional approach and adequate legal protection policies to create a safe working environment that optimally supports teachers' professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of technology in optimizing inclusive education management at the Jepara State Special School (SLB), particularly through adaptive learning applications, digital assistive devices, and communication platforms. Using a qualitative approach, this study describes the contribution of technology to the effectiveness of learning management and responsive decision-making. The research findings indicate that technology supports flexible and real-time learning processes; however, its implementation still faces challenges related to infrastructure, teachers' limited digital literacy, and access disparities in certain areas. Therefore, policies ensuring equitable access, ongoing training for educators, and the development of adaptive curricula are necessary. Optimizing the role of technology in inclusive education at Jepara State SLBs can create a more equitable and efficient learning environment and help achieve the goal of providing education for all.

Abstract

Mastering vocabulary naturally aids students in the use of and examining the four language skills including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As a result, there is a precise hyperlink between vocabulary knowledge and language capability performance. Therefore, this study aimed to know the relationship between students' passive vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension at Public School in Kudus. The quantitative method design was used in this research. The subject of this research was 30 students who were randomly selected. The instruments used were multiple-choice tests to measure passive vocabulary acquisition and reading comprehension. The data were analyzed using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between passive vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.533. This indicates that students' reading comprehension of English literature improves with their level of passive vocabulary acquisition. It means that the development of students’ vocabulary mastery is important to their reading comprehension. Therefore, teachers could implement more strategies that ultimately supporting students in becoming stronger and more confident readers. In addition, future researcher provides more nuanced insights into the relationship between passive vocabulary and reading comprehension on their research.

Abstract

Purpose – Vocabulary is an important aspect of learning English, especially in Indonesia, where English is a foreign language. However, monotonous methods often make students bored and have difficulty communicating. Claymation can be an interesting solution and make understanding easier. This study is important to find out whether Claymation media can really help students master vocabulary better.Method – This study uses quantitative methods with the research design used is a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design that focuses on one class without a control class and changes in learning outcomes cannot be fully attributed to Claymation, so researchers design valid and reliable instruments and conduct trials before being applied to the treatment class. The sample consisted of 36 tenth-grade Animation 1 students in the treatment class. Findings – The results of this study show significant differences. The mean pre-test of 76.22 to the post-test with a mean of 86.33, showing an increase of 10.11 it’s means that many students got a positive rank, which means that the post-test score is higher than the pre-test score, and students have improved. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed sig. value (2 tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. Thus, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. So, the use of Claymation is proven effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery. Research Implications – This study highlights the effectiveness of using Claymation movie which helps in overcoming students' difficulties in vocabulary mastery. The use of Claymation proves that it can increase students' vocabulary, make the classroom atmosphere feel fun, and increase students' learning motivation. In the future, Claymation can be one of the alternative media and solutions for teachers in teaching English to students.
